I would like to ask you something...
Is alcohol a drug? Did we try to prohibit it? Did it work? Is there less alcohol related crime and incarceration now than in the 30s?
He doesn't say that drugs should be legal or not... He is saying that it is up to the individual states to decide. Like California, Vermont, Colorado and New Jersey have done.
Drugs are bad, and if you do something stupid and hurt someone else because you were drugged, you should be punished.
