This reminds me of my stalker. Often serial killers can work in movie theaters and lure young women with promises of a fun party and being very romantic, saying they love you. They can't face the fact you prefer somone else and are hell bent on making your life miserable because of their own traumatic past. Then they harass you online and are surprised they get fired. Takes a genius to outsmart such psychopaths. They're cunning. Often play in local bands too. Gotta be wary.

Am I the only 1 who noticed that the US is always #1 in those areas that indicate or is a symptom, of major social dysfunction? We lead in drug abuse (both Rx and street), murders, rapes and all types of violent crimes. Serial Killers are usually motivated by other things, and have specific MOs, or signatures. While it is true that Hitmen might kill a lot of people, they are primarily motivated by profit, as you noted. They might meet the criteria for Psychopaths using the PCL-R, though.
