@TheAmazingUploader The reason Swedens welfare system is in its current state is because of poor planing that the previous one had. " they where in charge at the time of the PLANNING you are refering to!" And one of the reasons for selling out and privatizing formerly governmentally owned companies is because THERE IS NO MORE MONEY. Regardless of the taxes we couldn't afford paying for school or health care that we had in the long run. There are no good political parties.
Well, the only reason Sweden still going in pluss, is because all the swedish youth is working in Norway. Why don`t they use Norway as an example as well? The economy there is far more better than in Sweden...
@Mrthomvolver You have a rather twisted sense of reality! Do you really beleive that 20 000 visiting youth workers can sustain an economy of 9400 000 ppl?
You´re quite naive if you beleive that thats the case! Sweden would do fine without norway, yet norway wouldnt work without Sweden!
I agree that the clip is biased. But we made it out of the financial crisis with only a few quarters of stagnated growth at worst. The main reason? A good, fairly solid budget and a finance minister who is very much interested in financial responsibility. There are some problems on the horizon, but so far our economy is not very volatile and therefore we can plan ahead.
That said: Our central bank is keeping the interest rate at 0,25%. Much like Greenspan did. Hopefully that will change soon.
And by the way, Swedens housing bubble was in 1990. With an Economic disaster similar of today's Greece. We are doing great since the Liberal government we have now is cutting the expensive welfare the socialist's have built up for the past century. Thanks to that we could Cut our income axes, from an average of 45% in 2006 to an average of 38% in 2011, and the value added tax from 25% to "only" 12.5%.
@CheatNuker rather the liberal swedish goverment have been riding long on the hard work done by the socialist party that ruled before them, who rode out the storm, left a balanced and solid economy which the liberals now have done and are currently doing their best to scew up again and that by doing the very same mistake this clip is talking about in the begining, sitting back leaving most things to "the free market" to decide. The liberals have run out of ideas and their politics is not working
@bemiand Are you some kind of expert on Sweden or are you a swede like me? Anyhow here is a fact that may or may not blow your mind: From year 1970-1989 (the golden age of the socialists) our economy grew by a total of 330%, however the inflation was 229.5% wich gives an increase of GDP -inflation of 0.5 percent total over 20 years. De-regulation of the market started in the mid 80:s and accelerated as the liberal government took over in 1990. From 1990-2010 GDP -inflation was +40%. Enough said.
You are misleading the public! the fact their market share increase only means they managed to loose less than the average. And yeah, I'm Swedish, long live our 7.2 % GDP increase of 2010!(following a 5 % decrease 2009)
the thing he dont take up about the swedish economy is that small swedish businesses is going on their knees because they cant export in result of the strong kronan(swedish currency)
@Erobazai Please look at the date of this video, the krona got strong in recent months. As matter of fact, the krona is one of the most fluctuating currencies in the market, it raises spectacularly just to fall the same way, so that doesn't matter.
How come we're doing so good in sweden? Well, we're one of the biggest manufacturers of weapons in the world so one of the reasons is of course the wars in afghanistan and Iraq... Thank you for that USA!
HEY! Bankers never go to federal prison in Sweden! Sweden is the size of California. Or Oklahoma. Everybody knows each other. Ten families run Sweden.
Let me tell you a joke: Sweden is not a banana repupblic. We're a banana monarchy.
Come on RT... I respect you a lot, but this is seriously exaggerated. My GF and I were caught in the middle when the housing bubble burst. And it has affected our lives forever. So please don't say that there was no housing bubble because we're paying for it every day.
He is right, both about the Goldman Sachs and about our regulation of the credit market. I think the major thing here is that a few greedy people, the "banksters", actually stole your money without you knowing, and they have been for some time. Some may get punished but it is not a given. They caused this crisis and you have to clean it up.
You are all idiots, trying to fix a broken model. Remove the monetary system, we have the resources to automatize all necessary labour TODAY, and even earlier. No one needs to 'work', no more hegemony, no more hierarchies, screw moral values you are all deceived by 'society'.
Relax guys, when we swedes run out of money, "Försvarsmakten" will change back to it's original and proper name - "Krigsmakten" - and we will simply march on Norway!
@piirken war between Sweden and Norway would be the weirdest war. I bet both sides would purposely miss their targets cuz they just don't have the heart to kill their brothers :P
I believe in capitalism but it needs big checks and regulation. Taxation in places like America needs to be more progressive. How can a country that is so powerful and so rich have people that live like people do in shanty towns of the developing world.
