  • He's a secular christian, if you will.

  • So many straw men, so much Bible taken so far out of context, I am surprised he didn't turn into a pretzel.

  • @techservant He gets better when he talks about freedom to have faith but the first 3 minutes are so bad its hard to keep listening.

  • @techservant The first 3 minutes are the best.

  • @OnkelStein I guess so if you were looking for a video to take out of context in order to show that Barack Obama hates religions.. other than that, yeah I totally agree

    p.s. trollolol

  • obama has freedom of speech but that does not mean you have to agree with him

  • @raylucero100 It depends on your politics

  • watch this then Read Matthew 5-7 then watch this again 99% of you who complain about the bible being wrong in its teachings have never even so much as read the Sermon on the Mount

  • Comment removed

  • Although him quoting Mosaic Law quoting somehow that's the Law of Christ (which annoys me to no end), his statement about transforming "Christian values" into all-encompassing values is absolutely true. As a Christian I am sickened by the assumption that this is "our" nation. Religious freedom doesn't mean amorality it means moral togetherness--an understanding of truthfulness in all religion. His comments are closing the ears to Christians who hear an attack on the bible and assume he's evil.

  • This.. This right here why europeans like obama hes sane.

  • sweet jesus video lenght is 911

  • Thanksgiving 2011: 91 people who have viewed this video are Chrsitofascist fuckwits.

  • Obama, we never were a Christian nation. The Constitution and Declaration of Independence both emphasize this.

  • He is an actor... he has no control over what happens in that country...

  • Right on, MR PREZ!!

  • Welp. That seals the deal. He won't be re-elected in this theocracy.

  • @Gatzlocke most people that I talked to don't even know that this speech took place at all

  • Obama just went up 1000 points. Kudos.

  • God can suck my balls

  • He has to, has to cater to Christians and walk with them but we atheists know that he is just paving the way for us. He will be atheist if not already and it will happen probably in secret so a christian wont shoot him.

  • Religion sucks, there is no God and people who base their lives on a book written by primitive unproven superstitions about some pretend afterlife are worse than retarded but obscene past obscure and ignorant beyond help. I wish jesus and his fake dad would come and snatch you dirty Christians away so the rest of us could enjoy the 1 and only life we get without your filthy lies mucking up our view.

  • @martin78594 oh hes coming for us Christians dont worry about that

  • @wingchun149 When? After all 2 billion of you have equally participated in ruining the earth right along with the rest of us but dont participate in helping the Earth cause the sooner Jesus comes the sooner you can all bail and leave it to the thinkers and doers of the planet to innovate and create and clean up and conserve while you people sit around praying? You can sit and pray till your blue in the face but your messiah has been gone for a long fucking time. Get a clue dude. Jesus is gonzo.

  • @martin78594 James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone"

which means prayer only works when you take a leap of faith and put it in gods hands

we can agree on this when you have chosen not to believe in something you wont see it even if its the truth right in front of your face someone is a non believer has chosen not to believe in Jesus and wouldn't believe he was the son of god if he proved him self the same could be said in opposite

  • @wingchun149

There is only one problem with this:

Reality. The reality of the fact that prayer just doesnt seem to work at all. Noone litening.

  • @kurtilein3 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

  • @wingchun149 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

  • @wingchun149 That is James 4:2-6

This scripture has a double lesson to it

1 God isn't going to help you commit sin

2 If you know better then god how is he to help you, instead of proud go before him humble and you will hear most clearly what he has to say. To put it another way if your to proud of your own knowledge you will probably wont pay attention good advice when its given to you.

  • @wingchun149 I have chosen not to believe because I used to believe and never found the truth of God in front of my face which is why i dont believe anymore. God looks the same to me right now as he used to look when I was Christian completely and totally absent. God looks exactly to me right now as he looks to u, completely and totally absent. Get a blank piece of paper and begin 2 draw what God looks like 2 u and in an hour your paper will be exactly the same as mine is now & in 1 hr. blank.

  • all religions are stupid!

  • ahhh that's my president : )

  • alot of balls talking about religion so frankly in the US. However i feel about his politics sometimes i respect this. I believe he did it in a way that will hopefully offend as few evangelical types as possible.

  • @SkepticHeathen why do you want to offend people

  • @wingchun149 The only thing i can think of is lack of education suggesting otherwise

  • Hobbism : the Hobbesian theory that absolutism in government is necessary to prevent the war of each against all to which natural selfishness inevitably leads Mankind.

