This really is an awesome performance ,I seen them at Winterland (San Francisco) in 1976.Just thinking about that show gives me goose bumps ! ,bad ass show.
Thanks to Everlord for posting this with clean audio. The set list is awesome.
Perry was at his best backed by Rolie. Seeing Of a Lifetime done so well
and the audience and Steve Smith getting off on the first album is amazing.
I met and spoke at length with Greg Rollie recently. Its a shame he won't do this type of material with the GRB. They were ahead of the curve of Rush and
Kansas with these hard driving melodic ballads. Everlord: This is the best overall Journey performance ever.
Ya know what kinda pisses me off....you see this video, and at this time Eddie Van Halen was the guitar go.
Neal is so much tastier a player, more melodic and more versatile. Neal needs his due. That band, with Rolie or Cain, was what every live band should aspire to play like. Tight but improvisational with TONS of musicianship.
Greg: "Wtf, aren't I supposed to be the star of the band?"

Ooh, that hair.. I love the contrast of the white jacket with the dark hair.

It still amazes me that that Big Voice came from that tight little body,,,,,
