@beeAbaw ok two things I noticed it had that starting issue we had two 2002 models only one of them did it when it got old we assume it was bad gasoline but it had almost 100000 miles at the time so it was expected another thing was I noticed the gas hand showed it was empty and when they get low on gas their like that ours was to its something related to the fuel pump I cannot stand how it has a gas floats if ford just made them so when their turned off the gas hand goes down it wouldn't hapen
Might want to check your fuel pump or pressure regulator it wouldn't crank that fast if it were the battery it just sounds like it's not getting fuel. Had the same thing happen to my Sentra over the summer and it was the fuel pressure regulator, had to replace the fuel pump since the pressure regulator and fuel filter are built into the module. Nissan had a service campaign out for it. Definitely replace your battery too if it's 11 years old though!
@2004NissanSentra hey bro thanks for the advice. ya i had a feeling the fuel pump was kinda screwy. ill be getting that checked out. but first i have to check my transmisstion (dermatic music) cus its starting to feel low on wheel power if you know what i mean. ill be sure to keep you updated. btw your videos are amazing as always. =D
JT, did I hear in the video that you are going to getting rid of the Taurus in August? You don't like it anymore? Sounds like it is giving you some problems.
@BeeABaw Oh, no wonder why! Get a new one! I seriously doubt if my 2001 Nissan Sentra with 77,000 miles can start in the cold with no problem your Taurus should start just fine.
@supersnot4 is it carb? ya this car has never started that rough before. when i was making the video i was saying in my head... oh shit please run. i was surpised when it dident do it the first time over. one time i went to start it and it would just instantly stall out. it did it about 5 times in a row before it ran fine.
@supersnot4 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. just had it changed a month ago. it hasent giving me starting probs since that video. it must be camera shy or something.
@BeeABaw ive looked at your other vids on how you drive it. thats probably why its the way it is. there not made for that. not trying to insult you but we have a 04 with almost 150k on it and it never does that. unless its near zero degrees it will stall for the first 3 starts but when its 18 out it starts up fine.
only 47,000 miles, should've taken it to the shop and get it fixed

@BeeABaw My truck's EFI, but my dad's '87 460 is a card and starts fine in the cold, but does struggle a little bit to warm up, typical of carbs.
What kind of oil do you have in your car? You might want to get it changed to something that has a better viscosity in the cold.
