What with the warm, sensual lighting, a half-naked Guy, the heightened close physical contact and the heavy breathing between two actors who already have scorching hot chemistry, is it any wonder the viewers wanted Marian to end up with Guy?

What an ungrateful prick! Marian saved his life and he's grilling her about Robin Hood getting away - which he would have anyway. I get that all the fangirls are swoonign about how got Guy is, RA is awesome. But most of the time he's selfish, distrustful, insulting and violent.

They should have made this show and called it 'Gisborne' starring RA as the lead. It would have been a different spin on the Legend having Robin as a side character and having the focus on the badboy and his struggle between right and wrong.

I honestly think if Marian married Guy he would have really tried to redeem himself and break away from the Sheriff somehow. The woman is in complete denial! She's totally checking Guy out the entire time (look at the way her eyes keep wandering down to his chest) and that sigh and the slight quiver (wonder how much of that was acting!). Yeah, Guy's a nice person: he kills, tortures and arrests peasants, seduces kitchen girls and abandons his own son in a forest. To answer Cristinadip question, if i were her I would be all over Guy. He is so much more manlier than Robin. :P And Robin gets too side tracked by other things. I honestly think if Marian married Guy he would have really tried to redeem himself and break away from the Sheriff somehow. But once she rejected him I think he just got in this mind he had nothing left to lose.

jonas armstrong is the sexiest robin. the bbc's adaptations are never historically accurate, so really i can forgive him for the floppy emo look etc. c'mon, the guys got a personality...while guy is attractive, he looks like an overgrown emo-goth. so if i were marian, i'd follow my heart and choose my childhood friend, my first love...the guy i never stopped loving. :)

The woman is in complete denial! She's totally checking Guy out the entire time (look at the way her eyes keep wandering down to his chest) and that sigh and the slight quiver (wonder how much of that was acting!). Robin looks kinda creepy - eavesdropping with his floppy hair and weird tufts on his face. He's probably thinking he should stop prancing around trees, and get a decent haircut and shave and join the nearest gym. And he still wouldn't be as hot as Guy's forearm. RA as Guy is a God!

In series 1 I was torn between the two but Robin has progressively goy uglier I think its the wierd facial hair. You could never make richard armitage ugly. Hes perfection! x

It was the armor that was a problem for me,--some parts correct, others laughable, and metal way too cartoony--but not the body under it. (Though it's missing a jupon, I assume for a reason.)

Yeah, Guy's a nice person: he kills, tortures and arrests peasants, seduces kitchen girls and abandons his own son in a forest. But I know what you mean - I'm a staunch fan of Guy and feel that there is a huge possibility of redemption - IMO there's the potential for a good, even a noble man in there. And he's so sexy that, awful as this sounds, I forget about all the killing and torturing and abandoning.
