  • « Thank you for your video and lyrics.

I was immediately amazed by the depth of the melody and stripped illustration that accompanies it.

It is part of my « White And Black Blues » favorites.

Composed there are more than 40 years, the magic of this song as not aged and it deserves to be know more .

  • ...this and a bottle of wine...

  • Grandma Mary picks a mean guitar too, you should check her out :-)

  • iT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS

  • Szemét disco-sok!!! Nem is tudjátok értékelni az ilyen számokat!!!

  • i got another version of this song and it is a litttle diffrent. a studio one lke this. should i uploaded as a video response?

  • Great song, great pictures.

  • so,so sorry, i accidentally hit the dislike button...i should have my finger chopped off.

  • @dryrubbin At least we now understand some of those mysterious dislikes elsewhere. Cheers for explaning!

  • thanks man

  • Peter Green-still the best..

  • Peter Green made so many great songs, as did Danny Kirwan. I hope they both are doing oké. I grew up with this music and man, it still moves me deep into my soul.

  • Saw them live at The Warehouse in New Orleans in 1970.One of the most memorable musical moments of my life.

  • Heavenly

  • Danny

    your channel

    packs

    quite a punch thanks

  • Who's the 1 idiot who didnt like this?

  • Wow, just fantastic tone.

  • not that I don't like Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie. But how the "F" did Fleetwood Mac turn from THIS to what it became.

  • @thegunslingergurl peter green left

  • @thegunslingergurl You got me-completely turned the focus away from their origins-surprised they didn't change the name of the band-kind of wished they had in a way.......this music is captivating and true blues-awesome

  • love this version, thanks man..ive turned most of these into mp3s and put them on my ipod.its really great..i think how my life would be if i had never heard pg..i dont know how i couldve lived.i cant even listen to good rap music anymore cause it wont get me high like this does..again thanks.,adam

  • Wonderful blues. Sounds smoother than the full version.

  • Eric who? Peter is the Green GOD!!!

  • OMG mthese paintings look like I use to look hahaha..when I felt like shit..

  • mmmmm mm this is the kind of bleus i like the most

  • there is a version, in which girls or a woman sings this song, its very blues-y, does someone know her name or any information about it?

    tnx

  • Still, to this day, NO one like Peter.

Privilege to have played with him MANY years ago.

  • still got the blues.....very good!

  • Peter Green was a true master of minor blues. Always loved the 3-guitar line-up of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac...... awesome blend!

    Thanks for sharing, Danny :-)

  • Great Peter Green ! Great Fleetwood Mac ! Great Blues !

  • does anyone else think peter has the best voice of the 60's blues revival, guitar playing aside, his tone of voice is so soulful, people say he sound like otis rush is it?

  • It's not just Peter Green's minimalist's approach, it's also his genius for dynamics. Dynamics fall on deaf ears on most rock, and pop songwriters, but Peter Green understood the impact of touch. This is what made Pete Townshend, and the Who stand alone from the the c*ck rock bands such as Led Zeppelin, and The Stones. Listen to "If You Let Me Love You" from Boston Tea Party Vol. 3. It's on Youtube. This is why Peter Green is respected today.

  • TO THIS !!!!!!!

  • Just perfect!

  • It doesnt get any better than Peter Green and FM

  • MorroccoM13 - Couldn't agree more. PG had something that's really missing in many guitarists. I think it's called "timing" & "deftness of touch". He makes things come alive. Just out of this world

  • All of Peter's slow blues song do "soothe" the soul as a good blues song should do. His guitar playing and vocals whether minor, major, 1-4-5, 1-2-5-4 or whatever chord progression, he was a just such a master at it at such a young age. This dude gets it and has got it big time.

  • Superb...!!!

  • this is brilliant music when u r down in the dumps like i am tonight :((

  • @waylo4526 Oh no please dont be sad. You have something very nice to look forward to.

I love F M. Best blues band ever.

  • Full of Feeling! Very effective, unusual and moving!

    Love It!

  • We need more stars- 5 is not enough! Totally brilliant!

Superb singing and guitar- and notice the incredible bass and drums- the band can drop to almost playing nothing, but the music still holds you rivetted. A classic performance.

And Peter Green was the best British blues singer of the 60's, as well as the best guitarist.

  • Green had a knack for doing this. Someday a label will release a 2-CD set of his minimalist songs and market him as a singer-songwriter.

    For further exploration:

    Without You

    Love That Burns

Out of Reach (A Hard Road)

    Evil Woman (A Hard Road)

  • @Nosore Minimalist! I will use that often to describe Peter's playing! My fave guitarist. But, he did not play on "Without You"...that was Danny Kirwan all the way. And, one of the best songs Danny ever recorded...blues in a cave...

  • Man, I love this. This IS the Blues. Period.

  • Correction: This IS Blues Music. Period.

  • aaaahhhhh what i would do to have fleetwood mac, jimmi hendrix, bob marley, stevie wonder, peter frampton and similar artists back to bring the heart and soul of the people back into the world.

  • Best!!!!!!

  • Excellent!!!

    Grandma Mary

  • -Thanks

  • makes me cry... its so rich

  • Finest British blues singing and guitar of all time!! 5* thanks Danny Kirwan!!

  • @daviemcf That's Peter Green's singing and playing, but you're in the right ballpark, mate!

  • @obbor4 I know it's Peter mate!

  • One of the best songs by one of the finest blues artists EVER. So much feeling in the vocals and the guitar fills between them. Awesome!!!!!!

  • muchas gracias ... esto es impresionante

    encanta 5 +

    Gazza

  • Second visit for me DK

    Keep the Faith

  • absolutely awesome

  • oh my my pure class !

  • all peter green fans....there's got to be some vintage late sixties footage of him somewhere besides this paltry amount we have to settle for on youtube! where is it???

  • So glad I can still find Green and Kirwan on the tube! THANK YOU!

  • That Les Paul sounds great, matter of fact Ive put an out of phase pot and turned my neck pickup arround. Just because of this Paul.

    Danny, Thanks for the post.

  • what lp is this exact version from? I have to get it...

  • This version is from the BBC sessions I believe

  • .....or from the original album,"Fleetwood Mac" from 60's with dustbin on front cover.

  • There are Blues ballads, then there are Peter Green blues ballads...

  • Nicely done.

  • WOW Excuse me Kirwin, i thought this one was Stoffe's....sincere apologies. Thank YOU for uploading although im sure i have it somewhere.

This is definitely one of my top 3 on this 2 CD set.

  • One of my favorites. It's insane how good the interplay between McVie, Fleetwood and Green is.. Green couldn't have a better rhythm section!

  • Nice one Stoffe for uploading these BBC sessions, i miss them, lost them 1 year ago. *cries*

how about 'Blues With A Feeling' on there? Immense track.

This track itself helped me become a better guitar player and also plunged me into a pit of depression but hey fuck it! haha.
