Their dancing isn't exciting. I don't think they like the music very much. You should see this same set of couples at the German Open.

Latin and ballroom competition dancing is a every personal because every one prefers different styles i think that the judges choose couple s that stick together at this level so once you have the top position its very hard for another couple to beat you i think that it should be more judged on the performance of each competition but i think the judges already know in their minds who they want in the final and who they want to win this should be changed

@dancedance007uk I could tell you what happened here this side of the Atlantic Ocean. One time long time ago, a dancer told me that he was told if he and his partner did not go to the Judge's dance weekend, they're better not to expect to win in the next competition. YouTube Dancewu net

@AceyBlade What do you mean by "turn amateur"? Did you mean that he has just recently entered in the adult circuit? That would be the case. They will probably dance as Amateurs for a few more years since dancing Pro require a completely different type of presentation.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. =)

They will dance probably five or so years in amateurs depending how fast they can get to the title. Then they will turn professional and dance in the IPDSC, where there is no distinct presentation between amateurs and professionals.

Hmmmm. Okay. @12stel while you and I share the same taste, we both have to concede that Yulia and RIccardo need to step it up. THey've just redone their routines which is great. But right now Michael and Joanna are the better couple. I think Yulia is better than Joanna and Riccardo is better than Michael but together they need a bigger dynamic to beat Michael and Joanna.

For the love of the Ballroom Latin dance gods! This music is crappy even by Blackpool standards...so what is next - a jazz piece masquerading as samba? Maybe this piece is all authentic and brazilian, but how the heck do you put energy into this crap when the fundamental percussions are being overshadowed by all the flutes, clarinets, and what have you.

@gshankaran I find this music light and elegant. It does not distract you from the dancing. Dancing under this music will expose all the flaws in your dancing :D. Also, this piece has been the Blackpool Final Samba piece for like 3 years in a row now. I think that's worth complaining about instead.
