Lewis bradley was shortlisted to play Billy Elliot in the movie, he came pretty close. I also saw him as fiyero in wicked, he was pretty good. Ive seen lee twice and lewis once and i gotta say Lewis's performance was on par, if not better, than Lee's.

This performance showed no emotion. In the musical "blood brothers" this is the scene where the mother is faced with both her son's deaths. Tragic, heartbreaking. The way they're singing it, it's more like "no Lewis, you cannot have that cupcake", it's just not the same level of emotion.

@guygp, the song is about a mother singing, after she saw her sons (twins) die by saying "Its not true" - she doesn't want to believe it happened. And the marilyn monroe stuff is just coz they play was written in that time when she was around and she was, how people say, an sex icon at that point in time :)

Rob was not very good in my opinion on this song. He sounds flat and almost lifeless. This song you get from it what you put in and he didn't really put any emotion into it. Rob was my favourite, and I'm really sad that he had to go. He's not Joseph, but definitely one of the best in terms of overall talent. (Lee was right for the part, even though I liked Rob and Ben better).

What irritates me though is how Andrew Lloyd Webber avoids giving a reason why he chose to send home Rob even after Lewis messing it up so badly.

Hehe i get you now, i just went to see it in the westend and i saw stephen playing mickey he's the best by far :) And he's an aldut, i still think that in like a play that didn't have that high standard actors they should try a 15 year old but the westend was frigging briiiiillliiiaannntt :) lol, i was in the stalls and right at the end when they both get shot you could see the police men come either side, i knew what was gonna happen but when the guns went off i nearly screamed lol.
