@jpac811 one engine spins faster and is built partly for speed and partly work (titan). The other spins at around 3,000 rpm max and is made for all work. that is why it won. That is a fast titan though, sweet truck. Also the cummins engine weighs 1/2 ton all by itself

If you do a pull off with a cummins attach the chain/rope directly to the frame of that nissan. Even then the nissan might end up a few inches longer, but at least you won't be trying to re-attach bumpers, axels etc. lol

@MOHFpro90 just thought i'd let you know they only started putting dpf's in 2007.5 6.7l cummins. The dodge in this video is about a 2003-2005ish which has the 5.9l which is stated in the video. My cummins is a 2007.5 which i removed the dpf and it does smoke pretty good with my edge juice with attitude.
@jpac811 Crazy larry tunes are great they discontinued them though, theyre known to shorten the life of your truck. but yah man DPFs came with the 07.5 6.7ls. that isnt a 6.7 so no DPF on that truck. I like the Titan tho, there known to be pretty quick. does the whine of the supercharger ever get annoying?

@Cbagpipes It ran a 14.33@92.6MPH. Its slow but it weighs 6300lbs which is over 1000lbs more than a stock titan so not too bad I guess. Gears, Cams, and Uprev is coming soon.
Well it's not really fair to compare.. A low torque turbo diesels to a Gas power super charger.. like a 300hp car to a 300hp big rig. the cars way faster but the truck pulls 200 times as much. ( not knocking diesels )

They shine with a shitload of trailer behind them. Put 3 or 4 hundered thousand miles on that Nissan & see how well it pulls compaired to a Dodge CTD with the same mileage.
@papabugs71 why do people want to pull trailers that weight 3 times as much as there truck does if you had to pull trailers thru the mountains like i do then you wouldn't want to pull that much weight with something that small. My motto pull the same weight trailer with a smiliar weight vehicle. Trust me in the hills trailer brakes aren't all that counts.
@TitanGuy22 I didn't say anything about drag racing. The Cummins is built to pull, not to race stoplight to stoplight. Put a heavy ass load of 18k lbs. behind each truck, run them up a 6% grade & watch the CTD walk all over the winded Nissan. If that's not enough, put 500k miles on each truck, come back & see which one still has balls.
@trttr125 ha no man they arent. I wish they were the fastest but they havent been around long enough to get the aftermarket support to make them as fast as the domestics. There has only been 2 or 3 Titans to hit 12s. There are a crap load of domestics doing a lot better. Remember I own a titan but sad to say they arent the fastest around.
@jpac811 yeah i respect what you say but i have driven all the different trucks stock. I have driven silverados,rams, frontiers, f150s, f250s, f350s, rangers. But the fastest stock truck with the best acceleration and speed has to be the titan by far
@trttr125 Yeah it feels fast cuz of the low end torque and good powerband but now Titans are not at the top. Toyota, Chevy/GMC and Dodge trucks are faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile time stock than stock Titans but its because we have been using the same powertrain since '04 with no updates. Toyota has more hp and torque so does the new Hemi. Chevy/ GMC needed to use the 6.2L to get ahead in the game. Supposedly the 2014 Titan will have over 400hp and around 420lb-ft so we will see how it does.
Jpac is right domestics have so many aftermarket options minus charger and cams I'm maxed out on bolt ons. Titans are pretty fast until the domestics start getting into the heavy mods. My next truck will be a chevy though. Aluminum block 6.0 blown will be too fun :-P
@Ryno687 I totally agree with you man. Theres a guy on here that has a turbo titan running 12s but there are many more domestics doing faster times cause of the aftermarket support. I love my truck but I will never say its the fastest or the best. Just quick enough for me and good looking in my opinion.

This Titan might be hooked up pretty nice but even if it was not hooked up it would still Out live any American Truck. Also, I was unaware that trucks made in Canton Mississippi were considered import ricers. Nissan Northa America employs over 13,000 individuals and has an annual revenue of nearly 6 billion, most of which stays in the American economy.

And all the people saying to put 10000 or 20000 lbs behind it....of course titan would loose, its a light duty truck. Might as well put 10000 behind a 350z. Nissan used to have plans to make a heavy duty one but they canceled them. Not sure about Nissan diesels either (if they even have them). I just wish i could get a GTR Skyline. Im not even gonna mod my truck. Will wait till i get a car

@Cbagpipes It ran a 14.33@92.6MPH. Its slow but it weighs 6300lbs which is over 1000lbs more than a stock titan so not too bad I guess. Gears, Cams, and Uprev is coming soon.

Well it's not really fair to compare.. A low torque turbo diesels to a Gas power super charger.. like a 300hp car to a 300hp big rig. the cars way faster but the truck pulls 200 times as much. ( not knocking diesels )
My buds got a 89 Cherokee jeep that he dumped a diesel into and it's insane fast and climbs like a tank.

My friends Cherokee has a diesel out of a 74' chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 truck. 5.9L ( I think )

Ummm no.. the cummins didn't even blow smoke when your buddy or who ever he was tried to boost launch it.. and the cummins never once blew any black smoke when he was accelerating. Sorry but it was a stock tune.. been around and owned way too many Common Rail cummins so I know what I'm talkin about! Not knocking the 5.6 Titan it's quick but it won't hold it's own supercharged or turbo'd to a tuned CR Cummins..

@geedunk13 Please. With that much weight the Nissan will be winded by the time it hits 2nd gear. These Dodge trucks were never made to race stoplight to stoplight. They shine with a shitload of trailer behind them. Put 3 or 4 hundered thousand miles on that Nissan & see how well it pulls compaired to a Dodge CTD with the same mileage.

My motto pull the same weight trailer with a smiliar weight vehicle. Trust me in the hills trailer brakes aren't all that counts.

Put a heavy ass load of 18k lbs. behind each truck, run them up a 6% grade & watch the CTD walk all over the winded Nissan. If that's not enough, put 500k miles on each truck, come back & see which one still has balls.

@trttr125 ha no man they arent. I wish they were the fastest but they havent been around long enough to get the aftermarket support to make them as fast as the domestics. There has only been 2 or 3 Titans to hit 12s. There are a crap load of domestics doing a lot better. Remember I own a titan but sad to say they arent the fastest around.

@jpac811 yeah i respect what you say but i have driven all the different trucks stock. I have driven silverados,rams, frontiers, f150s, f250s, f350s, rangers. But the fastest stock truck with the best acceleration and speed has to be the titan by far

@trttr125 Yeah it feels fast cuz of the low end torque and good powerband but now Titans are not at the top. Toyota, Chevy/GMC and Dodge trucks are faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile time stock than stock Titans but its because we have been using the same powertrain since '04 with no updates. Toyota has more hp and torque so does the new Hemi. Chevy/ GMC needed to use the 6.2L to get ahead in the game. Supposedly the 2014 Titan will have over 400hp and around 420lb-ft so we will see how it does.

Jpac is right domestics have so many aftermarket options minus charger and cams I'm maxed out on bolt ons. Titans are pretty fast until the domestics start getting into the heavy mods. My next truck will be a chevy though. Aluminum block 6.0 blown will be too fun :-P

@Ryno687 I totally agree with you man. Theres a guy on here that has a turbo titan running 12s but there are many more domestics doing faster times cause of the aftermarket support. I love my truck but I will never say its the fastest or the best. Just quick enough for me and good looking in my opinion.
