  • Anyone else laugh about how after talking about how scientifically accurate their simulation was the spacecraft made a bunch of sounds in space?

  • thumbs up if you noticed that VON BRAUN was a bussard ram jet

  • I luv SPACE!!!

    XD

  • what's the point in building this when in about 30 years time we will probably be able to make somethin that could go a lot faster and take over this fucker on it's way!

  • this is really cool!

  • what show is this? i want to see a different one i've seen this one over 1000 times and i wanna see a new one.

  • @herbatube Dide, this isn't real, and there is no scientific evidence for the existence of god, so it should be ignored for the time being. Also, don't shove your beliefs down other's throats, it makes you seem like a total prick.

  • NASA project was only a way to use the public money and send to some pockets. Oh

American how silly you are!!!! God can open your eyes.

  • Rocky balboa famous boxer :D

  • I saw this on TV a while back, only it was narrated by John Hannah. Glad to rewatch this!

  • 43 years later...

    alien 1: hey, whats that?

alien 2: dunno let's just shoot it down *pew*

    us: FUCK!

  • Who cares about other planets the important thing is if we could get to them

  • not to close and not to far.im sick hearing this shit all the time,im sure life can exist without a star (rouge planets)

  • @sask523 Or a planet sized spaceship?

  • @ImpartialAlien Or that

  • @sask523 rogue planets, please explain to me how any chemical reaction can happen on 3 K(almost absolute zero) which is the median temperature of space.

  • @smarty8975 under the surface of the ice, for example just like on europa a moon of jupiter. You know im not good in explaining stuff, just do reasearch on your on and you find out what i mean..

  • And my dick is 42 inches long

  • My earthling name is bob but on my home planet Darwin I go by giapolorpiascliakk

  • Most of you don't know this but.....i came from Darwin

  • I knew pokemon was real XD

  • does any one remeber one like this on discovery channel and it had a red alien in like a town i was 5 when it was aireed so my memory ain too good if you could i would be so thankful!

  • Call Gordon Freeman!

  • It's being narrated by DR COX!

  • thanks for uploading this

  • fuck off smart ass.

  • This is one game ok?kkkkk

  • Finally!! I found the video

  • does anyone remember a special like this on the science or discovery channel that had animal like trees and three eyed birds if so i would really like to know the title

(sorry about the description i was like 5 when it aired.... little fuzzy)

  • @15wileyr I'll try and have a look for you, I think I remember watching the same one. Did it have organisims that floated like balloons in it?

  • @ImpartialAlien yeah tons

  • @15wileyr Bluemoon that's the name of the show and i think it was national geographic

  • aliens are like "da fawk was dat?"

  • Wow Stephen Hawking Smartest Man Alive !

  • @lordsong7 so who is right?

  • NERDS!

  • @CarnardP Nothing's stopping them, but given the vastness of the universe and how much different shit is out there, there has to be an enormous variety of planets. Just look at our solar system, a group of planets within relatively close proximity to each other and not one of them has similar properties. Besides, even if they launched this Darwin mission, it could be millions of years before it lands on anything, and it might not even land on a planet. There's a lot of empty space out there.....

  • gee if thats what aliens from darwin look like, i wonder how they are in person LOL thats not funny :| but on a serious note, i hope there is life on that planet, that would be wicked

  • Ok 42 years!! So if the plant has life, in about 50 years would we be able to fly there; probably... If it also has smart life through their government we find the ship and contact us!!

  • @HubicPair97 Dude, no one can even BEGIN to describe the insignificance of our existence relative to the entire universe. How accurate do you think Hollywood is? Do you think they know shit about stuff like this? Probably not. With our tiny tiny little planet, separated by however many lightyears or other galaxies between alien planets, do you think there's a very good chance at all that they'd be even CLOSE to humanoid looking? HIGHLY unlikely.

  • Hey guys, as it comes out, that guy lordsong7 is just another religious freak. We won't be able to persuade him in anything. Enjoy the video. Many thanks to uploader.

