Cobains scream was more forced the guy had chronic bronchitis and other lung/throat problems which required him to have to drink a full bottle of cough syrup just so he could perform. During the touring for Neon Ballroom & Diorama thats when he screamed the most live aka 99-03 when he was 19-23 yrs of age. Daniel has written some deep meainingful lyrics that have helped alot of people out including myself. Tracks like Across The Night, Emotion Sickness, Ana's Song etc deal with important issues. Kurt also wrote some epic lyrics and raised awareness about important shit like sexism, racism, homophobia etc. They are/were both great musicians who represented great things.

Daniel is just too much like a girl himself :) And I say all of this in no offense I love daniel best singing voice ive ever layed ears on and I love his scream, song writing, opinions, and guitar playing. His riffs are the best rock out and relaxing riffs going

I have a weird feeling, if someone for the current generation (1987-1996) showed up who was like daniel johns, and came and did punk, grunge, metal, and emotional stuff (I'm thinking miss you love -ish) they'd be a hit, and kick like every artist's butt who's out there today.
