btw, what do you mean about kids getting beat up over not dancing? It's wierd since in richmond, va if you dance instead of push (to a metal band) you'll get your ass kicked.
My bad, sorry the Red Chord is from an area where you get beat like a nerds dick if you try to push mosh in a pit. I'll say it once I'll say it again. Don't say shit about dancing if you're watching a hardcore band. Fucking tards. -xbensonjewelsx
red chords far from hardcore haha. there like there own genre, and i was at a show the other week and there was PLENTy of push moshing , it was more of a mix...but fuck it whatever, moshing or dancing this bands sick as fuck
The Red Chord has breakdowns, that makes them at least a little hardcore, I'm sorry if I don't get mixed up in genres but I refer to most bands with breakdowns as hardcore, even though they do have many influences, trust me, I bought Fused Together in Revolving Doors when it came out back in 02 when I was eleven. I know their sound and what I think could be infulences, but yes, they are not and never will be the "hardcore" that is the beatdown toughguy shit that shouldnt be polluting the ariway
like I said bro, I don't get mixed up in genres that much, if a band has breakdowns, i just refer them to hardcore, I mean, I just don't feel the need to have 235 different subgenres of music on my ipod, even though they are grindcore, they aren't straight grindcore like say...pig destroyer. or agoraphobic nosebleed.
You mean those white belt Karate kids? They can't mosh worth shit. And This isn't a hardcore Band if you can tell. Plus the way the white belt karate kids punch is like a 5 year old girl punching me. To you're thing. Genres are fucking confusing. The Red CHord is METAL
haha wow, ever met someone who couldn't just drop something? Me and you, from different areas, different subcultures. My subculture=you dance, not push mosh at shows, your subculture= push mosh not dance. Grow a brain, learn to deal with others ways of life and not bitch about it, you'll be happier in the long run. And if you want to hate on the physical punishment that's dished out, I mean, I've had broken bones at a show, focus on someone who really knows what they're doing not an emo kid.
this band helped make the deathcore genre

Since people seem to care...This is deathcore. They have elements of grind/death metal, and hardcore/metalcore. It's not really worth arguing about.
