matt said in a q interview at the end of last year that when he couldnt think of what the best memory of the decade was he said that the most recent was the sheffield arena gig! we were mental and he says so as well!

MB – "....I am not very good at retrospectives. So I am going to say our gig in Sheffield recently. The crowd were just mental. We’d played some shows in North America and Northern Europe on the tour but it was a different ballgame in Sheffield, a noticeable shift in atmosphere. It was amazing."

I saw Muse, Arctics and Kasabian all in the space of 3 weeks at Sheffield Arena in 2009. Not sure there'll be 3 better weeks of gigs ever again....
