The R&R Hall of Fame is a joke. The inductees are a random mish-mash of performers, most of which either had very little influence on rock music (Bob Seger, John Mellancamp, Traffic) or had nothing to do with rock music at all (Madonna, Earth Wind & Wire, Percey Sledge) - and just to make it even more of a shambles, several inductees have been inducted more than once...Eric Clapton's been inducted THREE TIMES. It's an embarrassment, and Alice is too good for it.
