These ladies honor us by giving their lifes up for the American Idea. How can a individual like me honor them ? All I can do is to pray for them and hope that their lives they have given up will be honored in the highest standard. I do not know anything else I can give to them personally.
As a US Army vet and woman, I like to say thank you for such a mice tribute to the women who served and gave all. They not only had to be soldiers but had to put up with the few men who treated them wrongly because they were women in a war zone, even though they were sisters in arms.
we can do it just as well as men..thank you guys who support us women serving and to my fellow soldiers that risked there lives i hope youre some where smiling down ....

War is a horrible thing and it is sad that these beautiful ladies lost their lives. However, Afghanistan and Iraq have nothing to do with freedom and democracy.
Rest in Peace; all of you. As you fought to protect the rest of us; you are now guarding saint peter's gate in heaven; my hat's off to you; all my sisters in arms; past; present; and future.
to mushakal-no one sits back and watches people die--have you ever seen such a thing? probably not. know of which you speak...okay? As for wordly gains; you need to tell that to them politicians --not the soldiers who risk their lives so you can sit on your computer and rage about being "deluded"--someone has to defend you; along with the rest of us ; silly!
Too much nauseating sentimentality in these comments. The military is notorious for its large population of thugs, bullies and simple minded GI Joes... and women still want to enlist? Unbelievable! I think Lavens Johnson was mentioned in one post- take note girls.
The British military may be notorious for its large population of thugs, bullies and simple minded GI Joes but the United States Military is a lot better than that. The rest of the world depends on the US to bail them out and our military is usually there to help. I'm proud to be an American who served in the Military and I'm even prouder of the American women who've chosen to serve. Their spirit and dedication will never be equalled by the women in any other country. Thanks for your interest.
I was being sarcastic. Sara6813 who is a Brit says "the military is notorious for its large population of thugs, bullies and simple minded GI Joes." I know that is NOT TRUE of the United Statesa Military I assumed that she was giving me her perception of the British Military. I know trhat she's wrong about them too. I apologize for offending anyone in the Military. I've actually served with the Brits and have the greatest respect for them. Apparently Sara6813 does not. Thanks for your interest.
I am a member of the US Navy and we honor those who have gone before us. I have thought about this decision and whether I could give my life for a fellow shipmate, and if that answer is yes...then follow your heart and join. If not, please...find a different path in life. I honor all of those on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan. But it is a way of life and you have to be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, if it comes to that. God bless our women in the Military.
R.I.P. Ladies.... May God bless you and thank you. I'm in the military and it makes me want to stay in. To fight to protect us from losing more lives.
It should make you think seriously about joining the military. It shows that women (as well as men) can die in the military. You need to give serious consideration to your decision. It's not just a job. It's a way of life and it's a commitment that will take precedence over your family. And it can put you in some various dangerous situations. It's also travel, education, adventure, a chance to associate with the finest people in the world and an opportunity for growth. Thanks for your interest.

It is disgusting that people think it is a good thing that our country's women are being killed when they don't have to be. It is twisted logic that men like me who want to keep them out of combat, and by extension keep them from being maimed, raped and killed, are supposed to be somehow antiwoman. My heart goes out to these women and their families, but for me this video is evidence of how the gender integration of the military has been a disaster, and is morally reprehensible.
@jim56o45 I can understand where you are coming from and that you are not truly sexist, but as a young woman who is considering joining the military as a career I have to disagree. I know that if I were captured during a tour, my treatment during imprisonment would proberly be worse than a man's, but for woman to have equal rights with men we must share equal risks.
I didn't have permission to use the music I wanted to use. Youtube told me to change the music or remove the video. I picked some music from a really bad list of choices and this is what I'm left with. Sorry. Thanks for your interest.

