  • So much work, yes, and a great experience being in this film. Thanks for watching.

  • The amount of work that goes into just a couple-three-four seconds of actual filmed action of any kind is just amazing! This behind-the-scenes video clip demonstrates that. Who knew? Right? Absolutely astounding. Hats off to everybody in this clip. Bravo! :D

  • Latin bridals here **busizz4me.info**

  • cool so if i put gas on my self and light it am safe cool ! joke

  • there's a Stephen King novel on the book shelf thing!

  • please kids, try this at home

    XD

  • shawshank redemption the movie was better then the short story.

  • But IMO the book is BETTER (when will a movie be better than the book?)

  • waaaaait a minute... I just read the whole book last night and nobody got torched in starter fluid... must be something added in for the movie :P (I like it though)

  • kids do not try that at home!

  • that was funny. today were going to burn a kid on the set of "the mist" lol!

  • how did he not get burned

  • fire resistant goo

  • gr8 movie but a bit of a cheesy ending!

  • cheesy isnt the right word. its shitty

  • wow...the guy in the beggining sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about.

  • lol i agree

  • Sad and scary so good wanna watch it in theatres again

  • Many people liked it. Some people didn't. Everyone has different opinions and different tastes. Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean you have to thumb them down or try to sound hateful/rude to them. All the director of this movie was trying to do was to emulate the 50's B-movie style, because that's how King envisioned his story, in the first place. So if you see some bad acting, it's merely on purpose. Just open your mind a bit more and try to understand the reasons.

  • dude stfu your dumb as shit to think this movie has bad acting.

  • Amber:omg i can't belive he kill his son he sould have waited just a little bit longer

  • this is the best movie ever!

  • yes

  • I want to make my own movie.....munchy muncy time....

  • Just saw the movie. It's awesome! The ending is different from the book, but it still rocked! Watch this now!

  • Great Movie!!!!!

  • the movie looks likes its gonna be off the hizzle

  • it was

  • agreed

  • i just finished the book..

i think you could read it and still watch the movie

  • "The Mist" is a short story that can be found in the anthology "Skeleton Crew". Sorry for any confusion. :)

  • I hope that they dont butcher this like they do with most King book-to-movie transformations.

  • This is like dead on though except the ending is different.

  • Sweetage, the only problem now is that nowhere I know is showing it and I can't find it anywhere...

  • The story is definately creepy; a very different kind of horror- so yes, I would say read it. The story can be found in the book "Skeleton Crew".

  • The short story is a definite good read. I'm in the middle of it right now which is hilarious because I was an extra in the film when it was made. But the props folks bought every single copy in town for the movie and I haven't been able to get a copy until recently. Don't worry about the ending. I have a feeling it will be different than the book.

  • I hope we get a trailer for this soon. It'd be great to have two good Stephen King adaptations in one year (1408 was nice and creepy).

  • yeah that was awesome, i cant wait for this one :)

  • yeah the mist rules! i hope this movie will kick ass!! :D

  • If you haven't already, check out our website on myspace - themistextras. It was an honor for me to be one of the core extras who worked on this film for almost a month.

  • "the long walk"? i doubt that there will be a movie.

  • No way... "The Long Walk"? That'd be an interesting thing.

  • That's cool. I only noticed "The Shining", I didn't really know it was all his books (I guess the reason why I only noticed "The Shining" was because of how the cover was). Anyways, I'm sure Mr. Darabont is going to do the story justice. I mean, he did "Shawshank Redemption" and "Green Mile". Kinda makes me wish he would also do "Dolan's Cadillac".

  • If you pay close attention to the video at 1:56-2:04, you can spot a copy of Stephen King's "The Shining" on the book rack (the more recent publication of the novel).

  • An interesting fact about the book rack: The book rack was filled with all Stephen King's books and at one point in the movie there is a specific closeup of a photo of King from the back of one of the books. That shot was to be a substitution for a cameo of him in the movie. I remember them talking about it that day on set.

  • he is in all of his movies, right?

  • From what I understand, he has been in all his films.
