  • I love The Who and The Beatles and Zeppelin... Uh-oh.

  • I've stopped listening to this crap a few years ago... Now I just only like calm music like Classical, Gregorian Chant, some Jazz.

  • @adventurer00821 anda la puta q te pario,,cagonnnnnnnn

  • Thank You for this truthful and deep research and documentary! Oh God, let these deceived people see Your truth and obey it. You will come soon. I believe it because of all the signs happening in this world. Thank You very much for this documentary!

  • the rolling stones suck.

  • night prowler is about a guy sneaking into his girlfriends house while her parents were asleep. The main reason ramirez did those acts is because he was a drug addict and saw his own brother kill a man in front of him talk about well researched facts(!)

  • My, my, for someone who ostensibly loves the "truth" of Scripture so much, Eric just can't avoid misrepresenting facts (or making them up entirely) in the course of this film. He claims "the vehicle" for Tommy Sullivan's juvenile interest in the occult, was "heavy metal rock and roll," but this is entirely false. The interest began with a comparative religion assignment he was given, at the Catholic school he attended. Once again, misinformation left and right from this guy lol

  • @WilliamBlackWolf

dude, you really sound like a satanic apologist, just sayin!

  • @DaKo3459 Why? Because I pointed out just a handful of the factual gaffes presented in this silly film? Actually, I'm a Catholic, and I used to engage in Catholic Apologetics on a regular basis. But I'm also a musician, and a former Fundamentalist Protestant who had to endure listening to such inane attacks on Rock music and virtually every other facet of artistic expression. The truth is the truth, people like Eric Holmberg are religious xenophobes in it for the money.

  • @WilliamBlackWolf

Well, this vids sound very logical, I mean common, 90% of rock/metal music are about how life sucks. Why is that? Is it because life really sucks or do they just want to make everybody believe that? I myself was listening almost for my entire life rock and metal music and i have to say that it didn't make me feel good i was depressed for no reason.

  • @DaKo3459 Really? What objective basis do you have for that assertion? In what way are 90% of the Beatles' catalogue "about how life sucks?" Or of Led Zeppelin's? Or the Bee Gees? Or the Stone Roses? etc. It's simply not true. Yes, there are many bands whose output consists mainly of songs which discuss certain unfortunate realities of human existence which are less than rosey - but that's life. For as much happiness and bliss as there is in the world, there's rather a lot of sadness as well.

  • @WilliamBlackWolf

I would recommend you to watch the video series on YouTube called "Satanism in HipHop", very interesting, it's about the music industry today! Because these videos here are good but a little bit outdated.

  • @DaKo3459 Watch them to what end, exactly? As I said, I've been to Oz and behind the curtain; I'm quite familiar with the vapid criticisms expressed in this and other such videos and books. As to them being "very logical" in your estimation, I would fail to see how that's the case, considering they're filled (as I have pointed out) with any number of misrepresentations and nonfactual statements, by way of seeking "divine" authority for one's own personal bias. Tomfoolery at its finest.

  • Marc Bolan died in a car crash, how exactly does that point to the 'prince of death'?

  • fuck you Eric Holmberg you nazi piece of shit

  • @MojeImeNijeBitno Wow you speak such wisdom, you convinced me to listen to this trash music again.

  • Can u believe someone actually married Richard Remirez?

  • just one question

how can someone be such a fool and say that in the last few decades of the 20th century happend some of the most brutual and violent acts imaginable?

So just to name some of the things which happend before:WW2 WW1 Thirty Years War, not to forget all of the crusades. And if we believe the words in the bible, the thora or the Koran, then there was already murder before the birth of Jesus Christ. So actually nothing changed, did it?

  • Comment removed

  • Serial killers have a mental issue that contradicts the part of their brain that targets guilt, Heavy metal doesn't trigger it, it just seems like the most relevant music to them, there already fucked in the head lol

  • satan is not real. the end.

  • @zachhobbs satanism is not real, but to a person of christian faith, satan is a very real concept.

