Is that one of the skeletal Originals made today? The reason I ask is because I see on low speed the blades are turning faster than what I have seen the blades on an older American-made Original turn on low speed. Is it possible that because you put Summer Breeze blades/arms (less pitch) on the Original, there is less air resistance?
No sir, it is a Made in America Original. These blades/blade arms are just lighter than Original parts, as they're manufactured for a direct drive motor. On the higher power Original motor they spin much faster...
Wow, that must make for a LOT of Originals! If they ever get planned for removal you should try to get them. Even if you don't want the fans they'll make you some really good money on Ebay, I mean hundreds upon hundreds of dollars if you've got lots of fans...
Want to know something else that's strange? YouTube put a link in the time I typed, and it doesn't even exist! It just goes to the end of the video! =D
In your opinion, does this fan look better with 4 or 5 blades on it? Also, that 97 stamped in the bottom left of the tag is DEFINATELY the model year of the fan.
I never figured it out. I know the code is on DT, but I never looked it up. There's a 97 stamped in the bottom left of the tag, that might be it. In the bottom right is 294130.
Ohh yeah it Is faster than it should with theses blades/brackets. I know it will be totally none matching but just for fun you could try your real Hunter Original blades/brackets from your brown/brass one on this just to see if it goes slower.
The brackets aren't the same size, so I can't really do that, or I probably would have. I was thinking about making a white/pb hybrid from the two fans, just to see what it's like. I've got PB Summer breeze blade arms to use...
nice i like the hunters there a powerful fan. whats the white one called the off to the right of the hunter that has the 5 blades i have seen those kinds of fans in alot of places with loft like ceilings?
Of course it does, it's a Hunter Original.

Hello!, This is blacksash100 saying that the Hunter Original Ceiling fans are at my middle school. 3 to 4 in each classroom.

It looks better with five when it has these Summer Breeze blades, but otherwise they always look best with four.

That's a Casablanca Delta II to the right, and the brass one with 5 light blades is also a Delta II. I have videos of both fans up in my channel.
