  • excellent classic movie, strongly recommend to everyone.. Lucio Fulci at his best

  • The Best Horror movie all time

  • Modern horror movies suck! Back in the old days they would use real sharks, and real zombies!

  • The eyeball scene always makes me squirm. For it's time, the special effects in that particular scene were phenomenal.

  • in The Walking Dead and World War Z, zombies would eat any living thing. I'm not sure about sharks though. I think they are more attracted to warm blooded animals.

  • the blond chick that gets her eye gouged and the brunette that gets her neck bitten are so DAMN HOT!!!!

  • pretty good

  • for me nothing compare the original dawn of the dead, neither the romero's movies that come after, but as an italian, i love Fulci, and the zombie make up in this film is by far one of the best i ever seen.

  • @UnknowSoldier87 dont forget the makeup in burial ground

  • Their coming to eat is all !

  • great movie...

  • Are zombi 2 and zombie the same movie?

  • @oookick yes

  • @oookick Zombi in America, Zombi 2 in Italy ( I beleive Dawn of the Dead was called Zombi over there, so thats why)

  • @oookick it was also released as Zombie, Island of the Living Dead, Zombie Island, Zombie Flesh Eaters and Woodoo . I saw it on vhs as Zombie Flesh eaters

  • necro (rapper) used that sample for one of his album tracks

  • Very Good Music XD

  • ZOMBI 2 THE GREATEST ZOMBIE'S MOVIE OF ALL TIME WITHOUT DOUBT! THIS MOVIE IS A REAL ZOMBIE STORY, WITH WOO-DOO RITUAL AND MANY SUPERCULT SCENES!!!

  • I prefer this over the Romero, Zombie films. this movie has always rocked and stood alone for its greatness. Now I am not knocking down the Romero films cause they are great. but always will keep a special place for Zombie as number 1

  • brilliant zombie film,

i would say its even better than romero's dawn of the dead and that is a master piece

  • no it not rip off this is preqel to night of the living dead

  • @swinson1000 no its a prequel to Dawn, if you even look at it as a prequel.

  • Yeah, I know, they cashed in on DOTD. They only had the ground, the sky, gore, people, zombies, and killing in common.......

  • How is Zombi 2 (AKA Zombie AKA Zombie flesh eaters AKA Woodoo AKA Island of the living dead AKA Zombie island) a sequel to dawn of the dead? They just tried to cash in on DOTD

  • @Dethrocksyay it isnt a sequel, fulci's movie was actually put into production before dawn, but when dawn came out and had huge commercial success, they decided to name it after dawn,(in italy Zombi)- so, zombi 2 was created.

  • Great unforgettable Lucio Fulci

  • Wow, way to get the most memorable scenes in the movie. In this case, y can't anyone just post the entire dang movie online?

  • I used to not mind CGI except... when you look at it nowadays, it just looks so lazy compared to the basic puppetry and makeup that look almost completely real.

After all, most of the time, when can you NOT tell that it's computer graphics?

  • Most of the action scenes were in this clip.

  • @77anonimo YOU SUCK BALLS!!!

  • love this music to bits.

  • @77anonimo

    (yours) is stupid comment

  • assistir esse filme no cinema qdo tinha 15anos, ja aos 40anos ainda acho que esse filme de zumbi e um dos melhores que ja vi

  • man the zombie vs shark scene is awesome, great movie.

  • Fat fuckn zombies are the best

  • Zombies unter Kanibalen was the German title for Marino Girolami's Zombie Holocaust..a different movie though that and Zombi2 both starred Ian McCulloch

  • yep zombie holocaust wasnt as good though

  • Lucio Fulci was the greatest horror director in cinema history, though I preferred his City of the Living Dead, which he made a couple of years after Zombi2 (known of course as Zombie Flesh Eaters in the UK)

  • the soundtrack is cool.

  • 29-06-2009 82,850 views

  • yeah. it is zombie 2.

  • thats not zombi 2

  • um yea it is

  • i live in germany and it's called

    ''zombies unter kanibalen'' here

  • yea well not in the origonal place in where it was made, so zombi 2 is its true name because that was the first name the movie was given.

