  • rude.

  • rude.

  • I like both splashes. Both have distinct pitches and tones that contrast and complement each other and sound perfect to my ears. If I had the money I would use both cymbals in my setup.

  • I like the rude series better.

  • Rude, sounds incredibly good to me, when used for heavy metal. In other genres 2002 would be better, it seems to be more versatile.

  • Let me guess, your cymbals are often damaged?

  • DONT MAKE ME FUCKING CHOOSE!!!

    BOTH =#

  • rude

  • when in doubt choose meinl.

  • 2002 man

  • Rude

  • Which is the upper left-most one?

  • @olsalesd The bottom and the top-left is 2002.

  • Definitely 2002.... 2002 sounds the cleanest and RUDE is too low pitched.

  • Who went and killed the bottom one. xD

  • I prefer the 2002 one.

  • paiste rude

  • Paiste RUDE splash

  • i prefer Twenty because I am a rock player.

  • @Suiax What a stupid reason? You don't have to prefer Twenty just because you play rock. I personally prefer the old Paiste Traditionals 9" Splash over any other splash cymbal. In this video I'll have to go with the 2002 one though. Is the 8" 2002 on the bottom cracked?

  • @Terinigan No the 8" isn't cracked since there's no signs of cracks. I think he muted it with duct tapes at the bottom of the cymbal.

  • @joshuachan56 It could have several cracks around the bell that you wouldn't be able to see, but yeah, i guess duct tape is more realistic

  • rude not as thin sounding

    SABIAN RULES

  • RUDE - that is my favorite cymbal

  • Comment removed

  • rude.. its darker :) what evers on the bottm isnt good at all, has no sustain.

  • Without question, the 2002.

The Rudes definitely have their place in music but overall, the 2002's sound is much more that of a splash. The rude just sounds like a crash

  • the first one is better

  • wats wrong wit the bottom one lol

  • rude

  • 2002

  • i like rude better love all of the rude series

    espacially the 18" crash/ride :D

  • 2002

  • depends on the sound you're looking for

  • KOrn!!!!!!!!!!

  • how about a rude finish 2002? they make those u kno

  • @Scoreking81 Yeah...its called the regular paiste rudes, they are made from 2002 alloy lol

  • 2002 splash,no doubt about it

  • RUDE all the way

  • RUDE

  • Not trying to be mean or anything, but why the eff would someone use a splash for the bell...? Just saying...

  • the 1st one

  • sounds better the broke jaja

    nein

    sounds better 2002 splash

  • mh, it prefers to the sound u need/want for a certain style...

The one with the damaged Bell sounds not that bad if u want to use it as efffect like the small caymbals of Mike Terrana^^

  • there both amazing splashes...DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE! lol

  • I think the RUDE sounds more like a crash than a splash.

  • I use the 10" and 12" 2002 RUDE Splashes. They sound awesome. Almost like small crashes rather than splashes. I play in a death metal band and they really cut through the mix. Paiste are amazing cymbals.

  • It really depends on context, both are nice but each is suited to a different musical context. The 2002 has a smooth, more traditional sound and cuts in and out quick, while the rude is as the name implys and would be better suited to hard rock, punk and metal.

  • Rude !

  • How much does the 2002 10" cost (I'm not from the U.S., so the price is rather different compared to how high it is in my country)? Thanks... BTW- I am also considering the Zildjian Avedis 8" splash; any opinions on that one? (damn, typing on an iPod is difficult :) )

  • i personally like the broken 2002..

  • 2002. I hate the overtones of the RUDE.

  • 2002 by far

  • i like the rude one better X]

  • 2002. that rude splash has some annoying overtones.

  • 2002 is more musical

  • Paiste 2002 obviously !!

  • i like the 2002 one

    better

  • 2002

rude sounds like a little crash.

  • thanks for responding.

  • i play alternative & rock. what's better... 2002 20" Medium Crash, or RUDE 20" Thin Crash?

  • the Medium

  • @Orasilth - Rude

  • @drummingpleasesme 2002 would be best.

  • i got rid of my rude splash because i really didnt like the sound of it (at the time) i regret selling it now.

  • is the rude better for playing metal?

  • it's not necicarily the genre it's the song if your deathcore then you will want a big splash like 10in

  • I like bright sounding splashes, but if I could choose one for free i'd pick RUDE...

  • In My opinion rude sounds better

  • both...each is better for different applications.

    overall though 2002 ftw

  • 2002

  • 2002 for 37 Dollars is the best.

  • rude all the way because at leats it sounds harder live and the 2002 is precious but they dont sound 2 much live without mics

  • 2002

  • 2002

  • 2002

  • 2002

  • T'as pas répondu à mon MP.. -_-

  • hmm.... the rude reminds me of a crash more than a splash, which i like a lot, but the 2002 has a very nice sound. I think i like the rude better though

  • 2002