  • "My first sexual encounter involving penetration was in junior high school with a college freshman. I didn't know left from right. He showed me how. I've never considered myself bisexual but, this is passé: I have enjoyed the comfort of men from time to time, even during my marriage with Rhonda..." Fr. p. 218 of “Last Words” by George Carlin, paperback (ISBN-10: 1439191107), 320 pages, published by Free Press, reprint edition (November 2, 2010)

  • THE CORPORATE CARTELS (married monopolies) control the content of the propaganda that's dressed up as news. Truly the dawning of Aquarius is the new age of indoctrination. Time with you is more of an annoyance than wearing a hat.

  • People, please, please be sensible.

First of all, just because he has respect for non-christian religions does not make him an atheist.

Second of all, as somebody who does not have a faith, I was heartened that he was the only president in history to mention "non-believers" in his inauguration speech.

According to a recent poll, "non-believers" are the second-most-disliked "group" in America. This is highly disturbing.

So... please stop maligning us for not sharing your beliefs. Thank you.

  • @Pluvious13 Religion is an evolutionary adaptation to increase cooperation and reproduction chances, and serves as a costly identifier for those who can be trusted. Sorry if you don't get why that should change your expectations for the responses, given the inherent offensive nature of these comments towards these adaptations. Amen.

  • holy crap! it is so great to here Obama say these things, I always assumed he was an atheist at heart, but now its just so obvious. CHEER!

  • I hope he just says he's religious so he gets accepted in the Senate... I won't be happy until we have President who deny such a thing as a talking snake, man walking on water and all that nonsense

  • ZOMFG DID HE SAY NON BELIEVERS??!!?!?!!! I NO HE SED UDER THINGS TO BUT WHIE DID HE SAY NON BELEBERS TO!? MUSLIM!

  • I know this is not part of the argument, but...too bad his economics suck lol. oh and atlas shrugged is a pretty chill book just puttin that out there!

  • He's an objective person knowing the objective to ethics is the same as the objective of our nation.

  • While he makes some good points, I consider him to be an ignorant man. He is destroying the United States (or more accurately, he is continuing the destruction of the US started by the progressive, big government movement of Wilson).

  • We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.

  • @kzevon : History Flash: This has always been the case. It's called a REPUBLIC. More specifically: a Plutocratic Republic. Initially we were ruled by white, male landowners. Now we're ruled by people with gobs of money and political connections. Please think about it.

  • It was Woodrow that said the following..."I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is [here, somewhat ironically, this version of the text leaves out the word "privately"] concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men [here, this version leave out the rest of the sentence -- without showing that text has been omitted]

  • What an ass.

  • i like how the video goes for 9.11

  • THERE IS NO RELIGION IN THE BIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @2amordeDios2 Do you even know what an iluminati is, neophyte?

  • OMG he used to have balls!!!

  • Who ever wrote that speech is an intelligent person. It might very well have been Barack that wrote it. I'm glad that he was elected, perhaps there is hope for sanity in the United States. I'm also very happy with the extra funds that robotics is getting. At any rate, that was a very agreeable speech Mr. President.

  • is this the same guy who received the nobel peace prize while sending 40.000 soldiers to irak?

  • Again America has reached another downfall for humanity. All that propaganda every American poses him or herself to, has finally paid off.

Obama suggests how religion will create diversity because religion has many subsets. He poses that America should be represented as a Atheist nation and not a Christian nation.

Religion is discipline. All this capitalistic shit, and other horrific ideologies ONLY lead to ignorance and war.

  • @MrVirtualCoder funny, because I thought history taught us that religion and war often hold hands. Obama does't want an atheist nation, he wants a nation that is open to all religions and creeds. America is not a christian nation.

  • @mllysmart Well you are wrong. America WAS a Christian nation. Infact, take a look at a dollar. It should say "In God we trust". But don't mind that.

Obama is a intelligent person. I'm sure he'll figure out a way to replace religion with something you stupid Americans can relay to, oh yea like the Media`?

Perhaps it is time to look outside.

  • @MrVirtualCoder actually you're wrong. yes "in God we trust is on the dollar bill, but it wasn't added on paper money till 1956. "under god" wasn't added to the pledge till 1953 or 54. Most of the founding fathers were either athiest, agnostic or diests. and lets not forget that the constituion calls for freedom of religion. the phrase, "seperation of church and state" comes from a letter Thomas Jefferson. Many people came to the colonies for religous freedom. suck it.

