Great video bluedolphingirl. Please pass on a message to Specialist Goodman - thank you. This goes to anyone that has or is serving their nation and to their families as well.
Ignore those that cannot or will not understand the words of Lt. Gen. Hal Moore, US Army (Ret.):
@stevil1300 Thank you so much! I will most definitely pass the message on to him. He is now out of the military safe and sound. Thank you so much for your advice as well. I totally agree with your last statement. War is a terrible thing and we shouldn't love war itself, but we DO love those who serve and pray they all come home safe.
@jimanHK in iraq it was freedom for iraqis from a despot dictator. in afganistan it is freedom for afgani women and children from the tyranny and oppression of the talliban. also the freedom for all of the western world against the incursions of islamic fundamentalism and hatred.
the west, and yes, that includes bankers, owes all of the soldiers who were/are there a great debt of gratitude.
we must also remember the suffering of the innocents.
I want to attend the US MARINE CORE but i remember my teacher that is a Veteran, once told me i was crazy for thinking that to focuse my mind on somthing else, somthing positive and not somthing that will haunt me forever, i wonder why he told me that....?
@MLGKLAN It is never a wrong to serve in a time of great need. Extract battle at Pozieres 1916
I was buried twice and thrown down several times buried with dead and dying. The ground was covered with bodies in all stages of decay and mutilation, and I would, after. struggling free from the earth, pick up a body by me to try to lift him out with me, and find him a decayed corpse. I pulled a head off was covered with blood. The horror was indescribable. Any clearer to you now
@MLGKLAN did you see the picture at 0:45...I think I can guess what your teacher said....do you think you can live on the conscience images of innocent children who died without being able to defend themselves? they don't even know what is going on around them..
kony9993: by the way, yes I have used violence on the behalf of others and laid my life and the lives of those in my command at risk for people i have never met, could there possibly be a greater calling?
kony9993: Despite your feelings, when it is you who needs saving from the wolves, it will be us, the sheepdogs who will be there , you need not like us, cherish us, you may curse us and you may turn your back on us, be we the faithful will be there none the less, it is what we are, we sacrifice, we serve and when the lord asks who will go we will say send me lord, i will go , I know you don't understand, it is your nature to not accept life as is, just know we are and will be the protectors

How you even can think about tributing the army or more exactly every form of violence ?!
Nationalism equals to the idiocy . I know that it's hard to accept it for some nations, but try to omit what you are educated as a dogma for long years. What is the purpose of humanity ?
@kony9993 I tribute the army because of all the things they go through. War is a terrible thing, but sometimes it must be done to protect freedom. My husband is in the military and I have helped him through horrible things. It takes a strong person to go through what they do. He is not proud of it, but I am proud he made it through and my heart breaks for those who lost their lives. That is why I created this video.
@kony9993 it is a tribute to all who suffer such loss. both those from ailed nations and those in occupied lands. there is many diffident languages and cultures out there that separateness us, pain and suffering are universal. its a sad tribal thing when a soldier or civilian dies, its worse when we don't pay homage to there memory
@kony9993 Please, please, hold up a sign saying "Dont protect me from evil. All you valiant men and women who put your lives on the line everyday, I dont want your help." All you Globalist are evil incarnate. I have seen with my own eyes the "Enlightenment" of the UN, and as for me I'll stick with my "dogma". If you are in the U.S., do us a favor and get out, if you are not, DO NOT ever come here. Pacifists are parasites. They live off of society but give nothing in return. goodbye good riddance
@kony9993 Well regardless some of these soldiers do risk their lives to protect innocent people. If they are being misled into furthering the interests of some oil company or the strategic/economic interests of a nation then that is the fault of our political leaders, not every soldier who may or may not enlist with good intentions. I also believe nationalism = idiocy but cant the same be said for guilt by association?
@JPeisher Thank you for letting me know. What we want to accomplish by this video is that a lot people believe that the military just loves causing trouble and war. That's not the case. My husband is in the National Guard and he absolutely HATES innocent people getting killed. We want to show that although tyranny must be fought, the price is dear and not a casual thing.
@JPeisher I think you're missing the entire point of this video. The Armed Services are not -only- comprised of the US Navy. This video, I believe, is for everyone, civilian and those who Serve, all over the world, who protect and serve the interests of freedom and life. If I'm far off base on this, oh well... that is how I see it. And you are just nitpicking something to be nitpicking it. Go comment somewhere else, please. ^^

Short lived a protectors life can be. But the protector is forever remembered by those he protected at the risk of his own life.
