@TimBirkenholz I don't think they are trying to release this as a single - just put it up there to demo how the wah pedal sounds. Doubt they were expecting to have to live up to critical diagnosis from a genius like yourself.

@TimBirkenholz I understand your frustration - just think it would be best to say you don't like wah in that style and ask if the guy could maybe do some light wah and demo that - or however you want it demoed. It is dispiriting to post something & be criticised for it. Personally, I only use a wah to add a slight touch of the effect. Occassionally.

@MorningView4 technically vox and crybaby wahs where identical during his time. and when i mean identical they where basically the same wah and one said vox and one said cry baby and before that they where the same brand and branched off. they didnt start to branch off alot until the late 70s and through the 80s.

Everyone ive had both of these...the Vox is more versatile the cry baby is more for funk n metal the vox can be used for any genre. Better pedal...better price Cry baby-120 vox-70 you do the math...lol if you are a player of any genre get the vox if your a metal or funk player get the cry baby.

sounds like the cry baby has a more distinct fuller sweep. They both sound great really depends on the rest of your rig and the style you play.

i have the vox, it´s amazing.

beore i had the v847 but the v845 doesn´t sound really different, it´s just the weight and the new vox (v845) is just about 59€