  • @MrVirtualCoder it takes great discipline to strap a bomb to your body and walk into a building and blow yourself up for allah. Or stand out in the freezing cold at a U.S. Soldiers funeral with you 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter calling all Americans fags and God hates America

I think what you are trying to say is young adults need to go through somesort of basic training/boot camp hell we can even through a refernce to god in there"give your heart to god because your ass belongs to us"

  • @saintluciferisgod No it does not. It takes a lie or two to make one person do so. BUT NONE OF THEM ARE MUSLIMS. Stop listening to the Media. All those who follow the word of Allah, God. Are Muslims. All those who kill in the name of Allah, are NOT Muslims they are the opposite of that.

  • @saintluciferisgod so the holy knights of the crusadas was not christian then. the iraq/afganistan "terrorist" didnt declare a Jihad (Holy War) on americans. the point im trying to make is if you think you are of that religion you are since religion is a "blind belief in an invisiable guy in the sky". Look im with you on the dicipline thing but not through such ignorance as ""religion" that leaves no room for freedom of thought because most religions try to brain wash the "flock".

  • @saintluciferisgod where in the holy book of Allah does it at ANY point signify terrorism? i would like u to answer this question...

  • @Lodii23 hell i dont know ive never read the "unholy book of aladin" but for one to blow themselves up in the name of allah doesnt mean thats what your book tells you to do it just means that person THINKS your "god" wants him to do those things. Which is the fault of religion a blind faith in nothing.

  • Hmm kind of strange how the video duration is 9:11

  • @thepsit That is unusual. It also cuts off rather abruptly. Deliberate or accidental?

  • Obama=hero

  • voted for him, and will again.. the most secular president since the founding fathers.. AMEN BROTHA!!

  • Obama haters can suck their own.

    Problem?

  • Legend.

  • Great speech. Let's hope that science, reason, and logic continues to advance and religion eventually dissipates itself over time.

  • He's a smart guy

  • No one reads the bible unless they need it to agree with what they want. The President is making THE POINT that everyone who lived under theocracies understand: Religion with political power is absolute EVIL.

  • @2ezee2011 I read the Bible and I'm Atheist. Problem?

  • @danfrost313 As do I! I have a degree in BA in Theology and History and only became an athiest @ Southwestern Theological. I love some of the Old Testament stuff ..especially about King Saul/King David and the rest. King Ahab, Moses and others are spectacular figures to read. The New Testment is not near as fun but does have its moments. So what problem would there be? We atheist are almost aways better educated about the Bible than are the Christians.

  • @danfrost313 I just dont think you should set policy from the bible or, for crying out loud, Morality. The bible is used as a hammer to beat mortals into submission. As a work of quasi-history and fiction ..oh my yeah its fun stuff. As a moral guide: slavery, polygamy, torture, murder, incest, child sacrifice, prostitution, (and that is what the "good guys" do) are endorsed and permitted so I have problems with the bible as a moral guide.

  • @2ezee2011 The Constitution is to protect "inalienable" rights. There can be no such thing as inalienable rights without God, the absolute authority beyond man, granting them. How just and honest is the world already in the foreshadowing separation from God? Trust in man will be disappointed. All things are possible with God. Choose.

  • Barrack Obama is the religion d'jeur.

  • Good man, good man.

  • How refreshing to hear a politician speaking truth. Most of our founding fathers were at best deists. If truth be known they were probably agnostics. The Enlightenment has already happened. Let's not slip back into the dark ages. Anyway, this is a good man who uses his brain to make decisions and is not afraid to speak the truth. I have much more faith in him than in a Jimmy Carter, for example.

  • I am more concerned with your actions & inaction than your rhetoric. Talking about the sermon on the mount being radical while allowing the International Bankers to gain control over our military & use it against everyone's interest other than their own is a bit more than just hypocritical. It is a war crime that in the disaster in japan resulted in the joining of forces of Japan, India, Russia, China (w/ North Korea) in Treaty to come to one another's aid in joint defense. CHANGE COURSE NOW!!!

  • I'm the head of the Muthafuckin' State, Nigga!!

  • Smartest president we've had in recent memory. It's genuinely saddening that people fail to see this.

  • @EnragedSephiroth It is sad for all that people are asleep.

  • Well President Obama, I rather you just enforce separation of church and state.

  • ALL MUSLIMS ARE PARASITES OF ALLAH=SATAN,

  • @esperansa1946 Your moms a parasite of cock. She loves to suck my fat cock all day.

