  • How would you handle a hip replacement on a 91 year old? I would imagine that you would have to take into account the client's age and not perform any type of friction.

  • Thanks for the reply! I think I will have to do some more research into how her hips were replaced, what the structures holding the femur into place are made of, etc. Definitely focus on cross-joint muscles for now and look into joint play/mobs later once we know what's going on in there. One of our teachers is a chiro, so we'll ask her this week. If I remember, I'll post a reply here with any info she gives us.