  • Dawn/night/living/day of the (living) are the first because it is a sequel of those.

  • its not a sequel to night or day, its a sequel to dawn

  • Actually it is an unofficial sequel to Dawn of the Dead. It originally a standalone film with no connection to the Romero series, the New York scene was added to give it some connection to Dawn. The producers had Lucio Fulci retitle it as Zombi 2 (Dario Argento's cut of Dawn was called Zombi in Europe) in order to cash in on Dawn's success.

  • yep, as many of the producers did in that time-(burial ground/zombi 3, anthropophagus 2/ zombi 5) its kind of funny how they pulled that off back then.

  • actually that is a bull shark. It's not as as fast as the miko or great white shark or most sharks but it's very deadly and can rip u in half. Rumor has it that they drugged or tranquilized the shark from being to aggressive for those scenes.

  • @Tonster1998 No it's a Tiger Shark

  • dawn of the dead 1979 wasn't that good of a movie. I like the setup in the mall but the zombies and action sucked. Lucio Fulci's Zombie 1979 was far superior than Dawn of the Dead makeup wise and action wise.

  • thanks for the stats!

  • XD zombie trys to eat a shark

  • We miss you, Lucio.

  • I love this movie! If your a zombie fan check this one out!!!!!!

    thedead-movie official trailer

  • italian horror movies rule!

  • my favorite zombie movie.

  • We are stuck with fake looking CGI crap, will be a decade or longer before we get realistic looking effects

  • cool but ive never seen movie

  • fucking zombies, why don't they just piss off and die!

  • don't you mean live?

  • Thats actually, true. They could either permanently die, or live again.

  • lots of things in this movie didnt make sence or add up. i think the 28 movies could eventually become 'classics'

  • best zombie movie ever made, i remember the restroom in the theaters were full of people throwing up through the whole movei. classic

  • How do you kill that, which is already dead??? :O

  • A few days ago I saw this movie here on you tube , and I have to say that it is just a classic and I am glad I were able to see it, at the same time I would be glad to buy it, I especially liked the ending, because it givies more suspense to the movie.

  • one thank i hated about this movie is that there was no miltary just people geting random wepions?

  • really good makeup

  • spagetti zombie film[hee hee]this film is awesome at being scarry and funny at the same time.

  • yeah i bet u like horror/zombie movies today where everything is all fake looking CGI crap. This movie had a zombie attacking a real live shark. If that was done today it will be a fake ass CGI shark.

  • EXACTLY, CGI sucks!

  • This movie was the inspiration for the classic game "Resident Evil"...=D

Capcom has a good taste (no pun intended)

  • this isnt ZOMBI2? i thought on zombi2 it had this radio station dj that turns into a zombie at the end? what am i talking about? it was italian/dubbed in english

  • what your thinking of is zombi 3 this IS zombi 2

  • i want this movie so badly

  • go buy it. its on dvd

  • i cant find it in any shops here in scotland but im currently lookin on ebay

  • When I saw this movie I was like 8 years old. I couldnt sleep for more than 3 weeks. I can still remember the chilling music. Great movie!

  • The greatest era for the walking dead circa 1975-1985

  • lucio fulci`s

    "zombie"

  • myspace moca777

  • fuck ya

  • lmao such a poor budget, on the brooklyn bridge scene they could just corden it off, they just walk across with cars goin under neath lol, looks good tho, might just have to pick up one

  • why havent i seen this? i wish i could find it.

  • awesome movie. awesome song. awesome video. well done man

  • Man im really lost on these titles . you have the movie titled as zombi 2 another guy on youtube has it titled zombi and another guy has this movie titled zombie 2 . and I bought this movie and its titled zombie . Im lost ???????

  • zombi is dawn of the dead in itally, zombie, zombie 2, and zombi 2 are the same movies. You guys are all such idiots

  • no problem horror noob

  • Your welcome bitch Boy ! By the way You dont even look old enough to grow pubes

  • thats funny considering your a prehubesent 3 year old, plaease dont coment on my videos or look on my chanel any more

  • The music to this film is fantastic - i wish I had the soundtrack, but I guess I can listen to on here =)

  • bad ass zombie vs shark

  • when i was ten years old i saw a trailer for this one, next day i had to go on summercamp in the belgian woods for 14 days and didnt sleep or eat, later it became my favorit horrorfilm !