  • @RayWillJohnson - Au contraire, Satanism is quite real, and evidence suggests that it has penetrated the highest levels of our government, business, and even religious authorities (including, ironically, those associated with Christianity). Look up Satanic Ritual Abuse victims/survivors, retired FBI agent Ted Gunderson, and the documentary film Conspiracy of Silence

  • @bitterbonker Im sure some idiots out there actually practiced Satanism, but its a joke, a religion completely made up by the christian church to destroy paganism.

You can go through all the conspiracies, but none of them have enough evidence to be completely true, there are conspiracies that aliens are kept at area 51, there are also conspiracies that all the UFO's in sightings were made by the US government on design plans by the NAZI party.

  • @RayWillJohnson - The Catholic church was used as a vehicle to persecute both pagans AND christians. You can downplay or ignore the evidence I provided if you want, but in the 1980s literally thousands of survivors of SRA came forward, independently, with remarkably similar stories. This is connected to the CIA's MKULTRA program; which, incidentally, came from Project Paperclip, where Nazi scientists (including ones that built the antigravity saucer crafts you mentioned) were brought to the US

  • @RayWillJohnson P.S.- "Ritual abuse is a serious and growing problem in our community and our nation... Despite detailed evidence of ritual abuse coming from child victims and their families, from adult victims, and from the professionals working with them, and despite the remarkable consistency of these reports both nationally and internationally... There remains the mistaken belief that satanic and other cult activity is isolated and rare." (Los Angeles County Commission For Women, 1991)

  • this narrator practices self-mutilation with that stupid-ass haircut and porn-star moustache

  • @LesterMartin That mullet is laughable.

  • Alice Cooper's since been saved.

  • 2:42-2:58

    too soon, man.

  • "The punk music revolution made self-mutilation a pop phenomenon."

punk was the opposite of pop.

  • I think most people just don't want to see wats right in front of them. i think it is because there afraid of there sins that them do every single day me included. but at least im trying to live in the name of jesus christ now. MY EYES ARE NOW OPEN WAKE UP PEOPLE JUST LOOK AT THE WORLD AROULD YOU AND ASK URSELF WHY ALL THE HATE AND EVIL.

  • The exploding heads in the Zodiac Mindwarp clip were fantastic.

  • Are they sure Tommy's mother didn't beat/molest him?

  • Hail Hail Rock'n'Roll

  • Of course, let's take a lot of examples of people who commit deplorable crimes, and thread a commonality between them. What links them? Heavy metal. But wait! All probably drank soda! All probably knew women! All probably had access to cinema! All were, oh yeah, MENTALLY DISTURBED. So either that's the common thread, or Satan's only gonna really effect the mentally unstable.

  • @SpiritoftheEmperor

Yeah i think its correlations that are not really there, like the correlation between rape and the sell of ice creams.

Its just like Columbine, far religious right saw the music they listened to, scientologists saw the medicine one of the kids was on, liberals saw their love for violent video games and guns.

Look hard enough in any tragedy and you will find something you are against to be the reason

  • @SpiritoftheEmperor By that logic you could never form a criminal profile because we all have everything in common, breathing oxygen, being a carbon based life form, drinking soda, etc.. There is too much evidence here that this music mocks Christianity, not Islam, Hindu, or New Age and that death is a common theme. If someone killed their parents and then blamed Jesus people would be all over it, but when these musicians and fans admit that they are under an influence you explain it away.

  • I am AC/DCs biggest fan and wear a AC/DC shirt almost every day.. And there is absolutely nothing satanistisk of AC/DC. I get so angry when people say that they are Satanic!

  • Watch video again and again. Maybe you will see something new

  • Look at it this way:

What kind of morality does AC/DC speak of in their songs? Do they discuss making right, responsible choices, denying oneself to help others?

    Something to think about.

  • Eeh, I'm a huge AC/DC fan, and a devout anti-religious too, and even I can see the connotations in their stuff. Not all, but enough that THEY get pissed off.