@TiipX För det första så klagar du på att jag talar som jag vet allting, medans du själv gör exakt samma sak, förutom genom att vara på den andra sidan utav diskussionen. Sluta kasta sten i glashus. För det andra så hade problemet med socialdemokraterna inte funnits om det nu är som du säger att alla givetvis går och jobbar istället för att få bidrag och göra ingenting. För det tredje, det var bra många år sedan jag gick ut gymnasiet, grabben :)
The problem was obviously of regulation not lack of it. In the nighties they started this prosject of getting poor people to own a house. What a fantastic idea. Only that reality doesnt agree with regulationssuggestions like these. Everything politicians lay there hands on just fades away. Sadly we have democracy which makes it the stupid people into control.
This video is misleading! I'm European and I can tell you that Germany suffered a lot and it's growth fell to 0.3% (for Q3 of 2011). All of Europe is suffering. besides I don't agree (being European) that the gov. should spend my tax money on workers who would be laid off. We are not one big family. They made their choice and picked their profession. I shouldn't have to suffer because of their choice.
@kotapaka That is incorrect. All of Europe is not suffering. Here in Norway there is nothing. Everything is as before the crisis, and have been completely stable since. However, if it gets any worse and countries stop buying our fish and oil...
@kotapaka Haha, European? No, you're British ;) Also Germany rebounded, that's the whole point. The presenter said as much!
Not *all* of Europe is suffering, as you stupidly claim, the Scandinavian countries and Germany are just some of the examples! We are doing great, no crisis here!
You also seem to have no understanding of economics. In Germany tax money is not just "supporting" them, they're keeping people employed, which leads to other jobs being kept alive including yours!
@pippipop1337 If you get More then enough from being un-employeed. Do you REALLY think people will get up in the morning to do a crappy job when they can sit on their fat-asses and do Nothing, but the money will still coming in. Now I dont know what nationality you are if you are svensk så äru jävligt ignorant som inte ser detta. If not well, this is what's going on in sweden. Yes people with no jobs should get help, of course. But. They should'nt get enough money so they dont Need to get a job.
Wait a minute.... Yes its true that Swedens economy is recovering. But the Debt created by the socialistic party in order to provide health care and education they couldn't afford when the rest of Europe didn't need our labor after it rebuild themself after the second world-war. I still enormous consider that Sweden is a small country. But hey at least we don´t have a fake federal reserve.
So Goldmann Sachs got out of it with a profit. Well who provided this bail-out? You guessed it: the government through regulation. USA:s problem is not too little regulation - it's too much regulation. Sweden's got other problems and have been subject to housing bubbles before, due to different interest groups using the government to fend for them and disregard the rest. Regulations is the problem, not lack of it. A free market has an inevitable self-regulating effect.
Sweden was very close to a banking collapse and the largest bankj in Sweden is State owned and was in the most trouble, Again!
What gave sweden a good economy was the lack of "stimulus programs" that took money from one part of the economy to spend on stupid projects. On top of this the government sat still in the boat and didn't worry the market about unexpected regulation and lowered the taxes.
Funny that we swedes are lowering our taxes, well we got a minimal tax of 30-33% (depending on where you live) for all income and if you exceed 3 911 USD a month the tax is raised to a +20%, thats 50-53%. If you make more than 5 815 USD a month it's a staggering +25%, thats 55-58% taxes every month! Whats the taxes in the US?? We also got something called a MOMS, thats about 25% tax on everything you do or buy in sweden, groceries, furniture, you name it, and i bet we got even more taxes!
@pippipop1337 Now that is a huge generalization of sweden. If you look the other way around with the same eyes on the socialists it would be: People get enough money from the goverment because they have '' ills '', then they would just sit at home and watch the money flowing in. It is not a good idea to let the people with no jobs have it to good, because then they wont go to work. The reds in sweden are too kind but the blue are a little to harsh. Still i prefer the blue.
@pippipop1337 Well, get your ass out there and try to work and get your own money instead of dying on your couch. That is what Reinfeldt wants.... He wants you to get at job instead of living on other peoples money
No housing bubble is incorrect, + unemployment not lower than in the USA, growthrate in the Swe economy not much higher than inflation over the last 20y
For those americans who thinks they are smart and think that other countrys is not good need a bullet in the head who the fuck you think you are anyways you dont know SHIT about sweden
yes the economy is great in sweden.. and all the rest is collapsing there
