@Link00360 there is a major legacy of kain website which they have pieced it together using amy hennings (the creators help) appretly his role as scion of blanance is so set in stone so absolute that the it over powered the fact that he didnt have a heart...he wasnt supposed to die and so faith kept him alive in his role. (the creators words)

Yes i beleive so.but, Mortanius sought redemption later and so made Kain. Kain time streamed back and murdered the King that lead them and would have unleashed a genocide on the vampires after they had passed on the curse to the humans to retain the binding against the Hilden...it gets more confusing from here...LOL.:D

I think that is explained in the game itself.

The Elder God isn't an ally of the vampires, he just uses them as food (When they die, he eats their soul or something like that). He tricked the vampires into worshipping him like a god, but when the vampires were made immortal and sterile, he didn't have an infinite supply of souls, so I think he wants the hylden to enter the world so he can eat theirs instead.

Actually, it's never said what happened to Janos after BO 2. He could still be alive in where the Hylden are imprisoned.

well if I remember correctly, no one dies in the realm of the exiled (the Hylden) so Kain survived, but that may not explain, so try this, Kain IS undead, so he cannot die just without a heart, only without a soul :P probably

Raziel because he is the only individual with free will following his realease from the Reaver and his life as a wraith or Kain, the Scion of Balance as the only remaining Vampire who can sand against the Hylden?

Or is it that their destinies are entwined following the ending in the fact that Kain wileds the Soul Reaver endowed with his soul, fated to combat this threat togther as it were?