  • @wags699 The point is that this speech shouldn't even be. And yes he is inserting his personal beliefs subtly into his speech, and subtly making fun of what he doesn't like or agree with.

  • He's an imposter,surely?,

I've yet to hear an American President speak so much sense.

    About time.

  • Obama is the best type of christian, he cares for all people, not just the ones of the same faith. Religion is often a barrier but he is doing the right thing by promoting secularism to bring people together. He's a much better president than Bush you have to admit even if you dont particularly like obama ^_^

  • Did anyone else look at the phrase " brilliant statements about religion " and then realise the video was 9:11 long.

  • Great speach, if he really is a christan (wich i'm not convinced he is) he's one of the few that realize that biblical policys don't belong in modern scociety(except dont steal or kill)

  • obama is good at reading his script...i'll give him that.

  • What the fuck happened SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!!! He shouldn't even being talking about this. Fuck him and what he believes in! He needs to do his real fucking job. Be the president, not a racist preacher.

  • @zombiekill551 You're going to criticize him on separation of church and state when he's saying that the two should be separate? He's staying politics should be guided by rational reasoning rather than blind faith. Separation of church and state.

  • @shawnisawesomeful He shouldn't even be having a speech about this subject period. Plain and simple. I wouldn't call this separation of church and state. So yes I am criticizing him. This is just a subtle tactic to create more division. And as you can see it worked.

  • @shawnisawesomeful Or can you see?

  • @shawnisawesomeful Just talking about it adds fuel to the subject.

  • Did anyone even hear what he's saying?, he is a atheist @ heart, he is no Muslim or Christian

  • @KnifeSniper69

atheist is too vacuous, he certainly is more / something else than that. His politics show that he is not a humanist. Maybe he is a rationalist or a pragmatic, i dont know. I have to say, as a german citizen, i am not satisfied with his politics, i think the USA is going into a bad direction.

  • @kurtilein3 Why must someone always be an "ist?"

  • @kurtilein3 How so? He inherited his presidency from someone who completely fucked up the country, the economy. Obama can't really... help.. the economy but no one can. There's a certain point in deficit that you reach where the only way to sustain your country is to continue plunging into that deficit by borrowing, taking loans and accumulating more and more debt.

There isn't a single person who could do a better job with the country, all the politicians are equally inadequate now.

  • @kurtilein3

A german telling an american secular president he's going in a bad direction after 8 years of Bush?

    You're an embarrassment to europeans.

  • @kurtilein3 BETTER THAN BUSH.

  • @kurtilein3

As long as we don't go in the direction yall went... we're good.

  • @kurtilein3 Atheist just means a lack of belief, if he doesn't hold a particular religious belief then he IS an Atheist

  • @KnifeSniper69 I believe that we, Islam, nonbelievers, and all human beings not in these groups have in common is that Obama is not in the interest of any of us. Not only does action and inaction speak louder than words, but does he actually stand for anything at all other than ambiguity? Is he being consistent about anything of value? We need a Moses, someone having been in the wilderness refined by the fire of the Living God. A baby born today would be less naive than O's STATE of DENIAL. GOD!

  • @draphaelc gods fake, get over it. the constitution states you cant force religion into the govt and you need to realize that. Obama cares about the little man. hes passed bills to make equal pay for women, hes dropped the unemployment rate from 11.5 to 9, hes helped pass healthcare that will get my family ins. by 2014. hes killed bin laden, and much more.. your fairytale has no place in my country

  • @KnifeSniper69 no, hes a deist, just like the founding fathers.. franklin, jefferson, and many others were not christian, the simply believed in a creator, but to never tell someone how to live or have faith. Im an agnostic, and he isnt even close to an athiest.. i only wish he was..

  • @KnifeSniper69 "Did anyone even hear what he's saying?, he is a atheist @ heart, he is no Muslim or Christian"

He doesn't flaunt his religious beliefs so I can see why you would make your statements, but this was an incredibly impressive speech from a man who realises he must restrain his personal religious beliefs if he is to preside over a multi-religious, democratic nation, and he clearly outlined why he believed it would be best if all citizens also restrained the religious zeal.

  • @GuillemotWatcher

As much as I would like to believe that I don't think it's true. Obama seems to be a christian @ heart and he has always admitted as much when asked. The thing that Obama also is however, is a secularist. But don't be so quick to jump the gap between secularism and atheism.

  • fuck obama

  • He is not a hypocrite, he is a christian. He does however recognise that this part has no place in politics, and he is an amazing leader of secularism. This is such a massive improvement to what america has had since the founders.

