  • this is one of those movies where i have to force myself not to watch it over and over again so it won't become blasé. i have to have people physically restrain me when i try to listen to "llorando" out of context... this is one of my all time favorite films. it's the only movie i can think of where i actually laughed, cried, was scared shitless, and aroused. lots and lots of aroused. :P

  • Sometime you don't understand certain things but you still love them & would want to be with them forever, guess Mulholland Drive would be an epitome of it. I have first seen this film in 2001 & have been seeing it since then. Everytime i see it i discover something new & fall in love with it over & over again. Mr. Lynch, Thank You for giving such a film to us.

  • David Lynch asserts there are no "loose ends" in this movie, and that it, of itself, tells a complete story. He even gives hints as to the story's secrets (Wikipedia it). I can buy that for all the interactions between Diane / Betty and Rita / Camilla, but I'm still confused about the the perspective of scenes without them (e.g., the Coyboy scene). Is that part of a dream, or reality?

In my top 10; top 5 actually.

  • @aardvarksrock the cowboy scene, castigliani brothers...all that is part of diane's dream...do you know when you see something in your daily life, even if its for a breef moment, and at night you dream a whole story about that thing that has nothing to do with you? that's the same thing in the movie

  • 2:02

anyone else find the parallel to the actual movie here amusing?

  • I love how meticulous he is about the scene on the stairs. The looks, the little smiles, when to focus on the hands. It's just a perfect scene. Beautifully tragic.

  • 1:04 I wonder if the coffee in that paper cup was as black as the night on a moonless night!

  • This is the equivalent of watching Picasso or Leonardo Da Vinci painting a picture. I think history may eventually record David Lynch as the greatest writer /director of all time..

  • i am so happy can see that making of

  • Great movie!!! I watch? it twice here: mp3videohub {dot} com

  • David Lynch is awesome! Love this movie!

  • Wow David Lynch is very very professional

  • I live in the USA, and my DVD version doesn't have this making-of. It only has the theatrical trailer and cast/crew notes.

  • o i am so happy can see that making of

  • agreed unbelievable movie i try to get my friends to see it and they wont

    :(

  • Joefonzgoldenarms ,

    I hear what you're saying.

I've tried too, with no luck!

I say, just be happy you're one of the ones that's open to it and gets to revel in the reward.

An incredible experience for those that tread off the common path....

  • well put

  • unfortunately this movie is not for everyone ..but those of us who love it..its like a drug that stays in your head and haunts you.

  • @aicfan85 I use this movie as a test to determine whether the person I am taking to is a soulless husk or a human being. Most are soulless husks.

  • It is annoying to hear people say this movie makes no sense and that they hated it, but I wouldn't define these people as being soulless. To me, it's more about whether people can appreciate atmosphere, intriguing visuals, and audio without needing to hang on to some easily accessible plot. But, those people might just find other film elements more important than atmosphere, etc. I know that if I don't like an actor, or the acting, or the situations, that can turn me away from watching....

  • @aicfan85

it's for anyone that allows it to be.

  • Just buy the DVD!

You won't regret it, i can swear!

  • is this documentry on the DVD?

  • Wow. Ussualy "behind the scenes" material ruins whole magic illusion of movie, but not in this case! So much passion, creativity, emotions.

    It's very thoughtful movie,masterpiece.

  • thanks for this but where's part 1?

  • they took down part 1&3...

  • Fortunately I saved all 3 parts for myself. Weird how they take down 1 & 3, and not 2. Copywrite reasons? Something similar happened to me awhile back.

I don't have the French DVD, but I recently bought the Region 2 Mulholland Drive Special Edition from Amazon UK.

  • @Ikchu Oh nooo :(

  • Thanks for this, it's great to see Angelo Badass on the set and to see the ladies fawning over Lynch. It's weird how he manages to charm them, you can see it in their eyes that they're mesmerised by him, he must be almost as charming as me.

  • This is a great movie, and as I said before, David Lynch is a genius! I wish I have his vision and creativity!

  • You must see this wonderful movie!

Shame on you if you don't!

I swear you will never forget it!

  • is it on youtube?

  • just buy the DVD, you won't regret it, i swear!

  • I've never seen a movie as beautifull and artistic as this. I feel bad for people that can't see the magic of this movie. It really arouses the senses after watching the whole thing.
