@NocheeseSherlock Les Strouds show survivor man only lasted three seasons. How bout that and yes he is an actor to just like Bear and Ray. I'm talking about real life survival situations with real people. I don't care for all three of them really. Les can call for help at any time. "Thats not survival, that's acting".

@bwaller1974 Chilean miners survived because not only they had a reinforced area to which they ran into when the collapse but also they had rations down there.. Also after found they were handed food, water, clothing and entertainment through a hole -__-

Sure it was a real situation with not much help if it got any worse; but they even watched the world cup down there!

If Les is in immediate Danger there's no one there to help because safe camp is several miles away.

Watch a Ray Mears show, he talks about and shows a reinactment of "REAL" survival situations that "REAL" people where in not actors.

The director of Survivorman was Les Stroud HE HIMSELF moved the cameras and survived and made the music for the show as well. Help? Sure at times like the time he tried surviving at sea he had to pull out because of an incoming storm But he is as close as real survivor as a person could get while filming. If he would of been a phony they would of caught him like they caught Grylls

@bwaller1974 Why was I not as interested in Ray Mears show? Because they were telling STORIES. Things that already happened. (Don't get me wrong they are great too) But Les Strouds could of been attack and we woulds actually have the opportunity to watch it. That gave me the interest to keep watching. Like when he was at the Amazons and a panther chased him. That was interesting because if the panther caught up with him we would seen Les Stroud in the menu