For him, as he's saying that science is lies, I'd recommend him stop using all products of scientific consciousness, and as a first step - throw away his computer! Second, go to a monastery for a voluntary self-lockdown. Hey, lordsong7, you'll please your god. You may even pray for our lost souls.

Thumbs up if you agree. :)

  • @FastGreenFCF

    OMG, another religious freak? ROTFLMAO

U take the cake as yet another dumb atheist with zero knowledge on anything but cracker jack box science.

  • @lordsong7

Oh man, I'll be sure to let Stephen Hawking, Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology, at DAMTP in Cambridge, author of over 190 publications, recipient of fifteen medals including the highest one available to a civilian offered by the United States (Presidential Medal of Freedom) that Gary the Creationist from YouTube thinks he's a knob.

    I'm sure he'll be crushed.

  • @andymcgaha

Well poor little you - you truly believe that credentials and books makes one infallible.

Your infallible science idol Pope Hawking, has lost it sonny.

    Nothing "generates itself". Sorry.

If Hawking is now in denial of this, his mind is now as sick as his body.

Considering you demonstrate the usual atheist anti science idiocies and u clearly know nothing, I'll take your inane "proof of ur own stupidity" comment with a smile.

  • @lordsong7

Who said anything about infallible? I'm just making fun of the silly tosser who thinks one of the most lauded scientists on earth has become, as this internet silly put it; "an idiot" and "insane."

Absolutely he can make mistakes! He's not some fictional character like Jesus or something; I'm just making fun of the fact that you're ridiculous! :D

  • @andymcgaha fictional character like Jesus?

    ROTFLMAO

u dimwitted loser, Hawking has lost it big time

    Nothing generates itself . Duh!

The potential energy of nothing is nothing - go get an education in basic physics

  • @lordsong7 Your obviously very sharp. I don't know how for a second Satan ever thought those Dinosaur fossils were going to fool you.

  • @ImpartialAlien i like u impartial alien :).....just thought u'd like to know

  • @ImpartialAlien Dinosaurs were real stupid.

  • @MasterDM90 sarcasm, learn it.

  • @ImpartialAlien Lol it's you're, not your.

    but other wise funny comment.

  • @AgrivatedKillah Ya got me! Touché.

  • @lordsong7 Face it, you're just a bunch of molecules dancing around, and when you're dead, you're just a dead piece of rotting organics, similar to that in your car's fuel tank. ;)

  • @FastGreenFCF

    Prove it?

Man r u in for a nasty surprise.

U dullard atheists are all immune to all logic.

So the universe created itself out of nothing?!

    Thats the new physics?

ROTL is the only serious response to such stupidity

  • @lordsong7 Prove what, excuse me? The big bang theory? I'm not a physicist ask them, if you're not afraid. I'm a biologist, and I can assure you that you're just a biochemical machine. Need proofs? Google it. But avoid your religious bullshit sites. We now can make an artificial cell, so what, are we gods? By the way, what can you prove? That we were created by god? How? Citing Bible? C'mooon... :-D

The last thing. Who are you? I'm sure you know science only from your college, and not very good

  • @FastGreenFCF

Sorry but u'r totally wrong. We r not mere biochem machines.

And no there is no proof of anything even close.

Life does not "spontaneously generate itself" and no there is no proof of that either -indeed the whole body of evidence says quite the contrary

You've been sold the whole materialism idiocy as truth but it isn't and its easy to prove it.

Religious bullshit? Ya materialism is religious BS indeed.

Nothing creating everything is the BS U R FORCED to believe

  • @lordsong7 Remind me, what's the difference between 'nothing creating something' and an unproven supreme being, which itself apparently came from nothing, creating everything? The answer? There is no diffrence.

  • Comment removed

  • @lordsong7 Haha, face it, you're just a bunch of molecules dancing around ant interact, and when this movement stops you're just a pile of rotting organics. ;)

  • @lordsong7 Yes because chemical reactions forming more complex chemical reactions is ridiculous it had to have been an omnipresent magician that creates free willed followers then punishes them for using that free will to question things *rolls eyes*

  • @lordsong7 Most biologists think that it is indeed possible for life to spontaneously generate itself. Pre-biotic self-replicating molecules are found in nature all over the place and can be seen as a precursor to 'life'. So your assertion that we already 'know' better is without merit. Your predisposition to ignore anything that doesn't support your notion of creation aside, don't over state your case.