  • This is about the only since-able thing someone wrote down for obama to read.....so it is a good speech and quite possibly his only good speech.

  • I'm no Obama fan, but two thumbs up to Barak Obama !!! I'm tired of people here claiming we are a "Christian Nation" Not meaning that we aren't mostly Christian...as we are. But it is much more than that when people make this claim. They attempt to gain license to try to rule Constitutional law with their belief system. It is such an obnoxious attitude that we have to deal with here. It's about time one of our Presidents properly defined Constitutional determination. Good job Obama !!

  • 80 people were shaken to their core and ignorantly disliked this video because it violated their "comfort zone".

  • This is why I love this guy.

  • 80 idiots who have no idea how lucky they are to live in a secular democracy have disliked this video.

  • I hate that he said non believers rather than Atheist. Is even saying the word poisonous to a political career?

Anyway, I wish Australia had a proper and articulate leader aswell \= First Kevin Rudd and now Julia Gillard who isn't much an improvement: "Moving forward moving forward moving forward".

  • Obama does make some good points. Yet many people only hear him say "This is not a Christian nation" and stop there. People too often take things out of context. This is why so many people think that he's a Muslim. If they'd done any research themselves, they would have found that his father (whom he'd hardly known) was a Muslim, but that Barack himself had only ever claimed he was Christian. People are ignorant and believe such things only as an excuse to not vote for them. I pity them.

  • @948Aragorn Even if he had only said "This is not a christian nation", it would still be completely true and every moron making a stink about it is in fact, un-American.

  • @influenztial "Even if he had only said "This is not a christian nation", it would still be completely true and every moron making a stink about it is in fact, un-American. " I agree. I would add that most of these religious types honestly don't mean to irritate others. They have just had special privilege over everyone else that they truly dot understand why their "Christian Nation" crap irritates others. Again, I'm no Obama kool-aide drinker, but give credit where credit is due !!

  • @orangemod Precisely, i can find plenty i do not like about Obama as well.

There's another thing about the people that claim "christian nation" i have noticed, and that is speaking in terms of majority. The argument always goes...

    "we are a christian nation."

"No we were founded a secular nation so that manner of division into categories never arises, we are an american nation. "

    "But there's more christian people!"

"...having more red than blue M&M's doesn't make it a pile of red M&M's"

  • Obama is extremely clever, right and too ahead of his time for a nation that is still dominated by scared and ignorant people.

  • It's so strange hearing a United States president say these things. Awesome. I'm glad a true secularist president can be appreciated in these times, even if he is still tippy-toeing.

  • @BrokenBard true, it's good to have a president that is "unbiased" religiously. BUT, if you go up to him and ask his faith, he'll turn it around and say, 'Oh, yeah, I am a devout christian, blah, blah blah'.

That, my friend, is a hypocrite.

  • @MrDerby2u

there are LAWS that ban non-religious people from higher office in many states, including the presidency of the united states. So the option of him being an agnostic or non-religious or an atheist AND admitting it is nonexistent by law. the law is discriminatory, but it is real. I see what you see and i think the laws that force him to do it are the problem.

  • obama is a legend :D

  • @killallneds o yea hes a legend alright and he will definatly be in the history books as the biggest piece of shit to ever run this country. u fucking fags need to stop praying on every word a leader says make ur own words and stop being such a pussy

  • I agree; the defense department-heads ARE AntiChrist lol. But I disagree with his 'accountability to reason'-statement. For example: Dubya's War on Terror. By 'accountable-to-reason standards,' ALL war is impossible; but there we are anyway.

  • what worries me is that he had to read the story of Abraham and Isaac. How had he not known it?

  • I can see that barack doesnt even know how to read the bible.

  • @Italian77721 What is to know? You open it up and start reading.

  • @Italian77721 I'm sure Obama in fact KNOWS how to read a bible--thank God. But he ALSO knows--thank God--how many OTHERS read the bible---taking little passages out of context in order to suit their little agendae. I think he's saying that 'The Nation' was not one of the goals of the bible, and so the bible should not be directly-used in shaping the nation.

  • brillaint

  • @kurtilein The difference is that Traditional Catholics are taught to keep in mind when having sex, whether before or during marriage, that sex brings the possibility of pregnancy. Sex is going to be had, sure, but we don't believe in teaching our children or anyone else that having sex comes without consequences or responsibility. I know quite a few Traditional Catholics and we've all discussed this. Maybe you are the one who should find 20 Traditional Catholics and ask your questions.

