It is said that the americans fought to the last man at the alamo which is what the americans claimed but it is well known that the mexican army had a "take no prisoners" approach which is the cause for controversy to this day in mexico's war against drugs. I believe these men did not fight to the last man but surrendered and were executed to the last man which is more in line with how the mexican army conducted itself during that era.

Thousands of people denounced the film Birth of a Nation when that racist shit came out. Both Blacks and Whites denounced it. Griffith was a vile racist.