  • If Christians would stop focusing on scripture and start focusing on being moral, they would be taken more seriously. Most Christians that I know are immoral, rude, judgemental people. Follow morality and treat your fellow humans with respect instead of spouting off scriptures from an ancient book that it not really revelent to our society today. I question who is really brainwashed. I don't think I am brainwashed either way. I stand in the center, observing evil on both ends....

  • The bible is full of violence and perversion--read it some time. Some of the worst violence in history has been between Christian sects, which has nothing to do with devil worship...they were worshippers of J.C.

  • "The spiritual realm is the higher reality. We are all profoundly affected by the Lord of which ever Kingdom we are apart of, weather we are aware of it or not."

Perfect true statement. I'm a put it on my H/P.

    Thanks.

  • How do the skeptics logically explain the Masking? It defies the abilities of the human and is clear and apparent to the highest degree.

Satan likes homosexuals because God/Jesus forbids homosexuality all throughout the bible.

  • ...I find it ironic how as they are talking about how AC/DC made that guy go out and kill people, I am wearing an AC/DC shirt. Yet, oddly enough, even though I'm a fan, I have no desire to go out and kill people.

I think that guy was just crazy and using AC/DC as an excuse for what he did. It's not the band's fault, and people need to stop blaming the music industry for the stupid shit people do.

  • " I'm not saying that if you listen to heavy metal music the devil will make you kill your mom"

    Don't try to change video.

  • "Heavy Metal music closely related to rise of the use of 'Jenkem', a drug made out of the user's own feces." - Christian Mullet Dude

  • Jim Morrison??????...Now they really crossed the line -.-

  • The music industry is Satanic and is completely fraternal, its owned by masons,

It uses its lackys to subvert the gullible masses, as its well known that most people prefer to follow than think as individuals,

Social programming and Rock and Roll.

Just another brick in the wall

    at keeping society dumbed down,

if any prick cant read between the lines after seeing it spelled out in black and white, then they deserve whatevers coming to them,

  • ...but for some reasons, I just couldn't get those "Eddie" images out of my mind...murder, satanic, insanity, etc...

Coming from a religious Catholic family, mom and dad always prayed for all of us!

  • Being an art lover, I found the Iron Maiden albums "Iron Maiden" ('80) to "Piece of Mind" ('83) very creatived with fine airbrushing and oilpainting album cover artworks...and to this day, I still think Bruce Dickenson is the coolest lead vocalist ever...

  • I started having heavy interests in heavy metal music at fourteen in 1982 when I found an Iron Maiden album "Killer" in a dumpster while dumpster diving; like Tommy there, I was never into drugs or alcohol; but unlike Tommy, I never go out and commit one single slight crime...but a list of bad influences it had on me was very long...

  • Lol xD, It's funny that they put up a iron maiden album when the mayority of members are christian :P

  • There not because if they were then they wouldn't be a rock band for starters.

  • Religion and spirituality are too completely different things. Christianity, Islam, and judaism have been greatly used for evil and have doctrine that is very evil.

  • The crimes are a result of psychosis and other chemical imbalances and people suffering these diagnosis will often interpret any and all stimulus as validation for their delusions. Sirhan Sirhan (so nutty they named him twice) claimed at trial that his dog told him to kill.

Should people abstain from keeping pets?

According to the producers of this fun, Spinal Tap-like, epic documentaly challenged video, yes.

    NO PETS ALLOWED.

    And burn your guitars.

  • Elvis WAS a Christian so what he said at 2:45 didn't make sence

  • Elvis was a Christian poser you mean...

    Elvis and the devil watch

    watch?v=IGASOYtkNFg

Elvis used to read occult writings at his concerts so nice try.

  • sry, but i thot because he sang gospel he was Christian and tht he went to church

  • Bon Scott wasn't a devil worshipper. I would be pissed if he was related to me and I saw my bro on this video I tell you what..

  • not every metal song is satanic and not every christian is pure at heart.before man decides what is wrong or right he should look at the evidence.

  • and god dammit, are you suggesting that JIM MORRISON KILLED SOMEONE? REALLY?!?!?!?!

