I thought this was the 2 valve to 4 valve "hyper" VTEC not the variable valve lift VTEC like is motor cars? Keeps torque down low, releases the beast up high? Hell I want one tho, done with the 250 and really want a Honda now :)

I had a look on the website for these bikes (cb400) apparently its restricted so it can only do speed of something (can't remember what) because of the Japanese law, but the easiest way to sort it out is to put a converter on the speed thing, into mph and then the bike will be able to do much more....

I've got a 250 Hornet (stock exhaust) and it has hit ~180 before going off the clock. Not sure how accurate the speedos are at that speed though so realistically I'd take 30 off. It got there much slower than your 400 though.

Well, I am not sure about the gauge accuracy too. Anyway, it was the only time my bike went over the clock and it's my friend who did it!

My maximum speed is 140 kmh!
