you can be any class and fly any ship if you want to be tatical it will only affect ground abilities for ships just get the cruiser and use your skill points for cruisers

Forgive me if this is a N00bish question. Is there a key u can press 2 automagically even out ur shield with the available shield power like in FreeSpace?

@maximum988 you can set it up adjusting shield power is a skill or power you can put on your tray or shortcut. but i dont use it since i use the mouse to adjust shields. 4 short portions take up a lot of keyboard space lol.

excellent vids, they tell me a lot of about the gameplay, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being great, how would you rate this game? is it worth playing?

@sherheart4ever i give it a 8 overall but 10 for gameplay. i dont like the "traveling" system but its not as time consuming to travel threw you can get around pretty fast. there traveling system leaves 3 loadings screens 1 for system 1 for planet and 1 for sector space (warp)

8/10 is impressive. its certainly has the feel of star trek, from the vids i have to say the away missions are probably the main weakness but still bearable. the space combat is what i've been looking for from ST, and i heard the fleet actions in STO would have 200-300 ships at a time.  Is everyone gonna be on 1 server? Which exp was better: klingon or federation? im partial to the fed but the klingon vids looked fun

@sherheart4ever lol so manny questions!!! klingons just got in so i cant say honestly but eventually they will have about the same content and xp gain. the away missions are nice give them more credit they are still rough on the design its still closed beta. from the weeks ive been in beta everything has improved from no shield graphics to smoother away missions and better combat.