  • I think the clip they play is from either a movie or a story Morrison wrote. But what I've read from people who knew Morrison, I wouldn't be surprised if he told a reporter that story(when he was loaded) and made them think it actually happened. Supposedly that was just Jim, but he was the king of what he did, and no one has ever done it better.

  • Anyone who thinks AC/DC influences anyone to do anything other than drink some beer and yell lyrics at the top of their lungs while rocking out is fucking moronic.

  • "when i take the stage something takes over me...I become possessed" Angus Young.

ACDC is also the band that sings with pride Highway to Hell.

The devil offered Jesus all the kingdoms of this world - satan teaches his followers that he will rule the world in the end - you should know the Bible tells you otherwise.

Jesus is the KING of kings and LORD of lords and everything belongs to Him and is subject to Him.

Read the NT Jesus was rebuking demons out of possessed people left and right!

  • Highway to Hell isn't about hell.

  • well you should know if you judge others you yourself will be judged. these people in the video are who Christ died for even though they h8 him it was the same when he died everyone throwing stones when ALL are in sin even YOU. Christ has already won its people like you who go round throwing stones which give Satan even more fuel to carry on his temper tantrum use WAKE UP .

  • "The idea of a God who rewards or punishes his own creation with eternal damnation is a childish notion fit for feeble minds only." -Albert Einstein. The notion of exclusivity, inherent to Christianity, (i.e. that Jesus is the ONLY way) is a pernicious and ignorant doctrine. Wake up. Don't even try to speak for God. He's far greater than you can ever imagine.

  • Yes - God is far bigger than any finite mind can imagine - that's why we go by His Word instead of making stuff up.

  • If someone will go to hell simply because he doesn't believe in Jesus, then why need Satan go to all the trouble of getting them to kill people in these bizarre psychotic ways? And aren't they saved as soon as they repent anyway? Isn't this all kind of futile?

  • Yeah, I know. But metals been around for awhile. So have most "genres". Yeah, this is ridiculous and absurd. He 's so stupid that I really enjoy watching this freakshow. I would find him offensive if I didn't have sense of humour. Funny stuff.

  • Heavy metal died long ago. I think there are other pressing issues at the moment. but I love this. hahahaha. Hilarious.

  • Metal is still alive and well. I listen to it daily, as do my friends many others. There are some great new bands out there live Trivium. Thank you drive through. But this guy in this video is a moron, and I'm a Christian.

  • Why do these people freak out over rock. Hip hop's more of a danger. Rock is long dead. But that's OK. Everything that lives must die. These guy's should worry more about stuff like China taking over and turning them into godless communists. Or Taoists.

  • This vid was made in '89 before hip hop was very popular. Couldn't you tell from the guy's mullet? Christians like to demonize things they don't understand or that doesn't further their own agenda. Therefor, if the Christians don't agree with something, it's Satanic or heresy.

  • Yeah, Christians don't understand that what they demonize is indeed integral to thier whole mission. If they actually suceeded in stamping out "evil", they'd feel pretty damn bored. It would be like playing hockey with one team. Truely.... they don't want that. Actually, good can't exist without evil, otherwise, how can you call good "good". Relativity.

The mullet adds to the freakishness. This is so freaky that it wouldn't suprise me if it was recent.

  • If we talk metal Brother everything about metal is Satanic. Look at Slipknot or Pantera or Fear Factory. Thats not putting a label on some of these groups even the groups intetntionally make it known. Look at Ozfest. Its not a conspiracy dude its blantant endorsement of it. I dont think the groups care either people say they serve Satan because they'll admit it straight up and they are proud of it! You singing about 666 and and having Pentagrams on your CD covers usually indicate something.

  • Everything about metal is Satanic? Oh, please! The majority of the bands who sing about Satan or wear occult symbols do it to get attention. Worked on you didn't it? None of the bands you mentioned are even remotely Satanic. Metal has often been about rebellion, and who better to use as a symbol of rebellion than the devil? 99% of metal fans know this. If you believe everything about metal is Satanic, you're as brainwashed as this fundamentalist clown of a narrator.

