@charbcbc it was not because he was a "brother" you fucking moron. Kentucky is known for two things college basketball and the kentucky derby. So it is common for them to use derby references when calling basketball games sort of like when someone does something great and they are said to be "beast". Now me calling you a porch monkey is racists, but as a man of color myself i feel i can get away with it.
dirk is my cuz. always inspired me. saw this dunk when i was in the army. cats was amazed at the talent from lex. including my skills. love you dirk. poochie

Just another UK player that got paid to play there...UK,the greatest tradition of paying players in college basketball...from Adolph the racist Rupp to Eddie the drunk Sutton to John I'll fix your grades and pay your moms rent Calipari,no other school has done more to disgrace the sport than UK has
@2216gangsta pardon my language, but EAT SHIT, YOU FUCKFACED MORON! You speak of conspiracy and bullshit at that. Sutton a drunk? Sure, but big fucking deal! You cant bring up more than that? Rupp recruited the first ever african american in college basketball, but told the mother when she asked "can you guarantee me the safety of my boy?" , rupp replied "no, i cant". In that time, Rupp had to be real, it was out of his hands if some idiot comes and does something to him. Dont watch Glory Road.
The nastiest dunk I have ever seen in college ball. He stayed in the air so long it looked like someone slowed the tape down while he was in the air. Simply awesome!!!
Damn! I remember this guy. Wow that was a long time ago. I believe that was either in 83 or 84. I was in Evander Childs HS in the Bx, NY in 1983. Homeboy had mad hops. Funny enough, when Georgetown played them in the 84 semi-final, he wasn't their point guard. It was this kid wearing #11.
That was because Dirk graduated in 83. That was Dickey Beal at point for UK in the 84 final 4. Dirk's cousin Frank was an all pro corner for the Browns in the 80's. Awesome athletic genes in that family.
Dirk just MERKED. That's definitely my favorite dunk of all time. Nobody will ever top this.

That was unreal. It was like he jumped twice, the second time while in mid-air.

It's ashamed that Dirk went down the wrong path. Kudos to him for trying to make things right again.
