i think like what for every mac dmg file. there is 10000 executables.

my hardware is shit on my old ass PC. its like from 2003. why does windows run so well on it? i mean it doesnt have any viruses. i defraged it once but it really didnt do anything. have all the apps i need to develope a website. why should i buy an overpriced mac?

this thing runs pretty fast acually. i can have photoshop, firefox, web easy pro, and media player open at the same time. it runs them all smoothly simultaneously.

2nd- .dmg is not an executable in os x. it's a disk image like .iso. the executable in os x is .app witch is like a folder in windows. ex: c:\program files\firefox\firefox.exe in os x is /applications/firefox.app

3rd- there are 1000 to 1 apps, but all those 1000 do the same thing.

4th- windows does not have the look, feel, stability, simplicity and the technology that os x has under the hood.

ex: in windows u have to install a program to open and mount a disk image. os x has the support for all disk images.

ex: in os x we have an app called automator witch can do all sorts of things automatically. windows doesn't have it.

ex: when u plug in a camera, ext. hdd, card reader etc. in windows u have to install the drivers in most cases, in os x we don't have to.

so do your homework before posting. and running 4 apps at the same time is a joke.

also, there are big programs like 3ds MAX, MAYA, Esprit, etc. they are used for rendering and engineering. does ilife come with that? no. will those very common and popular programs run on OS X? no.

maya, rhino, modo, blender, photoshop, final cut, shake, premiere, after effects etc. runs on os x. ilife is for media creation not for 3d modeling. every windows program will have an equal brother for os x. if i want a usb wireless adapter, i'll buy one compatible with mac. linksys is not the only option. most people doesn't know shit, just like you, about computers and they go out and buy...

theres a whole BUNCH of people who don't just buy P.O.S PCs, theres alot of technologically minded people who love Windows for what it is, a massively open system that allows limitless customization. BTW regarding that BSOD comment? ironically I havn't had one since I installed Vista. The only BSOD I'd get were in XP and usually caused by a conflict program or faulty RAM anyway.

So STFU, also Copy/Paste was implemented with the right-click mouse button which Apple didn't seem to like very much, I guess 2 mouse buttons doesn't follow their "Simplicity" rule? That's horseshit, digital cameras, video cameras, card readers, commonly work in anything from XP upto Vista without drivers. External HDDs?? They're mass storage! You can plug them into anything with a USB port that reads media files! People like you are the reason my teacher thinks you don't need drivers for printers n' shit but when we plugged it into the Mac (OSX Tiger), What'd we need to do? install the HP disc software! Just like on a PC.