  • American classic! :P

  • you mean italina classic

  • Italian made film, with British and American actors

  • Wow, imagine seeing this film in a theatre. People leaving and all. Makes modern horrors look like Bambi. Not that you can really compare this to Resident Evil etc... Just the zombie theme. And they are are scarier in this, 30 yr old film!

  • i agree

  • I know that lots of criticisms for this movie.

But I think this movie has been very good

    entertainment.

Because for the first time when I saw this movie 29 years ago, just after 1st shock scene

of the cruiser in NY bay, two-thirds audience

went out from the theater who thought not be able to stand coming up shock scenes..

So, I have thought it has been great to see

    as entertainment.

  • now obviously..when a guy is dead and was rotting in a grave...his brain eyes and smell wouldnt be intact..so its not the t virus...

  • This film is one of the best zombie films ever made!

Mayeb not as well known as "Night of the Living Dead" or "Dawn of the Dead", but I like it just as much, if not more, than those two movies.

    Fulci's gore rules!

  • brilliant film scary as hell

  • I love the ending scene... great

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • SO DO I!!!

  • I thought it was a hella fun. But I must say that I think HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD is the best zombie movie I've ever seen.

  • hell of the living dead was good but i liked this better

  • do you know where i could get the theme

  • nope, only from a soundtrack. or recording it

  • The japan shock single disc special edition comes with complete soundtrack as an extra feature, i picked it up on ebay for £5.99

  • i have two soundtracks of it. One that i got at the comic con and one off the internet

  • My version of this dvd has the full soundtrack on it as a special feature as zombi 2 dutch label im not at home right now but wil confirm the label hope this is of help

  • ain't these videos from zombie flesh eaters pt1 especially the boat bit

  • yes

  • no actually

  • there is no "pt1" the original George Romero Dawn of the Dead was released as Zombi in Italy so Fulci made a movie called Zombi 2 to try and draw people to see it. Although the title may let you think its a sequel it really has nothing to do with Dawn. Now there are sequels to this zombi but they're all horrible and not made by fulci (save for something like 10% of three.) So to answer your question, nope these are all from the same movie ^__^.

  • trust, me i know that story. What the person up there was mentioning was zombi 2. in england zombie to is called zombie flesh eaters 1. Thats why i had said yes.

  • You are right! Suspiria is a real masterpiece! Fulci was more brutal but Argento was much more original and refined in his early works. He took a great inspiration from Bava's photofraphy, all those coloured, spotlights and stuff like that!

    Great!

  • ..HOOPS! I meant "..Bava's PHOTOGRAPHY"..HE-he..Sorry.

  • gorosaurus101, you is the boy of the picture??

    cool trailer!!

  • hu? what picture

  • I remember when i first saw this it took me months to find it and when i watched i was disgusted but then i really got into now im a huge zombie movie freak i got loads of them on dvd like all the nasties from Italy there amazing all of them Lucio Fulci and all others are the greates zombie movie creators EVER

  • great music score from fabio frizzi, earie synth, ive got it on my ipod.

  • did you see the underwater zombie, it was on a seafood diet, wots that all about.

  • Zombies are compelled to attack/eat living flesh. Since they dont need to breathe, nor feel pain, then they will try and tackle things like sharks.

  • I always have this theme stuck in my head!

  • italian horror rocks!

  • you got that right pal!!!

  • impresionante video me gustaria ver esta pelicula

  • Nice Video. This really brings back some good memories. I saw this movie when I was like 8 and I couldn't sleep for two weeks. This is the time came out in what I call the golden era of the zombie genre. The music is really eerie.

  • Half of the people are just standing around looking at the zombies instead of running for dear life. And, the girl who's face is being pulled towards the splinter wood isn't even trying to resist.

  • this is a good movie though.

  • i dont care wotanyone says this music is the scariest shit eva!!!

  • Thanks:)

  • My favorite zombie movie of all time.

The eye woman looks like Avy Scott.

