That is the point of the government or at least it should be. The government should protect the minority from the majority. If the government actually did only the things listed in the constitution do you realize how much money would be saved, I mean really how often would you really need to go to congress and vote on something? The governments function is not simply to exsist to help run your lives, the function of a government is general protection for its citizens from outside aggressors, dipomacy, protection of rights. The government should have given all of the stimulus money out to the consumers in the form of spending credits.
These credits could only be used to purchase goods and services in the American economy. It's waaaaaayyyyy cheaper to let those 40,000 women become symptomatic (uncurable) and die than to treat all 240,000. Same with prostate cancer except there's less concern about the 30,000 American men dying from PCa. PCa screening is basically free.

Oh it goes even dipper. After checking out their website. It showed $500million for a hospital 5 miles from my house. so one day i drive by where this hospital is going to be built. and guess what? There nothing but trees. They haven't even cut the trees down yet. So there's no jobs. But yet they added 1000 jobs to list as constrution. and 500 jobs running it.
so then I go to the city and find there has not been no permits pull to even put a hospital there. It's zoned residential.

The government should have given all of the stimulus money out to the consumers in the form of spending credits.
These credits could only be used to purchase goods and services in the American economy. This way the money would go towards increasing GDP (not to repaying debt) and would go to where THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT IT TO (aka dollar voting) rather than where the gov't wants it to go (aka special interest)

First off, there are many reasons not to suggest giving such regular mammograms. They're expensive, not very effective and painful.
Second, medicine isn't a static unchanging field. They are constantly refining what is and is not effective.
Third, why would they change the recommendations for mammograms and nothing else?
Fourth, the healthcare bill hasn't passed yet.

Minor observation- it's not the cost of the screening they're seeking to avoid, or even the cost of "unnecessary" biopsies, etc., it's the cost of treatment. ~240,000 new cases diagnosed, ~40,000 BCa deaths/yr. It's waaaaaayyyyy cheaper to let those 40,000 women become symptomatic (uncurable) and die than to treat all 240,000. Same with prostate cancer except there's less concern about the 30,000 American men dying from PCa. PCa screening is basically free.

Bush was one of the most unpopular presidents and he got plenty of crap and protests from the people for his bullshit. How does that make a difference on what Obama is doing? Obama supports many of Bush's policies (such as TARP and "Leave No Child Behind" AND the two wars) and has spent even more money than Bush has in his entire two terms COMBINED. You fucking Obamaites can't just admit your leader is a failure, can you? Too bad. Must suck to be you.

Why does it "take time" to end a war? That's something that actually CAN happen over night. The President declares the war is over and the troops immediately start pulling out. You've bought into political bullshit if you think it takes years to leave a goddamn country.

He actually did. He could have stopped giving out stimulus packages, ended both wars immediately, cut down government spending, etc. He didn't do any of that though. He instead decided to help out special interests and continue on the foolish Keynesian route. I love how you insist you're not an Obamaite even though you talk exactly like one ("Bush left all this shit for him and he didn't have many choices," etc.).

Yes, you know what will happen if we pull out? We'll have no more troops that will get attacked by terrorists over there and we'll instead have more troops over here to protect actual Americans. Seems like a win-win if you ask me.

When an Islamic terrorist blows up on a busy train and kill 50+ people, or in a night club, or gets into homes and starts killing off as many people as he can before the police arrives to take him down, what exactly are you going to do? I think it is terrific that you guys have prevented terrorism in Israel with your war on Palestine, but I don't think it is as necessary for us to stop people on the other side of the world by bombing them. Sometimes fighting fire with fire just doesn't work. Your country is a perfect example of that.

We haven't stopped terror by our "war on Palestine" (incidently, there is no such place as 'Palestine'). We have increased the terror by showing weakness and going out of our way to try and make peace with the terrorists. You can't win peace by being weak.

Yeah, well I don't think we can win by bankrupting our country. Our soldiers and our money are finite and should be treated as such. If our country falls into another depression, who wins then? Yes I think Oceans will hinder them from doing as much to us as they do to you. They aren't right next door to us. They can't swim to us. They can't fly in our planes anymore without security and civilians watching their every move now. So, yes I think your point is totally and unequivocally moot.
