I'm being sarcastic. Seriously, though, this guy made a mistake later on and resigned because of bad sampling methods. He certainly is not someone I would trust if I were a conservative or somebody who did not trust the environmentalist movement. But that doesn't detract from the flouride issue. It's banned in several european countries, including sweden. It's discouraged in many more, like china and japan and it's very uncommon in this countries due to that stance.

In some cases perhaps it did improve dental care, however it is much better used as topical rather than systemic. Why should I be forced to be "medicated". Read the documentation from the EPA Union of Scientists who oppose fluoridation. I don't care how you slice it, it's poison and it's toxic and it is creating far more serious health issues. Saving a few teeth isn't really what this is all about.

Even in cases where fluoridation appears to have improved dental health, there are other far more benevolent ways of achieving this. The first would be to ban all sugar soft drinks pushed onto small children.

I recently attended a childrens clinic for children with dental problems requiring multiple tooth removal. Every single parent had been giving them high sugar content drinks & foods.

I speak from personal experience in that my grandfather & grandmother died at 96 with ALL of their teeth.

I have many reports and documents I've been collecting as well as one that Dr. Hardy Limeback recently sent me to fight my own personal fight with our municipality re: fluoridation. From all I've read, Tea and Fish have the highest concentrations of fluoride. It's all bad and a healthy diet and dental hygiene is the answer. Sugar is definitely a killer on teeth and our society with their poor habits eat far too much. Animals are extremely sensitive.