Wow I cried all through that video...Thanks for sharing that amazing tribute!God rest their souls. They were all so Beautiful and BRAVE.I know they will be sadly missed Forever! My heart goes out to their loved ones.I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy I was in during desert storm.God Bless!
Thank you so much for sharing this video. Our sisters in arms will never be forgotten. They will be forever remembered. Women in the military have to work harder to receive the respect that they deserve. Their strength in character is at their highest caliber one could expect at all times. I'm proud of all of them that have served before me, when I served alongside them, and those that are serving now, and these sisters that are gone from this earth. GOOD ON YA!
I serve with most outstanding females in Iraq I have up most respect for them they pull their weight right along side of the males. I would given my life to save any one of them and I know they would done the same for me. I hate it when people say women do not belong in the military. They have a strength many males soldiers lack. Thank god for the female soldiers they are strong part of our armed forces.
I out shoot many of them. I keep my legs closed so calling me a whore is out. I serve my country the best i can. Im often one of the last to leave and one of the first to arrive everyday. Ive had officers say that im a good example for everyone. Im not trying to toot my horn, im not looking for a good job im just trying to show that im a woman in the army that sweats and bleeds with the guys so how am i different and how are those women on the video any different? They died, they deserve respect
i am a single mom in the military in all male unit and i get called names because half of them want to sleep with me . I still can take a few of them on without anything but thats just a male ego. I try to contiNue setting examples and demanding respect . You set the tone where you go I told them I was born to lead so they can get the hell out my way. How you gonna outsmart a woman when you came from one? The guys in my unit respect me NOW.
some dont seem to relize how hard a woman has to work in the military to prove themselves because of their gender. It was a proud day when i was told that the guys said im just one of the guys but with boobs and that i work hard. You know what that means? i earned respect. I do my job and do it as best that i can. I told the guys DO NOT HELP ME IF YOUR NOT WILLING TO HELP A GUY OUT WITH THE SAME THING. I dont stand to the side, i get in and help. Im not alone. What do you men want?
It's amazing to me. These women died as patriots, and there are men who call them whores, or weak. Most of which have never had the privelage to serve beside a woman in a war. What's even more amazing are the women who have been conditioned to agree with those men. If anything, women in the military are STRONGER because of the extra challenges they face and the lack of respect they get for what they do, ESPECIALLY from civilian males. It's disgusting for a country that calls itself "free"
This makes me sad, but as my boyfriend fights in Afghanistan, and I make plans to enlist, I feel so proud of all Military men and women. This really opened my eyes. War is a scary thing, and when citizen's enlist it is an honor to serve your Country, however we never enlist thinking the worst, only the best, and unfortunately during war lives are lost. a warm, and sincere thank you to all Military, I appreciate the sacrifices you have made for me and this Country.
Thank you to all the Brave Soldiers Men and women,Thank you for this beautiful Rememberance of why we are free, and and may God Bless all the Families whose loved ones paid the ultimate sacrifice. Let the soldiers return soon.
That was absolutely outstanding and heartbreaking. You put a great deal of thought and effort into that video. It is wonderful and tragic. Let's hope you won't have to be adding many more pictures.
someone needs to be tried for war crimes for starting such a stupid war and letting it continue. Its easy to say "let them stay" when it's not your family member over there. What a loss. Women make the country strong. They are the heart and soul of the USA. Rest in peace.
More Americans need to see this and the service being done overseas. Maybe after seeing this the average American sitting at home watching FOX news report the casualties for the day will have a better understanding... the number will not be so ambiguous and they will actually be able to connect faces with the numbers.
To each and every one of you beautiful, brave Americans. I have not cried in 40 years until just now. Thank you , God Bless You. Rest in peace, your duty done and very much appreciated. We will honor your memory and NEVER forget you.
STILL A WASTE!! STILL, Smedley Butler has the nail hit square on the head--"war is a racket--a few profit, the many pay." Trouble is, people just don't learn. We didn't learn from Vietnam.
As a Desert Storm vet and damned lucky not to have gotten as we used to say back then waxed...bring them all home. Let Iraq find their own way...these kids have done enough. Before anyone calls names...my nephew did fourteen months there, I did four and nephew's dad did six...some families have given enough...next time let the rich one's fight it, let the Bush family, let Cheyney's family send their kids and I'll stop yelling...enough of our kids have died.
