Your opinion is by and large held by the minority of Jews both in Israel and abroad, but I'm always happy to see when someone from the tribes speaks out against the goings-on here. if the world were filled with people like yourself, and the majority of Jews in Israel and elsewhere took your point of view, there's little evidence that this kind of b.s. would ever happen.

At times I feel like this situation is hopeless, but I still believe in peace because of people like yourself.

All I can hope is that people like you become more and more involved. It's a perspective like yours that lends to a real solution.

The value of the Torah for me is like the value of the New Testament: such value never shows when used as a foil for power and control by the strong, but always shows when used to defend the weak and to safeguard the oppressed.

Use it in that sense, and EVERYONE will know. Rabbis for Human Rights does this so well - they make me want to be a jew!
