@TheMelJ2 try scrunching all your hair in a messy bun on top of your head and tie it and leave it like that for like 10, 15 minutes and take it out. I had the same problem, but I tried this and it worked. oh and use hairspray

Sometimes it works better if you brush your hair before the shower, and then dont brush it when you go to style it. More curl and wave that way.

The question is where can you buy the John Frieda lux volume spray and the Rusk Being Warped wax? I live in a tiny town and am limited to basically Wal-Mart and a few salons are either of those products availible at a store like Wal-Mart?

@jbaaka thanks!  I know the john frieda products can be found at target....I haven't checked walmart but definitely check. As for the rusk being warped wax i got that at ulta but I think the garnier frutis rough it putty should be similar and you can get that at walmart. Hope that helps!

To get a more effective Ke$ha look, all you have to do is flip your head upside down, hairspray it, get drunk for a week in a row WITHOUT washing your hair, and you're look is complete! Also, if you want the full effect, buy some party confetti and glue it to your face.

@taylorswiftfangirly thanks! In order to create the waves you have to put the mousse in wet hair....for me my hair has to VERY damp for it to work. If you are just practicing you don't have to wash you could just wet it.