First of all multiculturalism is not working at all, the racism, violence and hatred is massive, crime is 100 times worse than 20 years ago. Plus Sweden is a radical lesbian feminist dictatorship, so women are living sweet life and men are treated like shit 24/7. The anti male laws are ridiculous and misandry is at its peak. So... yes sweden is doing great in terms of finance, business and economy, but the society is crap
what a fucking iudiot, on your YT page there's written 30 year ols, so big fucking lesbian liar. Plus it says United States, so big fucking lesbian cunt on the net to shame men. Go kill yourself stupid dumb useless cunt.
Classy, very classy. The misspelling and the hate speech suit you. Not only that but making assumptions also makes an ass out of yourself. I am a swedish citizen who lived in the US for many years, I created this account and felt no need to give my real age so dipshits like wouldnt have info on me. what does being a lesbian have to do with anything? Pull your head out of your ass and realize there is no giant gay conspiracy set out to shame you.
@imscaredofcoffee do you know anything about Sweden at all ? cuz i don't recognize any of what you said =) it just made me laugh =D "crime is 100 times worse, radical lesbian feminist dictatorship, The anti male laws" lol sounds like some kind of catastrophy movie =D
@kaffehalvan I wouldn't say that crime has increased by a hundred times, but the rate of murders and high profile crimes has almost skyrocketed since the 1960s. Remember Norrmalmstorgsdramat in 1973? That was almost literally one of the worst crime-related things to happen in Sweden for almost 4 decades. Now people are highjacking money transports with machineguns every other month. It's not at all as bad as imscaredofcoffee is making it out to be, but it's still pretty damn bad. :/
On the contrary. We have our housing bubble and it has begun to burst (2011). We have had no regulations any longer to speak of over our banks for the latest 30 years (mid 1980s). Sweden doing fine? Swedes have no savings. Unemployment rates for young people is 25%. You are considered "old" on the job market when you turn 40. We have severe problems.
This is not a realistic view of Swedish economy. The government boasts with great figures today, because they've sold out an enormous amount of the government-owned companies (Those that handle medicine, pensions and health care).
These were all first put in place by the democratic socialists who actually thought about the REAL future (not merely a few years ahead like our current government -.-).
Within a few years we probably won't have regulations either. If Reinfeldt gets his way..
So your point is then that the former Socialist party had the economy better off before 2006? Not even by far! You might not have noticed, and probably not studied the economy, but the regulations and government intervention is what is causing the crisis world wide. State is trying to regulate the market and create demand that does not exist through various interests set by state banks, a false demand creates a bubble. This is what the socialist party is yearning for more.
@Messaneo You do know that Sweden is only improving thanks to Reinfeldt and his compotent staff, let-alone, you're totally ignoring Anders Borg (Who's the real heavy lifter in this case to why our economy is going well). Look back in history to Göran Persson and his incompotent staff and what they managed to accomplish- wait a minute.
@noldorian86 I didn't correct your sentence(-s). Your input was just mindblowing stupid, much like this one. You're probably some lowlife trash, so be on your way now.
@noldorian86 Looks like someone is abit upset over getting literally dumpstered over the internet. I didn't complain about your writing, I complained about your sentence lacking any sort of meaningful substance. Go to bed, it's way pass your bed-time already.
@Messaneo You make it sound so dangerous and evil, but in reality it's not. Those companies where owned by the state, yes, but in they were never RUN by the state, they had their own steering and now the goverment sold these shares to others who sought them. The owners may have changed but the companies remain the same since they are profitable the way they are. Try using your whole brain next time, before you make an utter fool of yourself - sir. Good day.
@Messaneo Välkommen till det social-liberala samhället, ett statsskick som faktiskt fungerar och fokuserar på individen istället för att applicera tidigare bevisade katastrofer till socialistiska påfund.
It might be exaggerated, yes. However, Sweden did make it out of the crisis rather well compared to other countries still on the brink. We did this thanks to regulation and because we did not stop consuming.
Still, this clip is obviously biased and trying to sell the idea of government intervention rather than strictly inform about the phenomena.
If Reinfeldt gets his way we'll be working until we're 75 and cancer patients will die in the cubicles. Not even a joke...
@RQBBAN No Reinfeldt dosent whant that to happen -_-.... god read up on facts before sharing about our politics to the rest of the world. Reinfeldt knows some ppl are able to do there work even after pension is at hand (65). We all dosent grow old the same way so he whant to give the old folks the CHANCE to continue working if they whant to.... (and no im not Moderat im "Miljö Partist")
Heard of "utförsäkring"? well, I could tell you lots about it from people very close to me, hell I could even email you copies of what a 21 year old girl with a tumour in her head is supposed to live on (eight hundred a month since she lives with her boyfriend who makes 15 000 a month pre tax).