  • Man Satanist are athiests at the ones that read the Book of Satan even if they worship him your right it is just the fictional concept of Him. Yah I have no disagreement with you there

  • JUst to clarify the groups I mentioned do not proclaim worship to Satan. Some will. They use the character of Satan as character that represents their attitudes and what they desire. We agree there right. Even if they dont beleive Satan exist they still promote him because of what he represents right? Any ways man I dont want to argue comments box to small. It it cant promote proper discussion with 500 words. We arent going to get anywhere soon.

  • Just because some of the groups dont worship him doesnt make rock n roll music right!

  • Im not saying it is right. Its not.

  • About Jim Morisson commiting murder:

Morrison's best-known but seldom seen cinematic endeavor is HWY: An American Pastoral Morrison financed the venture and formed his own production company in order to maintain complete control of the project. Paul Ferrara, Frank Lisciandro and Babe Hill assisted with the project. Morrison played the main character, a hitchhiker turned killer/car thief.

Way to use someone's voice of context. Slander is a very christian activity, right?

  • Apparently, they use it all the time.

  • Sonic Youth!!!! I love them haha. Sid Vicious- prophet of Satan! funny shit

  • Yes. Heavy Metal will be the end of the world one day.

  • Hip Hop is alot worse!

  • But yeah secular heavy metal is pretty bad!

  • I found out today that the beatles used black magic, forbidden knowledge and satanic rituals and satanic lyrics in most of their songs.

I've been manipulated by Satan for a long time now and I've had enough of it.

It's time to come out of the darkness and into the light.

  • amazing

  • Alice Cooper is a Christian, yet he attacks him.

  • hitler was a catholic lol

  • was, he became an athiest.

  • "Alice Cooper is a Christian"

    no he's not.

  • Judge not lest you be judged..

oh wait, I guess that doesn't apply to Xtians.

  • twist not scripture lest ye be like the devil. And nope it doesnt.

"The spiritual man makes judgment about all things, but he himself is not subject to any mans judgment"- 1 corinthians 2:15

  • How do you know that? Your comment is such an ignorant one! You can't look into a man's heart nor observe Alice Cooper in private to know if or not he has a relationship with God.

May i warn you to watch what you say. Fear God!

  • you dont have to look into a mans heart to know it, your heart isnt something you wear on your sleeve, your dressed in it!

  • That's a rather silly thing to think!

Not everyone dresses the same, esp amongst musicians.

  • im not talking about cloths. Your heart isnt something hidden away, your heart manifest itself in the things you are and do, its something inside outward. jesus told us you can know these things. and you need to judge it to expose it.

  • Not if a man repents you don't.

  • Remember, repent means to turn from your sin. It means you have decided to do a 180 degree turn.

  • Bro you wanna be careful that you don't fall into being religious, Alice Cooper is openly Christian and you can see that the guy is different. It's not up to you to decide if he is saved, that's up to God.

  • praise the lord if he is.

"It's not up to you to decide if he is saved, that's up to God."

    your a Charismatic?

  • It's the truth, it has little to do with my denomination. Man doesn't decide, God does.

  • Yes Alice Cooper is a Christian

    Look it up on wikipedia

  • And his father was a preacher too (I think)

  • he wasnt allways

  • It's strange that Alice Cooper is included given that he is a christian. Same goes for Megadeth, Dave Mustaine is a christian too.

  • They weren't Christians when this video was made, and the vast majority of their music is not Christian in nature.

  • There's no harm in Christians listening to their music though. Most of Megadeth's stuff

lyrically is about current events, what's wrong with that? And Alice Cooper's music esp the early stuff was about the choice that people have between good and evil... and not to pick evil! You've been misinformed i think.

Don't believe everything people tell you dude, God gave us a wonderful gift called discernment. I would say that 80% of the groups on here are pretty demonic though.

  • Well, if any song has something evil, dont listen to it. If a group changes, then its okay the listen the the latter music.

