David! Please point me to some reputable sources of news! I'm finding that mainstream media is failing to report on issues that I feel strongly about, and would love to here what sites you might know that I could add to my daily repertoire of reading.
Everything you describe in this vid, D.Seaman, are systemic issues with electing people to positions of power.
We need a consensus system, much like the Occupy movement uses.
Casting a "Vote" is merely a distraction tactic that remains ineffectual because we still use First Past the Post, "state representatives" which can ignore the will of the people outright and even the mock "debates" with alternating lectures bereft of fact checking, coherent dialogue or moderation of logical fallacies
@sinceilostmytooth I'm all about the issues, their priorities, their history, the angles of each position, good solutions and their scope and consequence. I'm also about looking closely at a candidate's track record. That is why I am voting for Ron Paul - He has the issues nailed, has good solutions, and has a great track record.
Very well said. I would add that they are trying to herd us into '"stack 'em & pack 'em" housing, restricting farming and other valid uses of the land under agneda 21. to say nothing of chem trails, and poisoning our food, even baby food, with known toxins, then arresting people who are offering wholesome raw milk. And manufacturing wars that need never be fought, just to secure money for the super rich. Obama might as well reside at Goldman Sachs, as he is their play thing.
I really can't tell if this is a dry parody of Keith Olbermann of if it is serious. Suicide Girls trying to be taken seriously as a news source because they are expressing indignant outrage on youtube? I'd love someone inside to explain this to me.
And, when it comes to money for campaigns? WE who follow both Buddy and Paul do give things up in order to get them out there. The others? I watched TheNewt take in another 5 million from ONE donor? I thought that was illegal. Mitt takes in a million from a "corporation" that goes away next day? And idiots are voting for these guys? IS AMERICA THIS STUPID?
Given what we have in, right now, as POTUS.. I can only say, YES, American is stupid.
Too bad. I like Buddy. I follow him on twitter and he follows me.
I've been asking Buddy to consider veep run with Paul. I think those two would make a GREAT pair. I think a lot of people have really gotten angry over this blackout of Paul. However, the sheeple, as usual, are not even aware.
My own sisters, when I brought up Paul said, "I think he's a good guy, but I don't know much about him", so I sent them info. I think they are now voting PAUL. Know I AM.
@johnnycmajor I'm not so sure about this. I agree there's not nearly enough coverage, or conversation on the subject. However, I speak with a lot of people in public. More then 65% of people I encounter are fully aware that they can now be arrested, detained and held without charges! I've spoken to grocery store people, gas station people, randoms in my friends coffee shop and MANY people at my local dog park (these are largely sheeple BTW). It has been a top subject for weeks.
I think you have your facts wrong on Romney's Income... But either way that should not be why anyone has a problem with him. How about Romneys Stance on the NDAA, Patriot Act, Presidential war powers, an actual plan to get a balanced budget?
@davidseamanonline About the NDAA, is not that isyou're ging back to the midddle ages, is that the goverment, has seen what Freud and the Facists saw decades ago, Democracy gives so much liberty that the State can't control, so that's why they mak ethose kinds of bills to applie new ways of control.
you said "detention." why not say "imprisonment?" you've got 147 views. all those people should be calling it "indefinite imprisonment." they don't take these people to a high school library for a breakfast club. they torture them with needles. fox news wins because they change the language from "the affordable care act" to "obama(liberals suck)care." until liberals take back the language they will lose.
Indefinite "Detention" activates the frame: "A child is bad. An adult or teacher with moral authority over them is punishing them. It's not painful. It's for their own good. Everything will be fine."
PROGRESSIVE FRAME:
Indefinite "Imprisonment" activates the frame: "Fascist dictators. Political prisoners. War. Oppression. RED FU**ING ALERT!!!"
Why do progressives keep losing again? 90% of political thought is unconscious. if you frame for the truth, people see the truth.
@styrofoamheart That may be the image that you see of progressives. But what that adult/teacher does to us is painful. it hurts people when they are groped and touched by the TSA. I wont give up one ounce of freedom.
@RUDY2295 I'm just saying the reason authoritarian conservatives can get away with thinks like NDAA is because they use language that hides the truth. Reason is 98% Subconscious Metaphor. So people go along even though the awake people, like you and me, don't. We need to wake up America.
Well, first black president everyone thought he was the messiah and all the african american and africans all over the world were like "HE WILL REPRESENT US! HE IS SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD" lmao. I doubt they even know whats going on now.
"And that is why our press was protected by the First Amendment, the only business in America specifically protected by the Constitution, not primarily to amuse and entertain, not to emphasize the trivial and the sentimental, not to simply 'give the public what it wants', but to inform, to arouse, to reflect, to state our dangers and our opportunities, to indicate our crises and our choices, to lead, mold, educate and sometimes even anger public opinion." Now it exists primarily to sell you shit
Obama already made a signing statement on NDAA. I assume he'll stick by that, e.g. "trust your gov't; you'll be fine."
Obama lied about closing guantanamo, about renewing USA-PATRIOT Act, He lied about tax breaks for senior citizens, he bailed out the banksters, he said his first priority, if elected would be to bring the troops home, starting day 1. He has promoted and advocated for TSA.
He is now bringing us to war with Iran, and when China and Russia interfere, we will all lose. What for?
@uyworldtraveler Obama, sounding eerily like GWB in 2010, reifying his promise “But make no mistake. We will close Guantanamo prison” Later that year, he had US citizen Alwaki & his son murdered. In Mar 2011, he gave indefinite detention for the captives still at Guantanamo, announcing "several steps that broaden our ability to bring terrorists to justice". And then on Dec 31, 2011, he signed NDAA for indefinite detention of Americans.

@JoshReflek They mostly let you vote on things that don't matter that much. Things like internet censorship, war, are out of our hands.

@dhtmlkitchen Except when we come together as a people and voice our frustration as a whole. Case in point the recent SOPA outrage.

Posted this video to the question page, I wonder how long it'll take before I'm removed XD
I may be smiling, but this is just sad. To think I'd see the day that I would be crying foul about Government censorship. Hmm...
Anyways, thank you and let's hope more people see this!

This is one of the many ways that God uses to punish the unrepentant sinners.
What is happening now is nothing compared to what God is going to bring and is bringing upon you willing sinners that refuse to repent.
Just as God harden Pharaoh's heart to do his bidding so has God harden your leaders hearts to do his bidding.
That is God's reword and plagues to you godless sinners for refusing to repent of your sins.
