This movie is incredible. It shows that no matter how old you are, if you want to make things happen, you just go for it, and you never know how it will turn out. It's about taking chances and giving life a real shot. This movie is amazing. Mark Wahlberg is super hot. And everyone in this movie was awesome. The guy that played Vince's dad. That scene when he is there for his son is so touching. This is one of the best movies of all time. My favorite Mark Wahlberg movie.

both is true the eagles did have open tryouts now they do it only for college because you need some experience but the chances are slim but if your dedicated like vince then you can do it

The real Vince Papale actually played 2 years of pro bowl in the defunct WFL before making it to the NFL. The whole "open tryouts for the regular man" bit is all Hollywood fantasy. No NFL team either today or in the 70s would pull a stunt like that a pit regular guys against experienced NFL players.