  • no there not. They bear no good fruit. Jesus said by its fruits you will know a tree, and there the axe lays at there roots.

  • That's a shortsighted comment if i may say so, how can making people more aware of current event's or telling people to examine good and evil and to choose good rather than evil be bad? It isn't so put the axe away! :-D

  • great videos. you people need to look at the big picture.i love rock music and am slowly learning what groups to avoid, but it is almost impossible to not find paganism, satanism, and the occult in any of it.this is not Christian propaganda, but a wake up call. GROW UP!!!! thanks and God bless.

  • Spot on dbytor. God bless you too and keep on searching with open eyes and mind.

  • youve also got to see that rock in roll is indeed steeped in Sex, Drugs, Rebellion, tons of other things like that, just cause i listen to the rolling stones doenst make me a satan worshipper, after all, above all, Christ knows where your heart is, and the fact is you can find Paganism in modern day Christianity as well, and as for what defines "satanism" i think its harder to figure out because quite frankly, just the IDEA of a "Satanic bible" is utter non-sense, as satan cannot right scripture

  • Also Blackie from W.A.S.P. was talking about a pyro accident that happened once and he said and I quote "If we were better musicians we wouldn't have to do all this shit", which I am sure he was referring to the gimmick of the band.

  • As I said before, you should be worried about Tila Tequila turning your daughters into whores, and not metal bands turning you into a satanist. If anything Metal has made me a very well ajusted person. I have never been to jail, I have no bastard young, I dont drink, and I dont do drugs. So it seems to me that music does not shape you into the person that you become. If that was the case I would be sacraficing babies and bathing in the blood. This is christian propaganda and nothing more.

  • This guy is so one-sided.He doesn't tell the full story of anything. THe people at the who concert died because they heard the band warming up and thought the concert had already started,Not the Whos fault but the fault of kids who were so anxious that common sence vacated their brain. If were going to blame music then we have to blame country for adultry, wife beatings and drinking. that don't seem to bother this guy in the video. Self mutilation has been aroung for thousands of years

  • This video wasnt made to give both sides. Its for ppl who want to see the negative side effects of rock music. If you dont agree than y do you care. go ahead and point out the good marilyn manson or alice cooper has brought. Lots of rock has profoundly negative effects on the phycological aspects of peoples lives. Not everyone, but there are many documented cases. I listen to rock music, and at times have felt this impact. There is no denying the research that has been done.

  • and also jim morrison never killed anyone. that doesnt sound like his voice unless he was drugged up at the time or he though he killed someone while he was on lsd. or maybe someone impersonated him. im gonna go with impersonation.

  • I believe it was really Jim Morrison but i think he was reading a story or poem he had written, thats what i've heard anyway. I think the filmmakers knew this but again this is a documentary and much like Michael Moore or other doc filmmakers they leave important info out to prove their point.

  • Plus, Jim was probably the best frontman of all time but he also was a very strange guy. The guy did enough crazy things in front of a crowd so you never know what he did when he was out in the desert by himself. I'm not saying he killed someone so don't flame and say that i did but my point is that you cannot say he never killed anyone all you can say is that he never got caught for killing someone. Which is true for almost anyone though not just Jim MOrrison.

  • sympathy for the devil is about a french book called "the master and margarita" that mick read and he took a couple of lines from it and made them a song cause he though it was a good idea. pete townshed is just explaining that the energy from the crowd gets him really excited and happy that he can play on a stage for people. most punk rockers just go crazy because they are so excited and want to get their energy out. the pentagram is just a cool logo. real life IS found in fun.

  • Aw, the death cult album cover has a mickey mouse skull is that why you catholics are mad at us?

  • 2:42 I bet if any of these ppl died at age 100 by dropping over from heart failure, these bloody christians would STILL say that Satan did it. (Oh, btw, most of those artists may have died from overdosing or asphyxiating, but Brian Jones just drowned in his fucking swimming pool! T.T)

3:46 "Eddie made me do it" XD Wow...I didn't know a CARTOON could make you do something.

