The drums' rhythm is like the ska one on some parts (obviously from 2:22 to 2:35 is punk) but the song is Funk style in my opinion (the guitar rhythm is funk and they use ska's drums rhythm on funk sometimes). Anyway the song is still great.

this is the only time I heard a remix / remake of the Ghostbusters theme that I enjoy and actually could envision being part of the Ghostbusters 3 soundtrack. Its true to the original but adding alittle new flare to it so the song is updated a little for today's market. And with the recent announcement that Sony is re-releasing the original movies back in theaters this October, i see this band having alot of work in the weeks to come.