With all do respect, sir, I don't believe that they should be called kids. I do understand what you are saying though and thank you for your service, sir. To all those who have lost their lives in this war, RIP, to those still fighting, thank you and come home safe.
God Bless them all. What a waste. All these beautiful ladies..gone. Moms, wives, daughters, cousins, sisters, girlfriends, fiancees', ....all winners to me. I was shocked that I saw Lt.Emily Perez on here. She just graduated West Point not too long ago. Sad, sad, sad. Bless them all. Beautiful ladies. My deepest respects to their loved ones.
Lt Campbell was a friend of mine... we were staitoned at the same FOB in Iraq... Her passing was really hard and it still is. But thank you for this tribute video you made for all of these beautiful women who have passed on.
Your duty done, come home to rest, you live in our hearts. No more to war, no more from home. Your duty done, stand down! Be at peace, for the nation will keep watch over you and gaurd where you lay, your duty done...
There is something rare inside a person when they have the courage to stand up and be the one to take up responsibility for the safety of their country. We dont thank them enough for what they do.
This was beautiful. I want everyone to remember Black, White, Brown and all the mixes that we have to unite as a nation, as one. I am proud to say I am an American. I am proud of our soldiers. I love my country and envy and admire those who serve it. I am greatful and saddend. I pray for thoose families who have lost theirs for all of us to be free. Love eachother, respect eachother, be proud to be an American.
Thank you so much for remember that not only do we also serve, but we also die. Once a Woman Marine, I am so thankful that others are finally honoring our service and sacrifices. My service sisters are in my heart and I gladly share the honor of being one of the few, the proud.
I share the sentiments of MoscowTom and tktseller. As a USMC vet (1979-82), I was very moved by this tribute to the women who made the ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom. Thank you so much for making this video.
This is sad. We're used American men dying in wars and rarely heard about the women who died. This gives a whole new way for me, personally, to see the servicemen and women.
GOD BLESS the USA and all whohave and are still serving.
Thank`s for given all they can, remember all of them. No one will be forgoten, and my hard cry out, bring them home to their familys. God bless them and save the troops.
The girl at 3:26, I think about her often. I read about her story and how she passed. These women are amazing and I love that this tribute was created. May they all rest in peace. I wish they were still here with us. God Bless
this made me cry... i cant even begin to thank you for creating this and all of the women(and men) fighting over seas. this could very easily be my mom but by some miracle she hasnt been sent over yet.
...Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie... Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow ...
What an awesome but sad video. Guys I am sorry but years ago this war started. Today we are still fighting for peace. BUSH YOUR plan didnt work, its time to BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW. Get your ass out of office and let someone clean this mess up. Our families lives are being taken everyday. These faces on this video PAID a HARD price so that we may do what we want while they are scared for life. God Bless
wow! and these are only some of the women that died imagine all the men women and children who were also killed during these wars and all the other wars that have ever ravanged the earth.
These ladies honor us by giving their lifes up for the American Idea. How can a individual like me honor them ? All I can do is to pray for them and hope that their lives they have given up will be honored in the highest standard. I do not know anything else I can give to them personally.

Beautiful Tribute video!
More Americans need to see this and the service being done overseas. Maybe after seeing this the average American sitting at home watching FOX news report the casualties for the day will have a better understanding... the number will not be so ambiguous and they will actually be able to connect faces with the numbers.

WAY too many have died!
We need to get the frig out of their country, and stop calling them terrorists for trying to defend their own country!
We have sent our children to hell. Let's bring the rest back before they die.
This war is WRONG!

I was shocked that I saw Lt.Emily Perez on here. She just graduated West Point not too long ago. Sad, sad, sad. Bless them all. Beautiful ladies. My deepest respects to their loved ones.

God Bless

If in this land of sand swept winds, and searing heat,
It should be that my life ends, my duty done.
Do not leave me here with those that caused my death,
Bring me home to rest in gentle sunshine, rain or snow,
And i will sleep content in this my native earth.