4:00 o_O What's wrong with self mutilation? And the safety pin thing is just like getting a piercing. =P morons.

  • 5:57 T____T;; "The Number of the Beast" is about coming across a Satanic ritual; one part of the song goes "I must inform the lord"

6:27 Bon Scott is NOT wearing a pentagram. It's just a regular star. T.T morons...I remember in kindergarten, THAT was what stars looked like when we were taught to draw them.

7:08 Jim did not kill anyone. If that really was him talking, he sounds sorta out of it. So it was probably from a hallucination he had or it could've easily have been someone else talking.

  • 8:27-8:28 Ho-ly shit. o___o Is that seriously his room?! Damn...I want some of those posters...I LOVE Motley Crue! And I thinks I see Nikki Sixx on the wall. x3

8:37 Oooh! You can see Vince (blonde) and part of Nikki (left). =3 yum.

8:52 Kinda random...but does that remind anyone else of Chris Crocker?

  • it reminds me of Chris Crocker..

  • The first thing at the beginning: "Sympathy For The Devil" being performed at the 1969 free Stones concert and shown on the award-winning movie, "Gimme Shelter"...what the hell?! Allow me to explain. I'll try to put it in simple terms for the simple-minded people who believe this movie. Firstly, the song is about the human race; not Satan. The 'devil' in the song is actually the HUMAN RACE & all the horrible things that humans have done and how they've acted throughout history. (cont.)

  • Look up the lyrics, and perhaps it'll make more sense to you. Yes, Lucifer is named in there, but yes, Mick's still referring to the human race. Secondly, these people on this video are trying to mess with your fucking heads! Watch the "Gimme Shelter" movie sometime. The Stones perform "Sympathy For The Devil", THEN they perform "Under My Thumb" (which is about a woman who used to be in complete control over Mick, then the tables turned and it became vice versa; nothing satanic about it).(cont.)

  • It was after THAT song was performed that the guy was stabbed to death. These ppl just put the audio of "Sympathy For The Devil" over the clip of when "Under My Thumb" was being performed. But I need to explain something else. Back in the 60s when the Beatles and the Stones were big, they were practically equivelant to royalty; and ppl like to try to kill ppl of power, for some reason. The guy that was stabbed to death had been trying to get at Mick Jagger throughout the entire concert. (cont.)

  • The guy brought a gun & was about to shoot Mick, when a Hell's Angel (whom the Stones were using as security) stabbed the guy just in time. So, really, it had nothing to do with Satan. And you have to remember that drugs were being used alot at the concert, which can be seen in the movie. Any clearer now after that long explanation? (And I just absolutely LOVE what they did to Mick's singing at 0:30. T__T Nice little effect there, bastards. Really helps the scene.)

  • good job brothers , jesus is our king

  • praise the name of Jesus

  • Praise the gift of MUSIC!!

  • The statement @ 9:40 describes the whole of Congress.

  • There's many Christian rock and metal bands that have slam or moshpits! I've been in one myself!

  • in the Doors song, he was talking about the Rider's On the Storm song on what it was about, he didn't kill anyone, at least not that I know of by research, geez

wow like I said, out of context!

I have yet to see them discuss Stryper

  • lol "Eddie made me do it"

Why don't they take a listen or look at the lyrics of "Rime Of the Ancient Mariner"

Maiden isn't satanic, I mean wtf

  • i used to be so obsessed with Jim Morrison. I was seduced by his intellect and transparency and karisma. Now I see, he was an anti-christ, and he hated his father, who was successful. Rest in peace, Admiral Morrison, burn in hell, Jimbo.

  • I think we watched enough episodes of the Osbornes to not take Ozzie seriously.

  • Pete Townshed is a pediphile.

  • Couldn't help but grin at the mention of AC/DC. Lol, this rubbish is so hilarious! I can't believe people buy this shit! I'm not denouncing Christianity, although I personally don't believe in it. Hey, everything's possible, right? But I really think some people go overboard with this...I got bored and decided to watch this through, and I've done nothing but gawk at this thing. I'm an atheist, so I've never been exposed to this kind of brainwashing...I pity all that believe this shit.

