This episode makes no sense.

-Rimmer was revived as a hologram to keep Lister company. Without Lister, there is no point to his resurrection.

-Rimmer could have rescued Kryten on his own, and he would still exist, just without all the rebellion.

-Could Holly have met his female opposite without Lister? That's who the female Holly is based on.

-It's impossible to tell if so, but maybe there was another reason that he was ressurected. There had to be someone left on the ship anyway!

-I'm not sure actually if Rimmer could of found Kryten. I doubt he'd pick him up once he finds out the women are dead.

-Holly created the Holly Hop Drive though, and I think Rimmer would have tried to get it to work too. There just wouldn't be Dog or Deb.

OK, I have to think. Well, we all know that the Captain is crappy. He couldn't have done anything. Todhunter, well, yeah, he was OK. But if Kryten and the Cat had to go, and if Rimmer had to go, and Todhunter had to come back, well, not good! The audience wants Rimmer, or one of the other crew. Rimmer was the best for the part anyway.

I've just remembered. Rimmer has a small hard-light source. If he kind of thrust his chest (where his light bee is) at the button he could quite easily do it. It's in the book.

Without Lister constantly at his back, maybe he could of got further. It was mostly Lister who ruined Z Shift, if you read the first book.

Rimmer still joined the space corps and became a member on red dwarf he still became a hologram after the radiation leak but without lister cat and kryten never existed on Red dwarf so rimmer was still there.Cos rimmer wittnessed when cat.kryten and lister disappeared rimmer knew who they were
