    I think your PC need to be the source of connection. Your PC now is getting the connection from the router. However, if you use internet, for example, with a 3G modem, in that way you should be able to share your pc internet connection as it's going to be the source.

  • i was trying to run ps3 off of it, setting up the hotspot was a success but the signal was too weak to run the ps3's internet. worth a shot, great video

  • @kaeoortiz For internet sharing:

    1. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center

    2. Under Change your networking settings, click Set up a new connection or network

    3. Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network

    4. Enter your Network name, and enter a Security key if wanted

    5. Check the box for Save this network and click Turn on Internet connection sharing on next page

  • @3liteNerds hey, I tried to create an ad hoc and it said windows could not set it up... have any tips? i filled in the network name and security key, clicked save and then clicked next and that's when it said that it could not be set up
