@pradahlife and manhajalsalaf, dear ikhwa wa ukhtee, one observation, before one performs an act (expecting reward from Allah azza wa jall, ) isn't it better for one to have a precedent from our salafus-saalih? As a corrollary, the onus on presenting the proof for its performance falls on the claimant, ie, the one who says its permitted as opposed to the one who says there is no evidence for it. @pradahlife Yes there is. Sheikh Saleh al-Fawzan was asked this question 4 months ago and he said its bid'ah. I will upload this particular clip where he stated the latter insh'Allah in the near future. In the meantime I'll send u the link where u can watch it in Arabic.
