@brodybryce you are a genuine dumbass. He had a fainting spell. It takes a while to recover from a faint.and you can't hit your head THAT hard when your a goalie unless you get checked.I know this, I used to BE a goalie.
Wow, that's just...so very freaky. Nobody ever ever wants to see that. There's just..no words to descibe that feeling of seeing something like that happen.
@starfire1020 kinda but the real irony would b like "new scientific study find that golies have the best overall heath out of any other athlete!!" or something like that but good find any way
I have a condition where I drop like a rock if I hear certain conversation this seems very similar given the way he indicated to the bench he was about to go down and the situation of being in a highly unusual situation for the first time in a long time. The amount of time he was down scared the heck out of me. If it's anything like what I have he is perfectly fine right now and although it might happen again theres no reason to be concearned.
That is just horrible... Reminds mee too much of when it happened to Jiri Fischer. I hope he recovers and plays again. Would hate to see him stop playing the game he loves at such a young age.
@okpapereat it cant be heart because they do physical exams if he failed he wouldn't be playing. Its either stress (could be cuz he sucks) or something
@AirRaider56 Don't speak if you're an idiot and don't know what you're talking about. It very easily could be his heart, in fact it's most likely. Athletes believed to be in good health die from heart issues quite often, although you see it more in Soccer. Stress doesn't render you unconscious for half an hour. Lack of proper blood flow to the brain does.
@AirRaider56 Remember the Detroit player who went into cardiac arrest after getting off the ice a few years ago? That went undetected as well. Juri something. Rhythm abnormalities can be spontaneous, and deadly. Even in otherwise normal hearts, it's an electrical problem.
@Andrewz2121 Oh don't be naive, i would not want pavelec on my team if he has health condition either he the doctors get him treated and let him stay if he's good.
IF he had a concussion the day before, why the hell would the coach put him in net the day later?
allghilliedup21 1 month ago
@allghilliedup21 Because players like to play hockey game and often conceal concussion-like symptoms from their coaches.

@xwavestr "It was determined after testing by doctors that the cause of his collapse was neurocardiogenic syncope, a type of fainting spell"
^ That's the official health report on him. It wasn't from a concussion, though it did lead to one.

@van1980 Like i said he passed the physical exam letting him play, it wouldn't be his heart unless it changed right that day.
But, as we all know now it was a concussion somehow