This is after 6 months of both doctors and parents pressing the insurance that she is NOT able to work with a tumour in her head. Old folks can ALREADY work after 65 if they want to.
@RQBBAN Now that wasent what i was talkin about? I dident say Reinfeldt is good.... i was just saying that the old folks had there CHANCE left if they whanted to continue workin... As i said im Miljö Partist and i h8t our current goverment more then anything else. Just whanted to keep it clean and not lie
I'm on the blue half. However, when someone puts bureucrats to decide wether a person can work or not, and values the paper guys opinion more than the doctors opinion, things are wrong.
Who will decide wether 65 year old Agda is fit for work?
My grandpa's almost 75 now, he's working still. Obviously it is possible already...
@RQBBAN Reinfeldts proposition about the retirement question isn't as you described. You aren't forced to work until your 75, but you have the ability to work if you want to. This is why we are getting healthier and will live longer than our grandparents generation. That means our general retirement money (that comes from taxes) will not last long enough for everyone if they retire at 65 and live til they're 95-100. That's you can choose to work longer so the money last.
I never tried to describe the proposition, I said that "if Reinfeldt gets his way" (as in if it was all up to Reinfeldt), as well as comparing the basic idea of the proposition (in no way describing it) with another change that has already been made during Reinfeldt.
@Tellsonnel True to some degree. This would make it alot harder to be able to retire at the current retirement age. So now it's easy to retire at 65, but it would be harder rienfeldt gets trough. It's not just an extension of work, it's a limitation of the minimum.
@Tellsonnel Thats wrong. It will actually be harder to retire at 65. Its never just for "those who want to" because it always drags everyone else down with it.
@Tellsonnel you should get you facts straight, people like Reinfeldt (with big earnings) will have the ability to make that choice.. not "ordinary" hard-working people. THEY will work until they're underground. This is just a way to abrogate retirement plans for people with low salaries.
@RQBBAN what the fuck is up with u "sossjävlar" reinfeldt gave the option to work to the age of 75, we're not forced to do it. it's better than nothing don't u think?
@RQBBAN yeah but that will work only if u've made an agreement with the employer. after the age of 67 the employer can hire u for a limited amount of time and not a permanent employment which will only be positive for the employer and not the employee. And i can't see that you've been saying that you are blue, i think u need to look at your original message again before making statements like that. read before you weep
@RQBBAN i've looked 10 pages back now and didn't even see the discussion. maybe u could look it up and post it then so i know what the discussion is:) but never the less u were only complaining about me calling u "sossjävel" so sorry about that if it's wrong but you are not answering anything else i posted
Ctrl + f then type in the author of the comment you wish to find.
Reason as to why I did not answer the rest of your comment is that I don't like to repeat myself, if you're interested enough to know then now you know how to find what you're looking for.
@RQBBAN Yes it's deffinetly a joke, do you honestly believe that? People live to be older now, about half of the people beeing borned today are expected to live to see 100 years. If they only work untill their 65, and they start working at let's say 25, that's a pretty short period. And of course cancer patients aren't going to be forced to work being deathly sick, you can't honestly be stupid enough to believe that can you? As you said Sweden is going great thanks to Reinfeldt and Borg.
It's exaggerated to prove a point. Today, people who are not fit for work are deemed fit for work by försäkringskassan even though doctors and specialists say no. 1 example very close to me is a 21 year old girl with a tumour suffocating her pituitary gland (hypofys) was according to Försäkringskassan fit for work, against the recommendations of several doctors and specialists. Now 6 months later she is finally getting something to live on (800 a month)
@RQBBAN That is försäkringskassan fucking up and not Reinfeldt, you could probably take it to court. More than half of people borned now will live to 100, if they only work untill their 65 that is only about 40 years of their life. The other 60 years they would live of tax money. Child support, pension etc... Ofc people are going to have to work longer the older we become as a whole. And as for the girl with a tumor, Reinfeldt isn't evil, it's obviouslt a mistake by försäkringskassan.
Reinfeldt made the mistake of giving the decision wether or not a patient is able to work to bureaucrats instead of doctors. Three years later things are as bad as ever with försäkringskassan and he wants to squeeze more without giving effort to fixing that mistake. I can see the logic which you describe and I agree with you on that point, however before we can truly do that we MUST make sure people don't have to fight hell to afford food when they obviously can't work.
