FUNimation doesn't "make" anime you'd have to come up with a couple of 100 thousand and go to Japan and get the animation studio to make it

@Moviefan6896 - According to FUNimation themselves, they've been trying to get the rights to the anime series for years now. They haven't had much luck, though, according to what Adam Sheehan has said in the past.

You probably have Toei to thank for that.

If everyone who was passionate about Case Closed actually purchased DVDs then we'd be getting somewhere. I too am guilty of not supporting the show. Hell I didn't even know it went passed 50 something after it stopped on Cartoon Network.

If it doesn't sell well then it gets the ax, I hear it costs a lot to get the rights and with nobody buying DVDs it is a profit loss.

You'll still be getting movies though.