  • @lordsong7 well im not the sure if its sure but Hawking said that molecules inside of mud pools are bouncing around and for about a million years the perfect match of molecules came together to create simple life

  • @geek2thextreme

there is no such thing as simple life - and Hawing knows it. So he's also a con man now.

Nothing is more complex than life because DNA is never simple.

  • @lordsong7 Wow at you calling him an idiot when even in a wheel chair he possesses more intelligence than you.

  • @AgrivatedKillah

Gee - What does being in a wheel chair have to do with IQ?

Ur IQ can't be bigger than ur shoe size judging by such a dumb cheap shot.

Hawking was a brilliant cosmologist, but he's seriously lost it on this one -big time.

Everyone that knows the the total energy of "nothing" is nothing.

Maybe u should try to figure that out huh?

Hawking is now just another educated fool because his inane insistence that there be no god has led him down the path of folly..

  • @lordsong7 Wow at "there be no god"

So you're a religious nut?..... blocked...

  • @AgrivatedKillah

No but u obviously are a nut case, period.

Look at ur stupid pseudonym -agrivated killah?! ROTFLMAO

Let me guess, ur barely 13 and already full of bitterness & acute naivety. Ur mom know that u can't stop masterbating?

Oh, and fyi, Einstein, Newton, Maxwell, Kelvin, Leibniz, Townes, HEISENBERG, PLANCK, FARADAY, ..... a very long list, far longer than any list of atheists ...

were all, by your uncouth and deeply disturbed definition, "religious nuts"

  • @lordsong7 ....

    Damn that was corny.

Fine insult me but "can't stop masturbating was extremely corny"

And making fun of a name I made when I was 13...yeah.. thats so nice.

Einstein wasn't religious..why did you include him?

  • @AgrivatedKillah

Sure insults are all u understand and even then ...

Einstein was no atheist so why should I not include him?

I've wasted enuff time with a blind follower of the blind like you ...

Atheists are the most crude ignoramuses and the worst logicians on earth -well along with Darwinists of course who are mostly atheist nerds -gee that explains and sums up Darwinism pretty much too ...

When u get ur mind off HOLD u might try looking for the truth for once in ur miserable life

  • @lordsong7 If your guessing he's 13, why would you make an inappropiate comment like that?

  • @ImpartialAlien

Inappropriate? Why? In atheist terms svp

Nothing can be inappropriate under atheism because "no ultimate foundations for ethics exist"

If no ultimate base exists then all foundations r mere relativism, hence no morals at all have any binding power over anyone at all

Under atheism, since theres no supreme mind to enforce any invented morals, there is no moral law & all invented laws r just the tyranny of the ones over the others

Ergo in atheism nothing is inappropriate

    See?

  • @lordsong7 I admire your use of rhetoric, as I am also well versed in nomenclature, and I'm sure you're the winner of many arguments. However, I find your response to my statement prosaic and contumacious. From here on I shall write in the vernacular.

Firstly, you base your argument on the canonical belief that 'God' created the moral/ethical compass when in fact man did. I guess you'll probably direct me to God's revelation at Sinai where he gave Moses the ten commandments.

  • @lordsong7Secondly how exactly does a 'supreme mind' enforce moral behavior? Your leitmotif seems to be a battle against atheism. Good luck with that considering you can't prove God exists, and even if you could what makes you think atheists would care? Your argument is counterintuitive, all social groups have their own ethical codes and morals but ultimately people choose for themselves how to behave. You chose to make a sexual remark to a person you were assuming was 13 years old.

  • @Iordsong Atheists are not so lucky and have to learn from their mistakes and become aware of their short-commings in order learn and act differently in the future. It would certainly appear that under such a system of guaranteed forgivness from God, things would have the potential to go completely Mad Max esque. You are correct in one thing, there is no moral law that has any power over anyone.