and also that IF in the future someone is to decide wether or not someone else closing up to pension is able to work, a doctors word should bear more weight than it does today. I do not trust bureaucrats to make medical decisions as you have surely noticed by now ;)
@RQBBAN As i said a mistake by försäkringskassan and you should probably take it to court. And i never said i did, i'm just syaing it's silly to think Reinfeldt is some evil mastermind wanting us to work like slaves sick or not...
@FailARN100 Försäkringskassan is just following the rules, that's what its director said to a SVT journalist. So in the end, Reinfeldt passes the bill and give blank check to bureaucrats to interpret it. Honestly, what would you have done if u were a försäkringskassa's employee, with ur manager screening how many applications u granted a benefit to?
And now they want people to work until we're 75. I can see the logic behind working longer, and some people do today work until they are 75 or even older. So, the real bugger to me is the next step, in 5 years will we be expected to work until 75? If someone can't do that, will he/she have to fight the same way this 21 yod girl and many others had to do?
Unless they puts doctors in charge of doctors work my honest opinion is that upping the age to 75 is a bad idea.
@Messaneo ehmm... sorry, but the money from stuff that has been sold has been used to pay off the deficit.. Money that has been spent on stuff we could not afford.
The term social democracy can be a bit misleading, it is far from what Marx referred to as a "socialist state". The economy of these countries are still basically capitalist, just not as extreme as the US. Here we realize that capitalisms has it's flaws and we try to correct for them. With pure capitalism there is no way to prevent stuff like the tragedy of the commons, or irresponsible financial behavior.
Sweden is not iven close of being a socialism country, we think school and health care should be free and its retarded thats its not in some countrys. A big reason why we didnt drop much in 2008 was because we dont have euro and another reason is regulation, there are also many other reason. dont get angry at sweden because this man says that the usa presidents were retard and sweden as a country aint :) ps LOVE USA AND SWEDEN
@TheCborg Were a fucking socialism country idiot, why do you think we have such welfare? I mean look at the USA with the SOPA and PIPA, isnt that just proof how FREE and awesome kapitalism is? It works to a certain point when it goes too far it becomes corrupt.
@DrPown if you're Swedish, you are completely stupid, socialism does not work our society we are not some kind of fucking Soviet Union! Capitalism works in the right amounts, but if you find that wonderful Sweden with the world's best medical care you can get for free! if you think it is such a fucking bad country and you're a fucking idiot who should shut up and move to the USA!
@Bassen97 If you even dare to compare Socialsocialism with Communism it shows how incompetent you are to even speak of the subject, you know thats its because of our union and several other things that regulation and such things even stand today. We've been halfblue and were as tinywiny blue as we can be today if u want to be called blue. I mean you should read some books man, i feel sorry for you. Do you even know the diffrence between socialsocialism and communism? xD artard
@TheCborg sweden is a social democracy, like he said. That is just using parts of the socialism that we like. Socialism in america means communism for some, which it isn't its just a way for republicans to make sure ppl are scared of it so the poor would vote for stuff that benefits the rich.
You went down 6,5% in early 2009, we went down 8,7% in Finland (this was when the banking crisis hit the real economy). Is that 2% because of the Euro? Or is it because Sweden has a broader industry sector? Or is it because the slump coincided with Nokia's problems? Personally I think its all of the above. But the euro only works against Finland when the euro is strong and thats rarely the case when the world economy goes down hill.
@TheCborg Allmän vård är ett exempel på socialistiska idéer och Sveriges politik är social-liberal, vi är indoktrinerade i socialistiska tankar och solidaritet.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Sweden is fine for 2 reasons..
1) They stole all the Jew gold after the holocaust. Gold is up right now.
2) They bring in Arabs to do all the shit work in the country but now they have a shitton of Arabs there so they are fucked. Kinda like California except with Muslims instead of Mexicans.
@packinwood2009 1) That's just fabricated. 2) They come by themselves, and most of them are quite wealthy. You think it's the poor ones that can afford to escape wars across a whole continent? Low educated swedes do the grunt work.
& our wefare has little to do with all the imigrants, quite the controary, atm, our biggest issue is, them flooding our conunty, and if the goverment dont plug that hole, Sweden is going to sink like a ship. We dont have enought jobs for the ppl already in sweden, hey lets bring some more fellas. The more the merrier right?.... no..
People vote for Michael Bachmann and Sarah Palin, but why the fuck couldn't they elect this guy instead!!! What he just talked about is the most respected comments made by an american I've ever heard. It jus seems that the good guys don't get elected, while the bad once does. Wake up America!!!