  • @watersandthewild

you, as a (brainwashed) devout catholic, hope that catholics only ever have sex to make babies. but you dont know it, because you didnt actually ask a few catholics if they use contraceptives in order to have sex purely for fun. (like normal people and non-catholics do).

the truth is, most catholics use contraceptives in order to have sex for fun, also many of them have sex before marriage. studies/surveys/polls show this, ask catholics and you will find out.

  • @kurtilein3 Firstly, your rude accusation is unnecessary. Believing in something and being devout does not immediately make you brainwashed. If it did all human beings would be brainwashed, as we all have beliefs and are all devout about one thing or another. Secondly, perhaps it is you who should do further research. I did say Traditional (emphasis on the Traditional) Catholics. There is a vast difference between Traditional Catholics and new Order Catholics.

  • @kurtilein3 Come on, man. Sermons from the scripture are optional. You just pick and mix whatever parts you want to feel self-righteous about. How do you think religion's survived so long if its followers couldn't be hypocritical?

  • @kurtilein3 True 97 percent of Catholics use Birth control.

  • @kurtilein3 Actually, Catholics have a low rate of pre-marital sex

  • @watersandthewild

the funny thing is, you never really spent time thinking about it, you just allege that reality has to be the way you believe it to be because your beliefs are true. ask 20 catholics if they use contraceptives, or if they only have sex with the risk of (unwanted) pregnancy. they will answer, and you will be shocked, you will realize that reality does not always match what you want it to be. but how does this show how little obama knows?

  • @kurtilein3 Thirdly, you cannot possibly know what I have and have not spent time doing. I don't allege that reality has to fit all of my beliefs, but I can tell you Traditional Catholics do not use artificial birth control. Yes, there is sex outside of wedlock on occasion, but that wasn't my argument. Also, what business or right do you have to claim who is and who is not normal? I am Traditional Catholic, I have sex for pleasure. Most people have sex for pleasure.

  • @kurtilein3 How can you possibly tell me what I have and have not done? I do not believe reality is bent to my will, nor am I naive enough to think something is exactly as I would have it be. But, I do know Traditional Catholics do not make a practise of using artificial contraceptives. Yes, sex outside of marriage does happen, but that wasn't even part of my point. And what right do you have to say who is and who isn't normal? Traditional Catholics have sex for pleasure as well.

  • @watersandthewild any catholics that have sex for fun and pleasure is in danger of hell according to saint Paul

  • @zipitup75

Which shows how all it takes to go to hell is to be Human.

  • @DanielxMorningstar yep, its really sad, and they said God loves us, and in Revelation God will spend a thousand years trying to make us perfect, which makes you wonder, why dont you just let everyone in because obviously the rightous aint rightous if you have to cleanse them, why send people to hell

  • @watersandthewild I like your comment.

  • "We would call the police because we dont hear what abraham hears sees".

Basically what Obama said was that Abraham was Schizophrenic and saw illusions.

I always thought the arch of noah was the most ridiculous, retarded thing in the bible.

Religion doesnt only remove logic/rational thinking but also produces violence.

if you 'hear' god and he commands you to comit murder, not following this command will prove you to be unfaithful, resulting in eternal life in hell.

    why wouldnt you? abraham did.

  • obama!!!

  • @AdmRomulus You're an idiot. (Most) of the founding fathers were deists who disliked Christianity and Islam to a very large degree. Read some fucking books. Ignorant trash like you are why democracy doesn't work as well as it should.

  • @AdmRomulus Lying is against the Commandments. Remember that next time you say anything publically. And if you're not lying, then you're ignorant and in need of an education.

  • I love obama

  • @ele12957returns No actually, he didn't. It's contained NOWHERE in his writings. If it is, cite it! You can't because it's a lie. And before you accuse me of going back on my decision, I had some time to kill so I figured it just come back and kick you again ... It's fun.

  • Obama is the man. Long live the king.

  • @ele12957returns You are now done, fini, your goose is cooked. And STOP MISQUOTING JEFFERSON! It really does constitute "bearing false witness" under your own rules and as little as I believe in that bullshit, the least you can do is be consistent. BYE!

  • @ele12957returns In addition, Greenleaf's representation of the gospels as eyewitness testimony is false. They are heresay under any modern rules of evidence. His representation of them under the "ancient documents rule" is also questionable as that status goes only to their admission as evidence not to the strength of that evidence. Given that this requires the document to be used to support or impeach itself this then constitutes a circular argument and is logically of ZERO value.