  • Yeah...that's the problem with the country today--rock music!

    Not corrupt governments.

    Thanks, Hell's Bells!

  • Must be Satan that cause America to attack Iraq based on a pack of lies. hmmm....

  • Actually, I think it was jihad that had previously been declared on the US.

  • That damn Satan made Peter Townsend destroy a perfectly good guitar! hahahahaha!!!!!!

  • "...now, i'm not saying that if you listen to heavy metal music the devil will make you kill your mom. these individuals all had other problems besides their addiction to rock n roll..."

  • These little movies have altered my life

  • "True Will should spring, a fountain of Light, from within, and flow unchecked, seething with Love, into the Ocean of Life." (from Little Essays Towards Truth, p.76) - Aleister Crowley

"Love, and do what you will" (Dilige et quod vis fac) Sermon on 1 John 7, 8 - Saint Augustine of Hippo

  • Before comparing these two quotes, check what their definitions of 'love' are and the context these quotes are pulled out of.

As for the second of these, it was referring to love as described in the Bible - loving God with all your heart, mind, body, and soul, and your neighbor as yourself. If you do, then what you 'will' will be in alignment with God, not your own selfish desires.

Crowley, on the other hand, had a different reference point.

  • Just heard Crowley's definition of 'love' in the next part of this series: lust and carnal desire.

You can't really put these quotes side-by-side except to show how very different they are.

  • Debby Harry ( Blondie ) is a Satanist??? Whoohooo!! Townshend. My man!!!!

  • Interesting.

  • That was a hottie at that Rolling Stones gig. Id totally ram her.

  • ALEISTER CROWLEY was a real TOOL of LUCIFER

and we must not forget MASONS and secret societys

  • Hhaha this is funny shit.

  • why?

  • That guy up there would call what I'm saying heresy, but I won't believe that leaving dogma and finding God is evil. Everyone walks (metaphorically) their own path to God-or away from God. Regardless of creed, free-will is the perennial truth of all of these perspectives. You can choose to either walk with your eyes closed or wide open.

  • Ridiculous. The most twisted acts in humanity was not hard-rock idiots, but by religious extremist fanatics. Read your history. The Inquisition. The Salem Witch Trials. The CRUSADES, just to name a few. All stemming from the same cultist beliefs. If you can justify these events and say that the Rock era is more demonic, then I tremble at the state of your soul.

  • I dont think comparing the two is relevent- they are BOTH not "good". You are right about people using religion to kill people- but I think its a shame to have such lower level subject matter pawned off to the youth as something harmless and "cool". There is so much more to talk about than the devil and hating Christ-

  • I completely agree with you. This isn't a matter of evil influence, which mullet man up there is trying to make people think, but a matter of taste. I think most of the music processed out of the media monster (especially in the 80's) is just bad and very disrespectful. They only made that kind of music because of the massive buzz it would engender in all people. But the guy did say that 'some of the most twisted acts in humanity was inspired by rock icons.' And that's just incorrect.

  • you know what buggs me? I bought into all the 80 crap. I think he may mean that becasue people got hookd into drugs and lost their lives. From a religios stand point- its bad- becasue they never had the chance to repent- I think thats His angle.

  • Alright, I can see that, in the personal conscience viewpoint. In that way, it is tragic what happened to those individuals. But I just wish people could articulate it that way other than just spewing rhetoric, and condemning anyone who questions it to hell for all eternity. And placing blame other than taking responsibility. But no matter what stance one takes, all can agree that it is very sad and confusing. "Veil of Tears" starts to make more and more metaphorical sense.

  • yeah I completely understand what your saying and feeling- youre cool- What is veil of tears? thats sounds familiar...

  • The 'Veil' comes up in many spiritual traditions. For some, it is that which hides and reveals the truth of reality. For others, it is that which keeps you from being blown away by God, living a life more or less blissfully ignorant. Some saw it as the devil's last attempt to blind mankind from seeing the Kingdom of Heaven.