Sweden is one of the few EU-members not living in the 1930's.
Germany, under Merkel, is beginning to learn. All of Europe should listen to her.
I, as a European, hope other large countries like France and Britain will join us.
I don't have high hopes for Italy and Spain as they are very corrupt nations, but I will never stop hoping for a change..

CheatNuker 2 weeks ago
@CheatNuker rather the liberal swedish goverment have been riding long on the hard work done by the socialist party that ruled before them, who rode out the storm, left a balanced and solid economy which the liberals now have done and are currently doing their best to scew up again and that by doing the very same mistake this clip is talking about in the begining, sitting back leaving most things to "the free market" to decide. The liberals have run out of ideas and their politics is not working
bemiand 1 week ago
@bemiand Are you some kind of expert on Sweden or are you a swede like me? Anyhow here is a fact that may or may not blow your mind: From year 1970-1989 (the golden age of the socialists) our economy grew by a total of 330%, however the inflation was 229.5% wich gives an increase of GDP -inflation of 0.5 percent total over 20 years. De-regulation of the market started in the mid 80:s and accelerated as the liberal government took over in 1990. From 1990-2010 GDP -inflation was +40%. Enough said.
CheatNuker 2 hours ago
You are misleading the public! the fact their market share increase only means they managed to loose less than the average. And yeah, I'm Swedish, long live our 7.2 % GDP increase of 2010!(following a 5 % decrease 2009)

