ha. i was at my uncles job tonight (lexus mechanic) and decided to pull myself on an office chair with my 3.3 tmaxx...that was awesome. haha. but later that night my throttle servo went haywire and got PINNED at full throttle....for fucks sake....any ideas why this happened? oh and this was about an hour after i just got done spending a few hours rebuilding my tranny b/c my set screw came out....

Cool Vid!! I am thinking of getting a gas r/c does the Tmax flip alot? I drove a Revo and kept flipping it, you have to basically stop to turn. Is a Jato tall enough not to let grass slow it down?

@gdogdem tmaxx flips easier than revo, jato is 2 wheel drive and not good in grass or dirt. U can get a Traxxas Slash Nitro and they are awesome race trucks, but the revo is great for all around use, yyou just gotta learn how to drive it and how to set it up to your driving style.

nitros run just like a diesel anyway. its all compression ignition, and glow plugs.

It technically is a deisel because the fuel is burned from only compression. These small rc's have no spark plugs, just a very tiny glow plug. Yes you need a glow plug heater to start it.

im am a 91 b in the army which means i am a diesel mechanic an almost all rc cars are two stroke diesels which means they have no vavlves an run only on compression an do not need an ignition system while running . so technically these are diesel engines because they build enough compression to run with out a spark , so therefore u have just seen a diesel engine, it doesnt have to be big to be a diesel it just has to run only on compression to be considered a diesel

The O.S 1.8 is a faster motor,It's used for Racing because you get more rpms out of it and more acceleration, but a loss of power. The O.S 1.8 would pull the kids faster, but u'd need a running start.