  • @Iordsong So that being the case, why do most people act with a common sense of decency and respect for one another despite the fact they don't have to? (the main exception being of course arguing on the internet) My answer is that as pack animals we figured out that its the best way to go about things,

  • @Iordsong or maybe, thats just the way we always were, it was nobodys idea, it was just like we all shared a simple but common ethical bond, and all this was happpening a million years before Modern man invented God.

  • @lordsong7

what a bunch of losers atheists are.

Amazing how they "believe" so strongly that there is no absolute that they are absolutely sure of it!!

    lol

U nits seriously need psychiatric help to get over your religious programming into scientism and stupidity passing as "smart".

As most know and the rest are finding out, the New Atheists are the worst philosophers of any century ever.

  • @lordsong7 I do agree that the ignorancy if directly rejecting any theory related to religion, but out of a scientific sight, the believe in a god as any religion tells just can't be, nonetheless, when trying to come to the essence of the universe, the only solve we can think of right now IS religion, right as it was intended.

Religion was a creation by us, we invented it to clarify things our minds could not comprehend, and perhaps we maybe got a part of the solve with that, maybe not.

  • 3:14

42 years. :D 42, you guys. Significant number if you're nerdy enough to recognize it.

  • @andymcgaha I will have to give your comment some 'deep thought'.

  • When I first saw this show announced, I was immediately hooked! By no means am I a Sci-Fi fan, I don't own any Start Wars films, nor do I pay attention to any stereotypical "nerd" cult such as Star Trek or Lord of the Rings, but I'll be damned - This is THE BEST alien-life documentary I have ever seen, by far!

What I love about it is how scientific it is, yet at the same time, so entertaining! Awesome! And amazing that this is not better-known.. What a well-kept secret, gem of a doc this is :)

  • this is better than most movies ive seen! Im a big fan of fanfiction, and this is like someone like me got a budget and a crew.

  • The Von Braun? Is SHODAN aboard, too?

  • Been looking for this for 4 years.

  • @FighterGuDude3214 well than welcome here

  • @chuggaminime thx

  • this is old i've seen this like 4-5 years ago and i've been looking for it ever since

  • victoria meadows is the most adorable nerd ever. She looks like mother goose!

  • I bet this mission would have cost 5-15 trillons of dolars

  • @rsexplorer20 Yes, it would possibly cost even more. However, judging on how the twisted economy works, I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow made the money.

  • OMG!!! 20% of the speed of light!!! That real fast I cant wait :D

  • first 20 seconds of the video......can anyone tell me that statement by the chief scientist was a success?? :D

  • XEN EXISTS

When asses need to be kicked, Gordom Freman must be called

  • @Nachoidess

    1: Xen isn't really a planet 2: lol

  • ''I see primates but they will always be chimps, gorillas, or orangutans. They will never be anything else. Why is science dead set we are descendants from them?''lol calm dude, thats just what i got from your comment. No ''twisting'' was done. Rofl ''you atheist pigs''? wtf. I wish i could beleive what you do i truly do. Ive been going to a christian youth group every friday hoping that faith will rub off on me. next time try be nicer and not spontaneously militant towards different opinions

  • I like the crazy looking aliens in this documentary

  • thanks for the upload!

  • coooooooooooool

  • Me agrada planeta sin humanos.

  • que imaginacion...pero posible.

  • So stupid, they asume life evolved here on earth, so they look for it in other parts of the universe. That money in your wallet, and the car in the driveway evolve to I guess.

  • @NCAstronut That was, by far, the stupidest thing I've ever read.. Anywhere.

  • @braddudeguy Thanks, Thats how stupid a person would have to be to belive in evolution.

  • @NCAstronut Or the fact that you think non-living things can evolve. Thinking they can reproduce and have genetic variabilities that could cause them to evolve over time. You don't understand evolution do you?

