You seem passionate about Monsanto and what they do. I can appreciate that. You have to stand by what you believe in. As long as we listen to both sides of the story and make our decisions wisely then that's all we can do. There ARE times though when some of these companies don't want you to hear "the other side of the story". It's unfortunate that not all companies are "above board" with their truthfulness.

I'm sorry that you equate someone saying that "Monsanto is evil" with "American Farmers are evil". I certainly don't feel that way at all. I don't subscribe to the thought that Monsato is evil, I just don't care for their business practices.

As long as we listen to both sides of the story and make our decisions wisely then that's all we can do. There ARE times though when some of these companies don't want you to hear "the other side of the story". It's unfortunate that not all companies are "above board" with their truthfulness.

The fact is that Gary Reinhart (in 2002) owned farmland which his nephew Tim Reinhart rented on shares.
(so, in fact, Gary Reinhart was a farmer in 2002)
Tim Reinhart admitted to pirating Monsanto's patented seed and settled with the company.
That puts a little different light on the whole article, doesn't it?

The Vanity Fair article is from May, 2008. It is online still. It was called "Harvest of Fear".
I'm sorry that you equate someone saying that "Monsanto is evil" with "American Farmers are evil". I certainly don't feel that way at all. I don't subscribe to the thought that Monsato is evil, I just don't care for their business practices.
I do think it's important to try and remain balanced when approaching topics like these. It's easy to get caught up in the "angry villager" mentality.

It is interesting that the only comments that you have left on any YouTube videos all concern Monsanto. If the company feels the need to hire people such as yourself (note that I did say IF) then that would be rather telling in itself.
For the record I never once mentioned "12 lawsuits" or "terminator seeds" so I don't know why you chose to mention either of those things in your response.

@Davebjj Veganism is the solution! WHY? Tens of millions die annually from starvation, mostly children. Yet worldwide, annually, 40% of all harvested grain(mostly GMO) was fed to animals being raised for slaughter; in the US that figure was 66%.
Vegetarians understand that we should put the welfare of people before animals, we care that the food we grow find it's way DIRECTLY for human consumption.

Gm food is the way forward, Monsanto arn't evil. Good I'm glad Monsanto are doing reaserch into GMO's. I'm going to buy some Monsanto maize. People forget that green terrorist atack and destroy inocent GM framers crops and asualt Monsanto workers. There is nothing wrong with using pesticides, god bless Monsanto. Monsanto is evil, Monsanto will die sooner or later.
The best thing that we can all do is volunteer our time to educate the poor and illiterate farmers of the evil of hybrid seeds and Monsanto in particular. Provide them of all the different names and companies that Monsanto uses to sell their corrupt seeds and purchase your fruits and vegetables whenever you can from the independent farmers who DON"T use Monsanto seeds.
Boycott any store that sell food make from Monsanto.
