I was 15 and just read LotR for the first time that autumn. Then I heard a movie was in the works and found my way to the official website - and found this trailer. I watched it over and over and over again, literally shaking with anticipation and excitement. Good times. :)

@iamasau0 It's a shot from the battle when the Fellowship is entering Lothlorien. It wasn't used in the film but it might be a deleted scene in the LOTR Ultimate Edition if they ever release it.

@iamasau0 no not anywhere. It looks like they are just entering Lothlorien. It could be part of the scene that they did a little bit of filming on but then decided to scrap. It was ment to be like that the moria orcs had chaced them to Lothlorien.

Took me a moment to recognize, but it's an aerial shot from the Last Alliance scene at the beginning of the film.

@silvermoonlight007 It's not in the prologue, or any of the other films extended or theatrical. Probably just a shot that was cut from film but left in the trailer. Like the scene of Legolas turning and aiming his bow in what looks like Lothlorien. I believe that was from a scene which was cut where the Fellowship were to have been pursued into the forest a bit before the elves took out the chasing orcs.

@sammyman2210 The real quick scene that looks like Mordor? I know, it doesnt look like somethin from FotR at all. But they filmed all three movies at the same time, so perhaps it was a scene from The Two Towers or RotK....