  • @braddudeguy Yes sir, I understand how it works, I have in fact looked in to it quite thoroughly. I'm glad it works for you, and others. But not me, if you get enough geeks to agree on any one thing, you can turn ice cream into brains on paper.

  • @NCAstronut Evolution is happening in our on society. Did you have wisdom Teeth? The answer is most likely yes. But the fact of the matter is, less and less people (including my own siblings) are being born and not developing wisdom teeth at all. Wanna know why? Because we no longer have a use to for them and EVOLUTION is making them disappear in society. Small genetic differences cause evolution, it doesn't happen over night.

  • @braddudeguy It's genes not evolution, We don't evolve different colors of eyes or hair, it's genetics. I don't see evolution no where, and I'm probably three times your age. Evolution is what they teach, but that does not make it TRUTH, or FACT. It's just a bunch of opinions, or so called well educated people. They want you to believe it so much, they teach it as fact, and fill young kids minds full of this nonsense. There is no evidence to that can be verified buy a single person to prove it.

  • @NCAstronut Genetics tell your body what to grow, when to grow it, and how big. You can agree with that. If you can't this discussion is over. Thousands of years have gone by since we needed wisdom teeth, now with reproduction and genetic differences, they are going away. That sir, is evolution. However you think it just happens over night don't you? You may be 3 times my age, but I'm 3 times as smart as you.

  • @braddudeguy No I don't believe it happens over night. Because evolution is B.S. Why did only one version of Mankind evolve? If evolution is so simple, and easy, why did man not come about thru another means. I see primates but they will always be chimps, gorillas, or orangutans. They will never be anything else. Why is science dead set we are descendants from them? because that that would make us nothing but an Animal. We did not evolve from anything. We were created as Men & Woman. I'm done.

  • @NCAstronut You're done? If this was a test you failed. No other animal has evolved into man because every animal evolves differently. There were primates that evolved into Apes, Orangutan, and MAN. They aren't evolving into man because they don't have the genes to. We have the genes to grow fully functioning tails. They just went away, like the genes for wisdom teeth are. Because we no longer need them. We were animals, we are animals, and will always BE animals. There, now I'm done.

  • @NCAstronut LOL its funny cause you think we evolved from chimps xD

  • @hazzaza1 I said no such thing. You took what I said and twisted it to sound that way. You atheist pigs, say we came about thru evolution from descendants from primates. I guess an aquarium rock evolved from asphalt to. Everything you see and use was made, just like you dumbass, your parents did not evolve you, you were made, ie created. God Have mercy on your soul. ( but i doubt it.)

  • @NCAstronut lol, I'll love the expression on your face the day we find life on other planets.

  • Comment removed

  • @Gmantis14 Look how long they have already been looking, if life evolved here, then it should have evolved other places possibly much earlier than here on earth, maybe billions of your so called years before, then migrated all over the universe. You should find life all over the solar system, and throughout the whole universe. I can tell you now, it's a waste of time, and money. It will only be found in a geeks formula, by crunching numbers, theoretical wishfull paper life forms. Not Real Life..

  • @NCAstronut dude its sad how your arguing over something you can't win. Hate to tell ya but i think you missed the last news report of us FINDING A PLANET that can hold life!!!! isn't that fascinating??! we have found a liveable planet!!!

  • Wonderful...

  • Why does Stephen Hawking have to use that ugly voice on his chair all the time instead of a real nicer one? Isn't he super smart? Didn't he read the manual?

  • @reaktionmusic He has a motor illness that caused him to lose the ability to move at a young age, and was unable to speak when he received surgery due to having pneumonia during his illness. So basically using the chair is the only way he can communicate. For more info just go to wikipedia.

  • @reaktionmusic haha! good question. I guess like anything else you get used to your artificial voice as much as you get used to your regular one and maybe it would be weird to change it after all these years.. And maybe the chair is super-comfy. I don't have lou gherig's or anything... but i DO have chronic bone and joint pain due to illness. And if i've learned anything about ergonomics in that time it's that the ugliest setups are often the most comfortable. ^_^

  • why did boboa or w/e fail ? :(
