and to judge the whole country on the organisation of a festival which, btw is no longer running, is just wrong. Fat mike is a hero of mine but for a guy who acts so smart in interviews, maybe he should get a fucking map out nd realise there is more towns to tour in Scotland than just galsgow. maybe he should take a leaf out of the real mckenzies book (a band on his record label) and tour places like kirkcaldy and dundee if glasgow is such a threat.
second time we have traveled from scotland(fife) to see nofx.First was liverpool an now newcastle, amazing set both times but unfortunatly it'll be the last time unless they move it north, basicly took the piss out of us,not too cool to see your hero just actin like a Bitch when you've made every effort to travel to support their british leg of the tour!
I wouldnt say they took the piss! they said they had nothing against their scottish fans...they were threatened in scotland by some nutters werent they? said they would stab them or something...
'we're not too scared to scotland, we have enough sense not to go back'. i find that an insult when they have just released a DVD where they tour countries that are far more dangerous. I love NOFX but dont they have the sense to see that some gang would be as much a threat in newcastle as say Aberdeen? the same distance from glasgow roughly? do they think NOFX fans are all pussys? wouldnt nofx fans have something to say to bikers crashing their gig?
that show was incredible first time seeing nofx came all the way from the shetland isles 12 hours on a boat an about 5 hours on a train then back the next day but hot damn was it good.
this gig was mint.
we met hefe in burger king and the rest of the band outside (:
reeko was the best song of the night.