  • the part with when the wood goes in the chicks eye is stupid as well. wouldn't she be smart enough to move her hand in front of the wood, or to break it off? nah, instead she just lets it go through her eye.

  • elquez tabata ell ell gelme metuse rotomadsa

  • i think the music for this film was probably the scariest, and btw you know the part when the zombie gets up (the one with maggots in his eye) and bites that womens neck, wouldnt you have just ran as soon as you saw it? cos she is so f***ing stupid.

  • Forget that. Doesn't anyone notice there was a man actually wrestling and biting a bull shark in this movie? Amazing

  • I know and it wasn't a fake shark either, trueley an awsome movie. thanks for comenting.

  • nice

  • thanks

  • wat u think is the most brutal?

  • city of the dead, the intestine spewing scene-

  • jeese that is nothin compared to the gore scenes from the original day of the dead....

  • day of the dead was'nt that bad at all in my opinoin just regular old intestines. Itd acually funny that you mention that movie i watched it again last morning.

  • the most brutal zombie of all time! a true horror classic.

  • yes, a clasic, but not the most brutal!

  • I love the zombi theme music.

  • class tune

  • he, thats a lame excuse for letting somone stick a splinter through your eye. LOL

  • I love this movie!

  • yes i was getting very annoyed of that guy thanks! Black rage, sheesh

  • gorosaurus101, I didnt mean anything personal in what i typed, i will do myself a favor and never click on this video again, And since you have such easy feelings which is odd for a horror movie buff, Make sure you block my screen name from commenting on your video if you havn't done so already.

  • were can i download this at wat web site i want the hole movie i cant find in any stores or any were could some one help me

  • get it on amazon.

  • gorosaurus101, This zombie in particular that grabed her hair, he let out a roar as he punched through the wall, it was terrifying to me gorosaurus101 because i was so young when i saw this. And the zombie was a black man gorosaurus101, and you can tell he really wanted to kill this lady because she was white, I think the roar he screamed out was black rage gorosaurus101.

  • and just to let you know her scalp wasnt bleeding he was holding onto her hair and tugging it slowly and not violently at all towards the door. She was also not sitting down.

  • gorosaurus101, I said she should of tried to sit down, Then the splinter would have missed her eye ball. gorosaurus101 click on the eye gauging sceene and listen to the zombies roar as he punched through the wall and grabed her hair.

  • That girl at 1:35 is such an idiot, i hated her

  • ya i know she just stands there. Did any one also notice that in the eye sceene the doctor's wife just lets the zombi pull her through? she dosnt use her arms to pull away, nope

  • gorosaurus101, I noticed her scalp bleeding when the zombie had her by the hair pulling her towards the splinter in the wall, So thats telling me he had a tight enough grip to make her scalp bleed, so maybe she couldn't break away.

  • i know but she wasnt even trying to break away. She had her hand placed at her sides. If she tryed using her hands as breaks or as weapons to punch it she might have had a better chance at survival.

  • gorosaurus101, She should of also feel to her knees or tried to sit down atleast, i understand what you mean though. gorosaurus101 when i was 7 or 8 this came out in theatres and i saw it and the music alone scared me, I remember feeling so sorry for the lady because i thought when she pushed the dresser up against the wall it was going to hold.

  • I am partial to Goblin's "Dawn..." soundtrack.

  • i like this one better but dawn's is alright

  • I didnt know there was a soundtrack release for this film. I just love the theme. And of course, Fulci is my favourite Italian director.

  • I really like this song too. Excellent use of synths to make a theme that's morbid and catchy at the same time.

  • There seems to be 2 different versions of this particular theme song, When you click on zombie vs shark the theme song sounds different then the one here playing now.

  • dude! you cut away before the eye gouging! come on...

  • i wanna keep it clean for the kiddies.

  • Hmm... did you find an MP3 of the theme on the internet, or did you just rip the music from the video?

  • no, i bought the soundtrack on cd on ebay for 20 bucks

  • The soundtrack? Well... I just like this one song, if I gave yiou my e-Mail address, would it be out of your way to send me the MP3? I'm really against paying more than I want for an album, when I only want one song out of it.

  • no i knew he was dead