2 Swedish government is running surpluses? Yeah right! - Anyone who works in the public sector knows that this is utter bullshit.
3 The german economy is obviosly profiting from the euro-crisis since it devaluates the euro and German industries can sell more stuff.

The problem was obviously of regulation not lack of it. In the nighties they started this prosject of getting poor people to own a house. What a fantastic idea. All of Europe is suffering. besides I don't agree (being European) that the gov. should spend my tax money on workers who would be laid off. We are not one big family. They made their choice and picked their profession. I shouldn't have to suffer because of their choice.

Abrin78 1 month ago
So Goldmann Sachs got out of it with a profit. Well who provided this bail-out? You guessed it: the government through regulation. USA:s problem is not too little regulation - it's too much regulation. Sweden's got other problems and have been subject to housing bubbles before, due to different interest groups using the government to fend for them and disregard the rest. Regulations is the problem, not lack of it. A free market has an inevitable self-regulating effect.

What BS
Sweden was very close to a banking collapse and the largest bankj in Sweden is State owned and was in the most trouble, Again!
What gave sweden a good economy was the lack of "stimulus programs" that took money from one part of the economy to spend on stupid projects. On top of this the government sat still in the boat and didn't worry the market about unexpected regulation and lowered the taxes.
AdurianJ 1 month ago
Funny that we swedes are lowering our taxes, well we got a minimal tax of 30-33% (depending on where you live) for all income and if you exceed 3 911 USD a month the tax is raised to a +20%, thats 50-53%. If you make more than 5 815 USD a month it's a staggering +25%, thats 55-58% taxes every month! Whats the taxes in the US?? We also got something called a MOMS, thats about 25% tax on everything you do or buy in sweden, groceries, furniture, you name it, and i bet we got even more taxes!

And this was one of their many big failures.

Instead they said "We will hire more people." (poor lie 2 make more money)
Our social and health problems have increased A LOT since we got Reinfeldt.

These were all first put in place by the democratic socialists who actually thought about the REAL future (not merely a few years ahead like our current government -.-).

Those companies where owned by the state, yes, but in they were never RUN by the state, they had their own steering and now the goverment sold these shares to others who sought them.
Get your facts straight
Tellsonnel 2 weeks ago 35
@Tellsonnel
I never tried to describe the proposition, I said that "if Reinfeldt gets his way" (as in if it was all up to Reinfeldt), as well as comparing the basic idea of the proposition (in no way describing it) with another change that has already been made during Reinfeldt.
Next time please read before replying.
RQBBAN 2 weeks ago
@Tellsonnel True to some degree. This would make it alot harder to be able to retire at the current retirement age. So now it's easy to retire at 65, but it would be harder rienfeldt gets trough. It's not just an extension of work, it's a limitation of the minimum.
Get your facts straight.
JohnnMulder 5 days ago
@Tellsonnel Thats wrong. It will actually be harder to retire at 65. Its never just for "those who want to" because it always drags everyone else down with it.
gulbirk 1 day ago
@Tellsonnel you should get you facts straight, people like Reinfeldt (with big earnings) will have the ability to make that choice.. not "ordinary" hard-working people. THEY will work until they're underground. This is just a way to abrogate retirement plans for people with low salaries.

RQBBAN 2 weeks ago
@RQBBAN That is försäkringskassan fucking up and not Reinfeldt, you could probably take it to court. More than half of people borned now will live to 100, if they only work untill their 65 that is only about 40 years of their life. The other 60 years they would live of tax money. Child support, pension etc... Ofc people are going to have to work longer the older we become as a whole. And as for the girl with a tumor, Reinfeldt isn't evil, it's obviouslt a mistake by försäkringskassan.
FailARN100 2 weeks ago
@FailARN100
RQBBAN 2 weeks ago
@FailARN100
and also that IF in the future someone is to decide wether or not someone else closing up to pension is able to work, a doctors word should bear more weight than it does today. I do not trust bureaucrats to make medical decisions as you have surely noticed by now ;)

@RQBBAN Never vote for the capitalist political parties. Social democrats or SD.

But let's not pretend that the other main parties are any better. There is no truth on either the left or the right.

Bassen97 1 month ago

@TheCborg

Potatix 1 month ago 2
@TheCborg Well sweden is a social-democratic country, which is a sub-genere of socialism, making sweden a socialist country.

Sweden is fine for 2 reasons..
1) They stole all the Jew gold after the holocaust. Gold is up right now.
2) They bring in Arabs to do all the shit work in the country but now they have a shitton of Arabs there so they are fucked. Kinda like California except with Muslims instead of Mexicans.
packinwood2009 1 month ago
@packinwood2009 1) That's just fabricated. 2) They come by themselves, and most of them are quite wealthy. You think it's the poor ones that can afford to escape wars across a whole continent? Low educated swedes do the grunt work.
