I do most of my work for a private service in Essex called 1st MediCare. I predominately work as a First Aider, however I am currently training to be an EMT (on-going 'on the job' training with the private service) therefore I work well outside of my skill level as an FA when actually on a duty with them.
I also work for East of England Amb Trust as a community responder.
I will soon also be an EMT. I work at private events at the moment as Emergency Life Support. I also help out my local St John Ambulance division when they are short of staff.
I am looking to become a retained firefighter at the moment in somerset (Street) and wholetime in LFB. The fire service in somerset want Co-Responders and i have the skills so why not eh?
How exactly is spewing out even more pollution helping kids. Deaths from pollution related respiratory disease runs into the thousands in London,& motorised transport is the number one cause of death of young people. Lining children up to breath in the small diesel fume particles is particularly sick.
which Ambulance Service do you work for and what as (EMT, Tech, Paramedic?)
